Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Capítulo 2090: Chapter 2090: An Old Man Is Looking for You

Jian Yufei has always been fair to both children, giving each of them unique love.

How could she stop after finishing one to knit one for Ruan Tianling?

So Ruan Tianling is at the back of the line!

No matter how much he demanded or how upset he got, she insisted on finishing the scarves for the kids before knitting his.

Ruan Tianling was keen on the scarf she knit by hand, like a child yearning for a toy, constantly thinking about it, itching with anticipation.

Jian Yufei took out the bright red yarn, ready to knit another one.

Ruan Tianling grabbed the yarn, “Knit mine first, or don’t knit at all!”

Jian Yufei was speechless, “Don’t be childish, give it back to me.”

Ruan Tianling was really getting into it, “Whenever you finish mine, I’ll give it back to you.”

“Ruan Tianling, isn’t it ungentlemanly to argue about these things with the kids?”

“This isn’t an argument! You’re my woman, allowing you to knit for them is already a great mercy. There’s no reason their order should be before mine. Jian Yufei, since you’re my woman, you should think only of me!”

“They’re my sons…”

Ruan Tianling interrupted her, “Sons will grow up and have their own families, they’ll leave you sooner or later. Only I will stay with you for life, never leaving or abandoning you!”

When he said this, Ruan Tianling was earnest.

Jian Yufei found it amusing, “Stop it, I haven’t done much for the kids, don’t compete with them on this.”

When she said this, Ruan Tianling had nothing to say.

He hadn’t done much for the kids either…

“Alright then, but not again.”

Jian Yufei took the yarn back, just smiling, not agreeing to his overbearing demands.

While the two of them were chatting and laughing in the bedroom, a servant knocked on the door: “Young Mistress, someone is looking for you outside.”

“Come in!” Ruan Tianling said.

The servant entered and respectfully repeated, “Young Mistress, there’s an elderly gentleman outside looking for you.”

“Looking for me? Did he say who he is?” Jian Yufei asked.

The servant shook her head, “He only said he needs your help with something.”

“Could be a scam, chase him away!” Ruan Tianling said bluntly.

“Wait. I should at least see him; what if he really needs my help?”

Ruan Tianling said coolly, “You don’t even know him, and he’s randomly looking for you. He must be a scammer!”

“How do you know I don’t know him? You won’t know until you see.” Jian Yufei didn’t believe there were that many scammers in the world.

If an old man came to ask for help, there must be a reason.

But Ruan Tianling didn’t want to deal with any strangers; Jian Yufei ignored him and insisted on meeting the person.

He had no choice but to follow.

Jian Yufei first let the servant invite the old man inside. The Ruan Family house has several living rooms, so the servant took the old man to a small one.

Jian Yufei walked into the living room and saw the old man sitting inside, she paused.

Isn’t this the same old man she ran into yesterday?

Ruan Tianling slightly frowned, his expression turning colder.

“Who exactly are you?!” he immediately asked coldly.

His instincts told him this old man was not simple.

The day before yesterday, he was at the bridge entrance, yesterday at his suburban villa, and today he’s here at their doorstep. How could these things be such a coincidence?

This only meant that the old man had an agenda directed at them.

This time, Jian Yufei also became cautious, thinking this old man was problematic.
