The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 349: Chapter 161 Villain vs Savior (12)_3

”This great enterprise, during its process, will inevitably require some sacrifices. And Dr. Gu is doing this purely for the sake of all humanity, not because of personal enmity!”

At the end of the day, a blade that hasn’t cut oneself feels different, and as a Fire-element Superpower User himself,

he not only did not find Gu Nan’s experimenting on Superpower Users terrifying and anti-human, but rather viewed him as a hero to all humanity, the true Savior.

However, the words the Fire-element Superpower User used to defend the ”Savior” went in one ear and out the other for Gu Bei and Xiao Ruobing.

They were extremely excited at the moment, especially Gu Bei, who had struggled in the apocalypse for more than two months, experiencing the warmth and coldness of human relationships, as well as the oppression and humiliation of villains and scum.

After becoming a Superpower User, he personally felt the importance of power.

Now, hearing that his only brother had become such an awesome figure, there was only one thought in his heart: Great! Finally, I have a backer!

Xiao Ruobing’s thoughts were similar; she just wanted to hurry to Hope Base to seek refuge with Gu Nan, and then lead a rich, stable, dignified life.

Oh, that’s right, if their big brother really was as impressive as outsiders proclaimed and had become the savior of the apocalypse,

then, didn’t this mean they could use their big brother’s power to take their revenge?

”Bro, I almost never got to see you again!”

”Wuwu, that He Xiaotian from North City, he’s just scum. He not only made advances on Ruobing but also, also tormented me in every possible way!”

”...That’s right, Brother Nan, Gu Bei and I barely managed to escape. That scum tried to harm us and even, even killed many innocent survivors.”

After more than half a month, and nearly four months into the apocalypse, Gu Bei and Xiao Ruobing finally found the soul of Hope Base, Gu Nan.

When the two brothers met, Gu Bei embraced his big brother and sobbed uncontrollably.

First they talked about their old home in the villa district, and the speculation that their parents and the neighboring Xiao couple may have been casualties.

To this, Gu Nan actually had more definite news, ”I sent people to look for them at home, our dad turned into a zombie, our mom—”

”Uncle Xiao and his wife were bitten by the mutated dog at home and then died without treatment!”

So it was a total wipeout!

Though they had already guessed the outcome, hearing these words from Gu Nan still made Gu Bei and Xiao Ruobing cry uncontrollably.

They cried their hearts out for quite a while, until Gu Nan started to get impatient, and then the two finally began to stop their wailing.

Then it was time to complain!

Arriving at Hope Base, they felt the respect for Gu Nan from everyone, from Superpower Users to ordinary people, and Ga Bei and company formed a deep understanding of their big brother’s status.

Moreover, with the promotion of the Zombie Virus Medicine, this respect would spread from a small Hope Base to the entire country, and even to the whole world!

Big brother is the Savior!

Gu Bei didn’t throw his weight around just because of his identity, which was already evidence of his restraint and kindness.

Now, he just wanted to ask his big brother for a little help with revenge, which shouldn’t be a big problem, right?

Xiao Ruobing was on the same page as Gu Bei, and when he mentioned He Xiaotian, she quickly chimed in.

Gu Nan: ...as a transmigrator, he truly had little affection for a cheap younger brother whom he had never really spent time with.

However, since he inherited the original host’s body and identity, he naturally had to bear the corresponding karma.

Gu Bei, this younger brother, was the only blood relative of the original host.

Besides, Gu Bei wasn’t asking him to commit atrocities; he just wanted to teach a lesson to a beast who took advantage of the apocalypse to reign as king and harm the weak, which Gu Nan didn’t find particularly off-putting.

”Alright! I’ve got it!”

”Dare to harm my, Gu Nan’s, younger brother, and I definitely won’t let him off!”

”He Xiaotian, right? Just a minor character!”

As the owner of the Villain Reform System, Gu Nan was familiar with the plot.

And in the plot he had read, there indeed seemed to be a top-grade scum, who even seemed to have tortured Gu Bei to death.

Although the current developments were somewhat different from the plot, it didn’t matter anymore.

He was able to produce the Zombie Virus vaccine ahead of time thanks to the system, and the original male lead, Gong Yan, had not shown up at Hope Base, which meant the plot was already affected by the butterfly effect.

A few more minor changes were normal.

Gu Bei did not die in the Demon Cave of B City, but still made the request for ”revenge,” so it wasn’t a complete deviation from the plot.

Because if Gu Bei had died, Gu Nan would definitely have sought revenge for him.

”Dr. Gu, we can take care of this kind of thing for you without you having to lift a finger!”

The news that the only relative of Dr. Gu was nearly murdered by a scumbag spread quickly, and countless Superpower Users, including those from Hope Base, who wanted to exchange for medicines from Gu Nan, stepped forward to express their stance.

In order to ingratiate themselves with Gu Nan, they even hurried to North City Base in B City in groups.

Of course, a piece of information inadvertently revealed by Gu Bei—”North City Base has tens of tons of supplies”—also stirred the hearts of the Superpower Users!

The folks originally thought this would be an easy trip with dual gains, but when they finally arrived at North City of B City after much difficulty and an arduous month and a half journey, and saw that well-organized and tightly guarded base, they were instantly dumbfounded...
