The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 346: Chapter 160 Villain vs Savior (11)_3

”Heavenly King is wise, long live the Heavenly King! We will heed all of the Heavenly King’s decisions!”

Completely snapped to his senses, Liang Yong broke out in a cold sweat.

Chilled by the wind, he couldn’t help but shiver.

He dared not entertain any other thoughts and plopped down to kneel on the ground, calling out with immense piety and respect.

Other young people were quick to react as well, promptly following in Liang Yong’s footsteps, shouting ”Heavenly King is wise”, ”long live the Heavenly King”!

The chaotic and frenzied scene was brought under control, with He Tiantian deliberately showing a smug smile.

”Haha, good! Good! You, you you you...”

He Tiantian stood on the podium, extending a finger, pointing in mid-air at Liang Yong and some twenty or thirty young men, ”You have all passed my Heavenly King’s test, you’ve done quite well!”

A test?!

Liang Yong’s heart jolted, suddenly realizing that Heavenly King He could easily have killed Zhang Cheeng, Ma Kui, and the others ”himself.” But ”he” allowed a group of old, weak, sick, and disabled to beat these villains to death.

It turns out, Heavenly King He wasn’t merely disinterested in sullying his own hands or wanting the victims to have satisfying revenge... but it was a test.

All of a sudden, the image of ”He Xiaothian” as the Demon Lord of Mayhem grew immense in the minds of Liang Yong and the others,

Becoming unfathomable, akin to the true Superiors.

”From today onwards, you will become members of my Heavenly King Guard.”

He Tiantian continued with an air of certainty and confidence, painting a grand future for the group of young men:

”I will personally teach you Martial Arts, and distribute weapons to you!”

”In addition, apart from the Heavenly King Guard, I will also select Base Guards. It doesn’t matter if you’re a bit older, as I am confident in training you all to be great heroes with exceptional Martial Arts!”

The way He Tiantian displayed confidence, not in the least afraid of ”teaching his students only to go hungry himself,” made Liang Yong and the others even more wary.

Heavenly King He must possess extremely high-level Martial Arts, which is why he does not fear being surpassed by the newcomers.

When one’s strength is great to a certain extent, they truly fear nothing.

And for them, mere commoners, it’s best to earnestly follow the Heavenly King, learn Martial Arts, kill zombies, and struggle to survive the apocalypse.

”Thank you, Heavenly King!”

Liang Yong led a group of young people, all chanting in unison.

”Good! As for those who did evil but whose crimes do not warrant death~~”

He Tiantian hadn’t forgotten about that gang of small hooligans who aided and abetted villains, pausing for a moment before slowly saying, ”Well, you may be spared the death penalty, but you cannot escape punishment for your crimes!”

”To atone for your sins, you will undergo reformation through labor at the Northern City Base!”

”... Groups of ten, either follow the Master to the steel plant for smelting, or go to the outskirts to clear construction debris and build walls, or start cultivating wastelands around the Central Zone!”

In any case, until He Tiantian restored the health of the old, weak, women, and children at the base, these hooligans would serve as the labor force.

”Thank you, Heavenly King! Thank you for sparing our lives!”

The grisly fate of Zhang Cheeng, Ma Kui, and the others was right before their eyes; the gang was scared out of their wits.

Originally thinking they were doomed, they never expected there might be a chance to cling to life.

To be a laborer?

To undergo reformation through labor?

No problem, just a bit of work, being alive is already very good.

They really couldn’t afford to ask for too much.

Having found a prime labor force, He Tiantian started to redraw the plans for the base.

The Central Zone was, of course, preserved, storing twenty to thirty tons of materials, vital to the foundation of the base.

Around the Central Zone, He Tiantian ordered the haphazardly built shacks and broken houses to be dismantled, moving over the containers from other factory areas.

Arranged around the Central Zone, people were allocated homes or individual units, moving the original survivors into the containers.

With the planning in place and containers neatly arranged, there was still extra room after settling the ”residents.”

Consequently, He Tiantian allowed the Heavenly King Guard and their families to move in as well.

The ”Second Ring” is made of containers, while the ”third ring” is cultivated land.

Although not yet formally cultivated, He Tiantian has already demarcated the agricultural area.

Outside the fields, high walls are built, and within, is the ”Inner City” of Northern City Base.

This old industrial park had no shortage of factories and various scrap metals.

He Tiantian had people dismantle the unnecessary factories, using the bricks, slabs, and other materials for wall construction.

The city wall must be tall and strong, not only to withstand zombies but also to anticipate other forces.

Outside the city wall, there are several greenhouses serving as quarantine points before entering the city or as temporary dwellings for incoming survivors.

This area is the Outer City, with not only greenhouses but also discarded and obsolete cars, broken machinery, and so forth piled up to act as a barrier.

Beyond the waste, there’s another wall; this was originally the industrial park’s main gate, but He Tiantian plans to reinforce and heighten it.

Under Heavenly King He’s planning and with a clear reward and punishment system in place, all base personnel threw themselves into the fervent construction effort...
