The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 316: Chapter 150: Villain VS Savior (Part 3)

Indeed, just as Zhou Zixuen had said, Director Feng was a big shot in the film industry, and his female leads always had a very prominent title—Jing Girl.

”How could a top-tier director like Feng Jing know about me, and even invite me to audition?”

He Tiantian already had her suspicions, but she still pretended to be puzzled and asked.

”Of course, it’s because of our performance at the school sports meeting opening ceremony.”

Zhou Zixuen stated matter-of-factly, recalling the scene with excitement even now.

”Tiantian, don’t you know it yourself? Your performance that day was absolutely stunning, beautiful and cool, the camera effects were as good as any celebrity!”

The key was that He Tiantian truly had a foundation in martial arts, and she was only seventeen, good-looking, too.

Zhou Zixuen gestured towards He Tiantian’s face with two fingers, nodding, her face small and exquisite, her features very distinguishable, especially her transformation potential.

Particularly, He Tiantian’s eyes seemed to speak, brimming with spiritual energy, instantly revealing her as a person with stories.

Truly a movie-star face.

No wonder Director Feng had set his sights on He Tiantian through a video clip and reached out to Mrs. Zhou through his connections.

Upon hearing that Director Feng wanted He Tiantian to play the female lead in his new movie, Zhou Zixuen was even happier than if she herself had been chosen.

She immediately ran to tell He Tiantian, enthusiastically promoting, ”Tiantian, it’s just about a month away. Director Feng has said that all other roles are finalized; they’re just waiting for the female lead!”

As long as He Tiantian agreed, they could start shooting soon.

Perhaps they could finish the film during the winter break.

And with this filming experience, He Tiantian could smoothly break into the entertainment industry.

Being a celebrity was great—glamorous and lucrative.

Most importantly, it would allow her to leave the county, a small place, for a much broader world.

Of course, Zhou Zixuen believed that He Tiantian could succeed by taking the college entrance exam.

But if there was a shortcut available, why not try it?

After all, it was another path toward the peak of life.

”Tiantian, just give it a try. I feel like you won’t have any problems. Even if you don’t end up in the entertainment industry, shooting a film with Director Feng would be a wonderful memory!”

Zhou Zixuen promoted it energetically, knowing that He Tiantian could work as an interpreter, but becoming a star was indeed a dream many young people harbored.

”...Trying it out could be good!”

He Tiantian thought it over, feeling that making a movie would also be a great experience.

Though she could experience different lives in the world of novels, real life and acting were entirely different.

And also, He Tiantian always felt that every new attempt was a form of growth for her.

Experiencing more would allow her to learn more things that she might one day use in her tasks in the world of novels.

Skills never burden the bearer!

Venturing into different fields and gaining entirely different insights were not a disadvantage for her.

However, there was one issue: ”I’m still a minor, if I pass the audition, I’ll need a guardian’s signature to sign a contract!”

Her guardians were a complicated topic.

Her aunt had moved her household registration back to her biological parents, who, due to He Tiantian’s ”rebelliousness,” had grown to despise her.

He Tiantian wasn’t sure if they would cooperate when she asked them to sign.

”...” Born into a happy family, with parents who loved her, Zhou Zixuen couldn’t comprehend that some people don’t love their own children.

She couldn’t truly empathize with the hurt that He Tiantian had suffered from her original family.

Thinking of He Tiantian’s background, and then of the rumors, abuse, and disdain He Tiantian had endured, Zhou Zixuen didn’t know what to say.

”I’ll just go and try, Director Feng only asked me to audition; he didn’t confirm me as the female lead yet!”

Seeing Zhou Zixuen change from excitement to dejection in a second, He Tiantian, feeling a bit sorry for her, responded with a smile.

The situation with her biological parents was indeed tricky, but not insurmountable, only if He Tiantian was willing.

Seeing how much Zhou Zixuen cared for her, He Tiantian thought trying wouldn’t hurt.

Thus, through Mrs. Zhou, He Tiantian contacted Director Feng and set up an audition time.

Perhaps thinking again about her irresponsible biological parents, or perhaps due to the new endeavor, He Tiantian unexpectedly felt a sense of emptiness.

”Xiao D, Xiao D, let’s go on a mission!”

”Okay!”

Student Xiao D cutely replied.

Then, the space before He Tiantian twisted, and she opened her eyes again.

Whoosh!

An ice cone came stabbing directly towards her face.

He Tiantian barely had time to react before the sharp ice blade penetrated her throat...
