Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 117: Chapter 117: Channel Communication, Lord’s Visit

It’s a pity that those kobolds cannot complete construction tasks; they can only assist with gathering and can’t completely replace the role of farmers.

Otherwise, it would alleviate the current construction pressure.

After dealing with the infrastructure issues of the territory, Zong Shen began the upgrade from the [Tier One Grass Hut].

The [Tier Two House] can accommodate 6 population units, three times the capacity of the Grass Hut.

However, the construction costs are much higher than the Grass Hut.

Once the house is completed, it will basically meet the current housing needs.

After placing this batch of buildings, the basic resources of wood and ma in the territory were almost consumed completely.

[Wood ×32]

[Stone ×430]

[Iron ×593]

[Ma ×57]

Wood and ma are definitely major consumers in construction.

Of course, this is also related to Zong Shen’s terrifying construction progress.

So far, the resources he’s consumed are at least ten times or even twenty times more than the average lord!

After finishing all this, Zong Shen opened the [World Channel] and silently observed for a while.

He noticed others also began mentioning these suddenly appearing ”burrows.”

However, most people were unsure of the burrows’ role and simply described them as suddenly appearing ”caves.”

But some cautious individuals were speculating about the purpose of the burrows’ appearance.

The countdown meaning was simply too obvious.

However, the speculated information was mixed in the rapidly refreshing flow and wasn’t conspicuous at all.

More people were discussing ”burrows” on the [Regional Channel] instead.

All were pondering the meaning behind the appearance of the ”burrows.”

Some lords were eager, mistaking them for magical ruins, itching to explore them.

Zong Shen shook his head, thinking at this rate, the first batch of casualties might appear as soon as the burrows open.

With that in mind, he decided to issue a warning, but how many would heed it wasn’t his concern.

Some fools, even if tied up, would find a way to get themselves killed.

”Zong Shen1999514: Warning! Don’t approach those suddenly appearing caves, or you won’t even know how you died!”

...

”Shinbo Mentai1994412: Baka, you’re definitely lying to us, wanting to claim the ruins for yourself!”

”Park Yousong1997618: Ah Si, I think he’s right, otherwise why would there be a countdown? You Dongying people must have eaten too much radiated fish and become stupid!”

”Xie Shoushun1993116: One whip, one foolish fool, this is our regional expert. He showed off a lot of equipment yesterday; the expert is definitely right. There’s a cave near my territory that looks like there might be a lot of these strange caves in the region. They can’t be anything good!”

...

There were fools and smart people in the channel.

They argued their points, prompting debates that showcased the diversity of humanity, all raising varied possibilities.

Zong Shen closed the [Regional Channel] and was about to open the [Friends and Family Channel] when two unread notifications popped up.

At the same time, Zong Ze also sent a message.

”Big brother, is there one of those suddenly appearing caves near you?”

”I feel the cave is strange, seemingly appearing in every region. Be more careful yourself.”

Zong Shen felt warm upon seeing Zong Ze’s message.

”There’s one near me; I’ll be careful, Ah Ze.”

”[Image].jpg”

He replied while snapping a picture of his territory and sending it over.

The chat channel allows for images to be captured and sent, and even to be taken from specific angles.

In Zong Shen’s image, the photo shows a small-scale aerial view of the territory, with more than a dozen farmers building walls and dozens of soldiers standing by.

A series of buildings are arranged in order, with three elemental arrow towers towering mightily.

”Holy cow, my big brother is a real expert!”

”Still need a hanging ornament for your thighs?”

”Let me show you mine! Our camps are like heaven and earth!”

”[Image].jpg”

Zong Shen clicked on the image, showing Zong Ze’s territory, which was clearly smaller, with twelve farmers and around ten soldiers.

Most of these soldiers were predominantly goblins, giant demons, and orcs, appearing rough and strong.

Besides, Zong Ze’s side had a petite, beautiful female mage in a sea-blue mage robe beside him, looking extremely at ease.

His territory was on a clearing in the mountain waist, with considerable space.

Though it’s not as convenient for construction as the plains, it was currently easier to defend.

Both sides were flanked by trees and mountain paths.

Zong Ze hadn’t built walls, but there were also two similar tower structures in his territory.

They looked more rugged compared to Zong Shen’s elemental arrow towers.

The tower’s main body was wooden, covered with crudely forged iron plates.

Clearly, it was another style or ethnic type of defense building.

Zong Ze’s strength was entirely above average, worthy of being called a high-level player.

Zong Shen shared all the information about the burrows with Zong Ze.

With his current power, as long as he was prepared, he could definitely protect himself peacefully.

The two exchanged conversations, and Zong Ze declined Zong Shen’s offer to give resources.

He was doing fairly well and hadn’t reached the point of needing support from his elder brother.

Zong Shen didn’t insist, knowing his brother recognized his own abilities.

When they were kids, his brother often refused to call him elder brother, not willing to shout ”bro,” calling him Zong Shen instead.

But as they grew older, he matured immensely, jokes aside, properly recognizing him as elder brother.

They shared information about this world.

Until Zong Shen heard the surrounding noise suddenly rise.

He then closed the [Chat Channel].

Looking around, he noticed all soldiers heading to the south side of the territory.

Zong Shen stood up and walked along the backyard wall.

About five or six hundred meters away, a heroic lady lord with a ponytail was watching with eight soldiers.

She saw Zong Shen approaching and waved at him.

”Lord Zong! It’s me, the one who messaged you yesterday!”

”I was just about to send you a message!”

She shouted loudly, afraid Zong Shen couldn’t hear her.

Zong Shen was somewhat surprised but not puzzled.

”Wow, she’s really here.”

The next moment, a prompt appeared before him.

[Lord Jiang Yi has requested to visit your territory]

[Reject][Agree]

Zong Shen chose to agree.

This way, she could visit legally and wouldn’t suffer any indiscriminate attacks from defense buildings.

She was riding the Old Traveling Horse, her face brimming with excitement.

Behind her were six wolf cavalry, a dragon-kin ranger, and a bald-headed warrior wielding two axes following on foot.

Steadily, she approached Zong Shen.

Beside Zong Shen were thirteen wolf cavalry lined up.

Goblin Ripper, Burrowing Demon, Lensa Shuizhao, along with Luna and Tiezhu stood opposite.

They formed two vertical columns of squads.
