Entertainment: Wanted to Acquire the Company on the First Day of Signing

52: Lu Qingyu jumped off the buildingLu Qingyu picked up one of the livestreaming phones and asked the Host, ”Do you have a Selfie Stand?”

Their downtown store had three floors in total and was very large. The Host thought that when Lu Qingyu mentioned running, he meant running a few laps indoors at most, and felt that this artist was quite cooperative.

”Yes, let me install it for you.”

Sun Yiru and Su Jixing stood on the periphery of the livestream, completely unaware that Lu Qingyu was about to cause trouble.

There was only one mobile device for the livestream; the other was a large-screen version, making it convenient for the Host and fans to see themselves and the bullet comments on the screen.

Once Lu Qingyu took the phone down, only Lu Qingyu could be seen on the large screen.

Lu Qingyu first rotated his ankles, doing some warm-up exercises, and even took off the chain around his neck.

Lu Qingyu kindly reminded the fans and viewers, ”You must do warm-up exercises before exercising, otherwise, you might injure your knees and ankles.”

Bullet comments: ”He’s just running a few steps for show, how could he get hurt?”

”Little brother’s warm-up is so thorough, but I think it’s a bit too much. You probably don’t need all this for a normal run.”

”He’s been warming up for almost ten minutes. Is he trying to stall for time so he can finish sooner?”

”Just walking a few steps won’t test the performance of these shoes anyway, so forget it.”

While everyone was talking, Lu Qingyu finished his warm-up. At the third-floor livestream site, Sun Yiru, Su Jixing, the Host, and the onlookers all watched Lu Qingyu, waiting for him to finish after running a couple of laps.

The staircase inside the Freedom store was a circular spiral staircase, with a chandelier hanging from the third-floor ceiling, casting a light logo of the Freedom brand onto the first-floor ground.

After finishing his warm-up, Lu Qingyu picked up the phone and said to the 700,000 people in the livestream room, ”Are you ready?”

Everyone was wondering what they needed to prepare for a run, but in the next moment...

”Holy shit, where is he?”

”Holy shit, Lu Qingyu jumped off the building!”

”Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit.”

Cameraman Brother had just gotten ready to follow Lu Qingyu for a couple of laps to gather footage for editing, but his hand slipped, and he almost dropped the multi-million dollar equipment on the ground.

Everyone at the scene was stunned. Sun Yiru was completely dazed, her brain short-circuiting for a moment.

Coming back to their senses, they felt a wave of panic. It was over; an accident had happened on their set.

”Did Lu Qingyu just jump off the building?”

”Wouldn’t he break his bones falling from such a height?”

Exclamations came from downstairs, and Su Jixing’s heart felt as if it were being crushed with fear.

Even though it was only a few steps away, Su Jixing’s legs were trembling so much they felt weak.

If Lu Qingyu fell like this, what if he hit his head?

But when he reached the staircase and looked down, there was no one!

Su Jixing: ??? Where is he?

The Host pointed at the large screen of the feedback device, stuttering for the first time.

”He r-r-ran away.”

Everyone immediately crowded around the livestream device and saw Lu Qingyu running through the streets holding the livestream camera.

The fans originally gathered on the first floor also didn’t expect their idol to descend from the sky one day. They had just cried out in surprise at seeing him in person when Lu Qingyu flew out.

That’s right, he flew out. He didn’t take the steps of the store, which were over a meter high, but flew out from inside with a backflip.

The live feed device had a delay. When Su Jixing and Sun Yiru looked, they happened to see that backflip.

Holy shit!

Su Jixing and Sun Yiru looked at each other, both unable to hide their inner shock and panic.

Sun Yiru’s gaze seemed to say, ”Is this your artist?”

Su Jixing was guilty and nervous: ”I-I guess so.”

Even Sun Yiru, who never swore, couldn’t help herself. Is this fucking real?

Su Jixing suddenly remembered what Lu Qingyu had said in the car, and he was now terrified.

Sun Yiru was the first to react. Because the number of viewers in Lu Qingyu’s livestream room suddenly surged, she excitedly realized that her opportunity might have come.

”Quick, go after him!”

Sun Yiru said to Cameraman Brother. Cameraman Brother was a bit flustered: ”Where do I go to catch him?”

Sun Yiru stamped her foot and then started her own mobile livestream: ”Follow me.”

Then, a large group of people grandly exited the Freedom store to chase Lu Qingyu, and the fans who finally reacted also began to give chase.

Lu Qingyu officially began his Parkour.

And that backflip with the phone just now had left everyone in the livestream room dazed.

”Did the phone just fall on the ground?”

”Wasn’t he on the third floor? How did he get outdoors in less than three seconds?”

”We were just talking, are you really running?”

”Hey, there’s no road ahead, stop quickly!”

When Lu Qingyu came, he had already scouted the distance from the Freedom store to the park while in the car. It was a stretch of road with about five or six winding curves, but the path Lu Qingyu ran wasn’t curved; it was straight.

If something was in the way, he just ”ran” right over it.

Lu Qingyu’s hand holding the Selfie Stick was very steady, trying his best to prevent the screen from shaking up and down due to his movement.

Then, what everyone saw was Lu Qingyu’s feet moving as if they had grown wings. Occasionally, he would use the Selfie Stick as a central axis and fly through the air to make a circle.

”My god, is there no gravity on him?”

”Newton would have to rewrite his Third Law if he saw him.”

”666, in a place where I’d struggle just to walk normally, he just glides right through.”

Sun Yiru and the others saw Lu Qingyu but couldn’t catch up. Lu Qingyu was running above while they could only take detours to chase him. Finally, Sun Yiru got an Electric Scooter and took Cameraman Brother to chase Lu Qingyu.

Su Jixing was even worse off; he didn’t have an Electric Scooter and was running in circles.

There were too many people chasing Lu Qingyu. Passersby couldn’t help but take out their phones to film:

”Why are so many people running over there?”

”Was there some kind of traffic accident?”

”No way, is it a marriage proposal?”

”Looks like someone’s running away from a wedding to me.”

”Nah, they must be filming a movie.”

The number of people in Lu Qingyu’s livestream room shot up directly to 1.5 million. Sun Yiru was excited as she chased Lu Qingyu.

There were various fitness facilities in the park. After Lu Qingyu entered, he headed straight for a Canal.

The Canal area usually attracted many Parkour enthusiasts who practiced there in groups of five to eight.

They were just about to start running when they saw Lu Qingyu whiz past.

The youth at the head of the group felt a gust of wind whip past him.

Huh? Challenging us? Let’s go, brothers!
