Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

80: Zhang Jinjun enters the catering industryAfter finishing his meal, Lu Qingyu went back and searched the internet, only to discover that this world actually didn’t have the Hot Pot Restaurant Chain!

Good heavens, the Hot Pot Restaurant Chain! It’s a paradise for extroverts; the world would lose so much color without it.

Since no one had started this format yet, he would be the forefather of the Hot Pot Restaurant Chain. How could he let this opportunity slip by?

This was simply too exhilarating. He felt that meal was more than worth it, so Lu Qingyu called Qi Fei overnight for a meeting.

Qi Fei had already finished work and was on his way home when he suddenly received a call from Lu Qingyu saying he wanted to open a hot pot restaurant. He didn’t quite understand why his young boss suddenly wanted to do this.

There were so many hot pot restaurants on the market right now, and in Qi Fei’s view, this project didn’t look very promising.

The catering industry isn’t that easy to succeed in. How many bosses had tried to enter the catering industry before, only to end up failing in the end?

Assuming Lu Qingyu was just acting on a whim, Qi Fei felt that when he met Lu Qingyu later, he had to persuade him otherwise. Blind investment was a no-go; even if one has money, it shouldn’t be spent like this.

While Qi Fei was on his way, Lu Qingyu drafted a proposal for the Hot Pot Restaurant Chain concept.

The doorbell rang. Qi Fei stood at the door, and Lu Qingyu opened it, handing his proposal directly to him.

Lu Qingyu said, ”Brother Qi, this is my proposal for the hot pot restaurant. Go register the trademark, then find someone to create two specific plans based on this concept and send them to me within two days.”

”Also, you can start looking for locations in advance. We’ll open five locations first to test the waters, and if it goes well, we’ll expand the chain.”

Qi Fei looked down at the proposal in his hand. A chain? They didn’t even have a single store yet, and he was already thinking about a chain?

And opening five to test the waters? If they lost money, wouldn’t they lose it on five stores at once!

Qi Fei felt Lu Qingyu was being too impulsive, but before he could speak, Lu Qingyu said, ”Sorry to trouble you, Brother Qi. I have an event tomorrow morning, so I’m going to sleep first.”

Bang! The door closed.

Qi Fei stood at the door looking completely dazed. He even took two seconds to react. What did he come here for? Right, he came to discuss the hot pot restaurant proposal with Lu Qingyu.

But wasn’t he supposed to persuade Lu Qingyu? Ah, no chance now!

Qi Fei could only take the proposal back with him. Once he got back, he carefully read through its contents.

Originally, Qi Fei didn’t think much of Lu Qingyu’s proposal. He was an artist; it was one thing if he knew how to invest, but he could write a proposal too?

As it turned out, one look at it made Qi Fei himself excited.

This hot pot restaurant had to be opened, and they needed to lay the groundwork for the market. He believed that even if the competition in hot pot was fierce, they could rely on the Hot Pot Restaurant Chain concept to carve out a path to victory.

With the hot pot restaurant matter handed over to Qi Fei, Lu Qingyu resumed his busy life.

The next day, Su Jixing picked up Lu Qingyu to go to the company. In the car, he went over the schedule with Lu Qingyu.

Su Jixing looked at the memos on his phone and said:

”You have two acting classes in the morning. At 11:00, there’s an advertising promotion event. I’ve also booked an audition for a TV drama for you; we’ll go for the audition at 3:00 PM. If you can successfully land it, you’ll join the crew next week.”

”Is that okay?”

Lu Qingyu replied, ”That’s fine, Brother Su. No problem at all.”

Lu Qingyu had already finished one round of acting classes. His acting teacher suggested that besides attending classes, he could try taking on some supporting roles in TV dramas.

Theory should be combined with practice for better learning results. So, Su Jixing filtered through some dramas for Lu Qingyu. It just so happened there was a decent Class-A drama recently, so Su Jixing sent an audition request, and it was approved.

Su Jixing had bought breakfast, intending for Lu Qingyu to eat it in the car.

The paper bag contained four buns, four eggs, two cups of soy milk, and one fried dough stick.

Su Jixing’s intention was for Lu Qingyu to pick first, and he and the driver would share the rest. After hearing the schedule from Su Jixing, Lu Qingyu ate the four eggs and four buns.

Su Jixing hadn’t looked up while speaking, and he turned his head away after finishing the schedule. When Lu Qingyu handed the breakfast bag back to Su Jixing, the weight of the bag made Su Jixing unable to believe it.

Su Jixing: ??? He peeked into the bag. Damn, the eggs were gone, and the buns were gone too.

The car stopped, and Lu Qingyu took another cup of soy milk. ”Brother Su, you don’t need to buy so much next time. I can’t finish it all.”

Su Jixing: !!! Big brother, this wasn’t bought based on your appetite alone!

Su Jixing looked at the driver, then silently handed the remaining cup of soy milk and the fried dough stick to him.

”Master, have a little something to tide you over.”

The driver smiled as he took the breakfast. ”Thanks, Brother Su.”

Su Jixing accompanied Lu Qingyu to class on an empty stomach. After arriving at the company, Lu Qingyu went to his first class.

Su Jixing handled some business first. After drinking a cup of coffee, he also felt hungry, so he ordered takeout.

An order of small steamed buns and a cup of soy milk.

Half an hour later, the takeout arrived. The receptionist Young Lady delivered the takeout to Su Jixing’s office, but before he had a chance to eat, Chen Ting called him for a short meeting.

After Su Jixing left the office, Lu Qingyu finished his first class. He had a fifteen-minute break, so he went to Su Jixing’s office. His eyes lit up when he saw the takeout.

”Brother Su is so thoughtful, he even got me an extra meal.”

So Lu Qingyu ate the takeout, leaving only one small steamed bun for Su Jixing.

When Su Jixing returned and saw only one left in such a large container on his desk: ???

”Xiao Xin, who came into my office just now?”

Xiao Xin at the door replied, ”Qingyu came to look for you just now. You weren’t in, so he stayed for five minutes and then left.”

Su Jixing: !!!

After participating in the event at noon, Su Jixing took Lu Qingyu to the audition.

Lu Qingyu didn’t pay attention to where they were going. When they arrived at the location, they went through the side door and took the elevator up to the sixteenth floor.

The role they were auditioning for today was the male third lead in this drama. Su Jixing gave him two A4 sheets: one introduced the character’s background, and the other contained the lines.

Su Jixing had brought Lu Qingyu thirty minutes early; he wanted to leave half an hour for Lu Qingyu to memorize the lines.

When they arrived, there were already over twenty actors in the waiting room, both male and female. They were all sitting there looking over the characters they were auditioning for.

Lu Qingyu hadn’t taken off his mask. Everyone else was busy pondering their own audition characters, so they didn’t pay much attention to him.

Lu Qingyu had already memorized it after reading it twice. He stretched his neck and let his gaze wander around. With this glance, he suddenly felt something was off.

Why did the decor of this room look so familiar? Especially the stone carvings of mountains and rivers on the wall, and the calligraphy inscription.

Lu Qingyu stood up and looked around with a purpose. Then, at a glance, he saw the logo on the wall. Damn, Qingcheng Entertainment!
