Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 2086: Chapter 2086: Want to Die Together with You

Her heart felt like it had been thrown into a meat grinder, turning into fragments.

”But if you leave with me, I’ll be really upset.”

”If you’re dead, do you still know how to be upset?” Ruan Tianling retorted.

”You know that people don’t feel anything when they’re dead. What’s the point of dying with me?! People don’t have souls, and if we die, we won’t be together!” Jian Yufei suddenly shouted angrily.

Ruan Tianling remained expressionless, his entire body stiff as he stopped speaking.

Jian Yufei also quieted down.

Why were they discussing such a heavy topic like death here?

She was still living well and should happily enjoy every day.

Just as Jian Yufei was about to say something to lighten the mood, Ruan Tianling suddenly said in a low voice, ”I know that after death there’s no soul, dead means dead...but I want to die together with you.”

”...” Jian Yufei turned her gaze away, her eyes brimming with tears.

”Ruan Tianling, we can’t be so selfish. Is it not enough for the children to lose their mother, do you want them to lose their father too?”

”It’s my fault, I’m not a good father.”

He indeed was not a good father, but he was a very good husband.

Jian Yufei felt that it was all her fault.

She should have left at the beginning...

If she had left, Ruan Tianling wouldn’t know she was going to die, and he would live well.

”But I can’t stop worrying about the two children; I hope you can take good care of them,” Jian Yufei said, turning back.

Then she was shocked to see Ansel standing on the second floor.

Ansel’s face was full of tears. He raised his hand to wipe away the tears and stared at her, saying, ”Mom, don’t worry about Junqi and me. I’ll take good care of myself and my brother; we’ll be fine. Dad, if you must go to be with Mom, then please take good care of her. Next life, Junqi and I will still be your children.”

Ruan Tianling and Jian Yufei were too stunned to speak.

Everything could no longer be hidden; the verdict of death was known to everyone.

Jian Yufei suddenly covered her face and started to cry loudly.

Ruan Tianling quickly embraced her, comforting her with red eyes, ”Why cry? I’m here with you; you should be happy.”

Jian Yufei couldn’t utter a single word; she held his body tightly and cried uncontrollably.

Ruan Tianling also said no more; he just held her, continually kissing the top of her head, continuously patting her back, silently giving her comfort.

Jian Yufei let out all the suppressed pain.

She cried for a long time, unaware of when Ruan Tianling carried her back to the bedroom.

She didn’t even know when she fell asleep.

...

When she woke up, it was already broad daylight.

She propped up her body, feeling her eyes were red and swollen.

Ruan Tianling sat beside her, didn’t close his eyes all night.

His eyes were bloodshot, and he looked a bit haggard.

”Awake? Get up, let’s go downstairs to eat.” He smiled, tidying her hair, as if completely forgetting about last night.

Jian Yufei pressed her lips together; she didn’t want to bring up last night’s matter either.

”Ruan Tianling, are you okay?” she asked with concern.

”I’m fine, you don’t need to worry about me.” Ruan Tianling smiled gently, ”Yufei, no matter how much time we have left, let’s spend it happily, okay?”

He was talking about us... not just her alone.

Jian Yufei knew she was no longer able to change his mind about living and dying together.

Her heart felt very hurt, yet she also gave up on persuading him.
