Chapter 145: Chapter 145: Damaged Heavy Combat Puppet

This is a gigantic metal puppet.

Its head is fully enclosed within a face helmet, with a crimson glow like a Cyclops with a red eye.

Its body is covered in a silver metallic shell, with a badge of a spark emitting from an iron hammer on it.

On its torso and arm joints, there are rings of purple metal, emitting a hazy purple light.

The arms are two massive metal iron fists, bearing no weapon, perhaps because its weapon isn’t among the wooden crates.

It looks even larger and heavier than the goblin’s Tearing Demon Energy Armor!

Beneath its head, on its chest, there is a fist-sized hole that has been pierced.

The metal shell, as thick as a finger, was melted through, showing clear signs of metal melting, revealing the complex runes and magic energy structure inside.

The mountain rock behind the wooden crate was melted through as well, to an unknown depth.

”Creak!”

It took the first step!

In the dark fortress hall of this cavern, it was quite oppressive.

Standing right behind Sangui Yingshu.

”Hahahaha!”

”Destiny does not abandon me, who knew there’d be ruins and a puppet here!”

”Now, prepare to die!”

”Hahahaha...”

”Ah...!”

Sangui Yingshu laughed wildly, his hysterical and mercurial personality revealed thoroughly.

But the laughter didn’t last long.

A metal fist as big as a sandbag suddenly hammered out from behind him!

Knocking him straight away!

His back visibly twisted and deformed.

Not sure how many bones broke.

A damage value as high as hundreds floated by.

Sangui Yingshu fell like a rag doll in front of Zong Shen.

It looked like he wouldn’t make it.

”Hiss!”

In place, a pneumatic white smoke puffed out of the purple rings on the arms of the metal puppet, this iron fist used steam ejection.

”Peh!”

Zong Shen spat at Sangui Yingshu’s corpse.

To die at the hands of this metal puppet was a bargain for that guy.

Speaking of which, this guy randomly grasped at straws, daring to activate a clearly damaged puppet.

He locked his gaze onto the metal puppet.

Its head, glistening with red light, was also observing Zong Shen.

”That guy thought he grabbed a life-saving straw, but didn’t know activating this combat puppet would cause indiscriminate slaughter!”

Zong Shen sneered, unafraid of the combat puppet itself.

By this time, the Heavy Combat Puppet had already locked onto Zong Shen, and was walking towards him with heavy steps.

Its size is huge, and its pace is not fast, comparable to an ordinary person walking briskly, as Tiezhu had sensibly run to one side long ago.

The five-meter-tall body cannot pass through the cave from which Zong Shen came.

And another exit in the hall is sealed with a firm Rune Gate.

So in Zong Shen’s eyes, this guy is like a turtle in a jar, with no challenge.

Zong Shen already had his plan.

That Sangui Yingshu, as dumb as a pig, dared to activate a puppet without knowing the details.

”Let’s retreat to the cave first!”

Zong Shen called out.

Having Tiezhu and the two Wolf Cavalry retreat into the cave first.

He himself entered last!

Stopping inside the cave.

By this time, the Heavy Combat Puppet had already reached the outside of the cave.

Twisting its metal body, attempting to squeeze into the cave to crush Zong Shen.

But its body size was far too large for the cave, it couldn’t squeeze in at all, cracking a lot of mountain rock at the cave’s entrance instead.

It thrust its arm into the cave, grabbing wildly.

Everything was under Zong Shen’s control.

”Lend me a short spear.”

He reached behind, speaking to one of the Wolf Cavalry.

The Wolf Cavalry handed Zong Shen a short spear.

Though called a short spear, it was about 1.2 meters long.

Zong Shen grasped the short spear, and fiercely stabbed it at the extending arm of the Heavy Combat Puppet.

”Clang!”

The short spear in his hand struck the metal arm hard.

Leaving only a shallow white mark after scraping.

Goodness, it didn’t break through!

After the official period rule has been implemented, there are no more forced damage settings.

But nothing is absolutely impassable, with consistent attacks on the same spot, damage will gradually occur, eventually resulting in armor piercing.

But Zong Shen was not aiming to cause damage to the combat puppet.

Merely maintaining its hate value.

The combat puppet’s metal arm grabbed wildly, yet couldn’t reach anything.

Zong Shen intermittently jabbed it with the short spear.

After six or seven minutes.

The Heavy Combat Puppet’s arm heavily fell inside the cave.

Outside the cave, the puppet’s body also suddenly collapsed, its over 2000 magic energy completely exhausted, the combat puppet had lost all power!

Zong Shen had been waiting for this moment.

He reached out and took the entire Heavy Combat Puppet into his pocket.

The Lord’s personal storage grid can accommodate various items.

This magic energy-depleted, non-functional Heavy Combat Puppet was no exception, essentially a kind of war puppet.

”Really nice.”

”When can I capture some Dwarf Forging Masters, Goblin Engineers, and Magic Energy Scientists to help repair this combat puppet, wouldn’t that be satisfying?”

Zong Shen smiled.

This magic energy puppet’s armor value is frighteningly high, though its size is too large and its weight too heavy, and its agility not great.

Yet if it can be repaired, it would be perfect for guarding the territory’s entrance.

He stepped into the dark fortress hall once more.

Stepping past Sangui Yingshu’s corpse, he stood before the Rune Gate.

The gate was covered in mottled marks and dried, blackened stains!
