The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 342: Chapter 159: Villain VS Savior (Part 10)_2

That lewd, sinister gaze, that disrespectful attitude, Xiao Ruobing despised them to the core.

Now, her fiancé had also become a high and mighty Superpower User, and she finally had the chance for revenge for the humiliation she had once suffered!

Without a word, just one phrase — beat the hell out of them!

Xiao Ruobing didn’t interfere with Gu Bei, but rather looked forward with anticipation to watching her own fiancé show his prowess.

Gu Bei didn’t disappoint her expectations either; swiftly and decisively, several Ice Cones flew out, and two street gangsters were killed on the spot.

Zhang Cheeng reacted quickly, dodging just in time.

The last henchman was shrewd; after being pierced through the shoulder blade with an Ice Cone, he took advantage of his falling posture to play dead on the ground.

Gu Bei continued to throw Ice Cones at Zhang Cheeng, who managed to dodge them clumsily with his years of street fighting experience.

Although he avoided the fatal attacks, his face, arms, and legs were all bloody.

Seeing Zhang Cheeng, covered with blood and fleeing in a sorry state, Gu Bei felt a sense of release from the pent-up resentment and frustration within him.

There was a moment when Gu Bei could even relish the joy of ”a cat playing with a mouse.”

No, this won’t do!

Such thoughts were too dangerous. I, Gu Bei, am a well-bred young man from a wealthy family with good moral values. How could I become as twisted and perverted as Scumbag He?

He shook his head forcibly, discarding those ridiculous thoughts; Gu Bei didn’t want to waste any more time and concentrated on ending Zhang Cheeng’s misery quickly.

Just at this moment, the zombies on the highway, drawn by the commotion, started shuffling over with their harrowing cries.

”Gu Bei, let’s get out of here quickly!”

Xiao Ruobing felt a surge of fear upon seeing those disgusting creatures and didn’t care anymore about punishing scum like Zhang Cheeng; she quickly called out to Gu Bei.

Gu Bei had vented his frustrations enough and actually didn’t loathe Zhang Cheeng that deeply.

More than that, he was displacing his anger.

With the zombie horde closing in, Gu Bei, despite his Superpower, didn’t dare be overly confident.

He left Zhang Cheeng behind, grabbed Xiao Ruobing, and the two rushed towards the expressway with great speed.

Along the way, they found an unoccupied but still functional off-road vehicle. Gu Bei stuffed Xiao Ruobing into the passenger seat, gripped the steering wheel, floored the gas pedal, and the engine roared as they plowed through several vehicles blocking the way, bursting out swiftly.

The zombies, hearing the noise, began to chase in the direction of the off-road vehicle, inadvertently saving the severely injured Zhang Cheeng and the playacting henchman.

Once the zombies were on the highway, Zhang Cheeng struggled to his feet.

”Liu Er, stop playing dead, you motherfucker! I saw everything; you’ve only hurt your arm!”

”Hurry over here, my leg hurts like hell!”

Zhang Cheeng was covered with wounds, the most severe of which was deep to the bone.

He found it difficult to stand on his own strength and thus bellowed out.

The henchman, Liu Er, who had been pretending to be dead, cautiously opened his eyes, his eyeballs rolling around before realizing that the danger had cleared, then scrambled to his feet.

”Heh heh, Brother Cheeng, I wasn’t playing dead. My shoulder got pierced and I... I passed out from the pain!”

Liu Er approached Zhang Cheeng with a crooked smile, explaining as he drew near.

His shoulder was indeed injured, but it didn’t affect his mobility.

He supported Zhang Cheeng with his good arm.

But Zhang Cheeng’s injuries were too severe, and he was unable to exert any strength, transferring all of his body weight onto Liu Er.

Liu Er was already wounded and unstable; suddenly burdened with extra weight, he nearly stumbled and fell.

”Liu Er, you motherfucker, stand firm!” Zhang Cheeng himself was jolted and thumped with panic and anger, cursing uncontrollably.

Liu Er was displeased inside but didn’t dare show it on his face.

Knowing his boss Zhang Cheeng’s vicious character, as his henchman, Liu Er was extremely careful and kept apologizing, ”Sorry, Brother Cheeng, it’s all my fault for being useless!”

”Cut the crap and help me get back!”

Zhang Cheeng was pleased with Liu Er’s submissiveness. No matter what the kid thought, he wouldn’t dare defy him even if he had a hundred guts to do so.

Liu Er helped Zhang Cheeng towards the base. As soon as they entered the industrial park gate, Liu Er shouted, ”Brother Tian, it’s bad! There’s been an accident!”

”Brother Cheeng is injured; that pretty boy Gu Bei actually dared to oppose our Northern City Base!”
