Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 129: Chapter 129: Two Silver Treasure Chests, Loot Inventory

Earlier, her mind was entirely on the treasure chest.

If Zong Shen hadn’t dragged her along for treasure hunting in the cave, she would have opened the chest right away.

”Sect Lord, leave one silver treasure chest for me to open, my luck has always been great...”

Jiang Yi said eagerly.

It’s like opening a surprise box, always filled with anticipation for the first opening.

Hearing this, Zong Shen stretched his hand gently in front of her.

”Don’t rush, let me check first!”

He wasn’t that optimistic about these clumped treasure chests.

From his many experiences of opening chests.

Whenever two or more chests appear at the same time, one of them will certainly be a trap.

Moreover, these chests can be found by soldiers and indigenous people but cannot be opened.

Clearly, it’s all the handiwork of the Lord System.

So he couldn’t let Jiang Yi open these chests carelessly.

They needed to be checked first.

He didn’t want to be knocked out by poison gas, nor be blown up to death by violent explosive magic.

Zong Shen squinted slightly, beginning to inspect the treasure chests in front of him.

He first looked at the two silver chests.

[Silver Treasure Chest]

[An unknown silver treasure chest, nobody knows what might come out of it]

(No issues with the chest, safe to open)

...

To his surprise, both silver treasure chests were fine.

Then there was only one truth, as he turned his attention to the ancient bronze chest.

[Ancient Bronze Treasure Chest]

[An unknown ancient bronze treasure chest, nobody knows what might come out of it]

(This chest is a trap, once opened, you will be subject to a sheep transformation magic, turning into a lively sheep for 24 hours, losing all lordly functions during this period)

Sure enough, it’s a trap, and it’s a sheep transformation?

”These two silver chests can be opened, but this ancient bronze chest is problematic.”

Zong Shen thought for a moment and spoke directly.

”Problematic? Can treasure chests have problems?”

Jiang Yi was a bit doubtful, having opened only a few chests, she naturally didn’t know that treasure chests could contain traps.

As for the channels, few have mentioned it.

After all, these things are either hard to come by or irresistible once encountered.

Opening a trap chest results in either death or severe injury.

Facing various attacks, or becoming subject to strange magic.

Zong Shen nodded seriously.

”Yes, when multiple treasure chests appear at once, there must be a trap.”

”This is summarized from lessons learned through blood and tears.”

What he said was true, indeed learned from others’ painful experiences.

This thing is simply a divine artifact for tricking people.

After all, the treasure chest itself is the best bait.

Jiang Yi was still skeptical.

Zong Shen swiftly stored the ancient bronze chest into the storage grid.

”Such a dangerous thing, let me take it away.”

”Otherwise, it wouldn’t be good to harm innocent lords.”

”Alright, let’s open the treasure chests.”

He said righteously, quickly storing away that trap chest.

Jiang Yi felt Zong Shen was lying but had no evidence.

Feeling rather frustrated inside.

At this point, Zong Shen pointed to the two silver chests and said in a gentlemanly manner.

”Ladies first, Lord Jiang, you go ahead.”

Jiang Yi didn’t hold back, fearing Zong Shen might take away the chests again without a word.

Opening them early would at least give her a twenty percent share.

Her gaze moved back and forth between the two silver chests.

Finally, she chose the one closest to her.

She chose to open it.

The lid slowly opened.

Several light balls emerged one after another.

Among them, one purple light ball was particularly eye-catching.

A silver-level treasure chest could yield rare-level items.

For instance, Zong Shen once opened a Dragon Descendant Ranger Barracks Construction Map, which was a rare-level blueprint.

The two of them looked on.

Six rewards became visible.

[Magic Hall Construction Map (Purple) ×1]

[Dragon Transformation Spear and Shield Warrior Recruitment Scroll ×2]

[Intermediate Wisdom Book ×1]

[Sharp Dragon Piercing Spear (Blue) ×1]

[Tier One Road Barrier Construction Blueprint ×1]

[Intermediate Good Land Construction Map (10×10) ×2]

The rewards were not bad, including a so-called Magic Hall Construction Map, which was a rare purple level.

Also, two recruitment scrolls, estimated to be for tier-three soldiers.

”Not a bad hand, let’s see mine.”

He turned his gaze to the other silver chest.

Immediately chose to open it.

Similarly, several beams of light flashed.

This time, seven light groups emerged from the chest.

[Silver Treasure Chest Successfully Opened]

[Giant Wolf Nest Construction Map (Purple) ×1]

[Dragon Transformation Spear and Shield Warrior Recruitment Scroll ×3]

[Basic Strength Book ×2]

[Resilient Silver Battle Shield (Blue) ×1]

[Tier Two Elemental Arrow Tower Construction Blueprint ×1]

[Simple Toilet Construction Blueprint ×1]

[Hot Spring Construction Blueprint ×1]

Also included a rare-level blueprint, but with an extra recruitment scroll and item.

Seems like Zong Shen’s luck was slightly better than Jiang Yi’s.

Both silver treasure chests were opened successfully.

The given rewards were extremely tempting.

Next, it was time to distribute the spoils.

Zong Shen first broke down the two silver treasure chests, obtaining secret silver ×20.

”Let’s take out the spoils from the water elements.”

”Close relations require clear calculations, to give a perfect conclusion to this cooperation.”

Jiang Yi naturally had no objections; she got a smaller share and had no priority in choice.

Zong Shen ate the meat, while she only sipped the soup.

She understood this clearly, collaboration like this involved mutual agreement.

She wasn’t actually losing much, as long as her mindset was right.

Both of them laid out the spoils previously acquired from the water elements on the ground.

Started categorizing them by type and quality.

Material type included [Basic Elemental Crystal ×127], [Basic Water Rune ×18], [Secret Silver ×20].
