The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 308: Chapter 148 Argument

”Pass the buck? Why? Didn’t she design a caption dance, hoping to have our entire Grade 2 Class 7 form the shape of ’70’?”

And this idea isn’t that bad either.

This year, County First Middle School is celebrating its 70th anniversary since the founding of the school, because the school’s anniversary is on October 30th.

The school leadership had postponed the autumn sports meeting, which was supposed to be held before October, and merged it with the school celebration day.

With the 70th anniversary celebration + the autumn sports meeting, such a major festival is not only valued by the school leadership but also has all teachers and students of each class eager to participate.

I heard that on that day, the county TV station would also send a reporter to interview.

The official account of County First Middle School would also stream it live.

”We must perform well, we really must perform well!”

It wasn’t just the teachers encouraging the students, the students themselves were all thrilled.

Now in an era that short videos reign supreme, even a simple exercise performance by students, as long as it is interesting enough, could go viral.

Everyone wants to become an internet sensation, everyone wants to gain traffic, and students and teachers of County First Middle School are no exception.

Apart from aiming for good results at the sports meet, the opening ceremony’s performance is also seen as a golden opportunity for each class to showcase themselves.

Zhou Zixuan is the arts and culture representative of High School Grade 2 Class 7 and is a well-known Little Talented Girl in the county.

Knowing the importance of this autumn sports meet opening ceremony, she volunteered to be the director of the opening ceremony performance without any hesitation.

She also designed the caption dance, forming shapes like ’70’, ’County First Middle School’, and so on based on the school celebration factor.

Teacher Fang and the classmates, after hearing about Zhou Zixuan’s design, felt it was quite good.

It could not only highlight the 70th anniversary of the school celebration but also showcase the coordination, unity, and solidarity of all the students in High School Grade 2 Class 7.

The plan was then set, and several class officers had already used class funds to purchase costumes and bouquets and other props as per Zhou Zixuan’s requests.

The class president had announced in the class group that starting from next Monday, all the students would go to the playground for practice.

Things were progressing smoothly, so why did Zhou Zixuen say Zhou Zixuan ”fell ill” just to pass the buck?

”You might not know, but the arts and sports representatives from Class 3 proposed having several students with specialties perform a Taekwondo show, with other students managing the formations!”

”The class president of Class 4 invited an expert from the county dance troupe to specifically design a gymnastic dance for their students.”

”The arts representative of Class 9 is a fan of comics; she usually likes COSPLAY and had arranged for many COSPLAY costumes through her friends for their class to have a huge comic exhibition celebration!”

”There’s also Class 10’s president, who apparently took students to the county gymnasium, carrying out rehearsals in secret, they’re definitely planning something big!”

”Though the students of Grade 3 are seniors about to graduate, they’re even more daring to play with unique and trendy concepts...”

”I heard some of the Grade 3 classes even thought of playing as a whole class of Naga, literally wearing patient suits to the event!”

Zhou Zixuen counted off these activities on her fingers.

Just hearing a bit, He Tiantian instantly understood: Each class at County First Middle School was brimming with creativity, thinking outside of the box.

Whether it was being professional, seeking novelty, visual effects, or sensory impact...

Anyway, in comparison, Zhou Zixuan’s caption dance just wasn’t as outstanding.

Zhou Zixuen, who was well-connected and always in the know, also mentioned, ”There are also a few other classes performing caption dances, but some are forming a pentagon, and some are forming letter shapes.”

No matter what they form, these are all caption dances, more or less similar.

With several similar acts, the set Zhou Zixuan designed for High School Grade 2 Class 7 was hard to make a splash.

Let alone go viral, it might not even cause a stir in the school.

And Zhou Zixuan is a proud and face-loving person; she was used to others’ praise and envy, accustomed to being the first or the most dazzling one.

She didn’t want to admit her idea wasn’t effective, nor did she want to be responsible if High School Grade 2 Class 7 couldn’t shine at the autumn sports meet opening ceremony.

But she couldn’t directly refuse, after all, she was a kind and wonderful little fairy.

”...Her illness, it really came at the right time! I heard the class president was furious, understandably so, since the clothes had already been bought, along with some ribbons for making bouquets.”

”Our class fund was completely spent, probably not enough, and the class president initially wanted to collect more from us!”

Now with the ”chief director” stepping down due to illness, whether the caption dance could go ahead was uncertain, no wonder the class president and some class officers were anxious.

”Faking illness” and the like were also shouted out by a class officer who couldn’t stand Zhou Zixuan’s affectations.
