Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

After a round of fierce arguing and cursing,

The Devouring Mouth still briefly reached a simple agreement with the Son of the Sea God before it.

But this time, it was obvious the Son of the Sea God would not be as stupid as he once was.

Ten thousand years of imprisonment and a life of escape had taught this former Son of God a lot, letting him taste the cruelty of the world.

”I can help you, but there is one condition you must fulfill. Hold a ritual for me and let me truly fall into the Abyss.

I want to bind my soul to the Abyss, so that even if I die here, my soul can return to the Abyss and be reborn.

I want to truly belong to the Abyss.”

”Looks like you’ve finally recognized reality. Trying to stand in the middle and please both sides was never going to be as easy as you thought.” Saying this, the Devouring Mouth couldn’t help but let out a laugh.

But it still nodded. ”No problem. In your current state, there’s almost no difference between you and one who’s already fallen into the Abyss, is there?

Once you truly fall into the Abyss, what you need to do is stir up calamity across the sea, clearing out all the ships heading to the World Scar to transport resources—whether they carry supplies or soldiers.”

The Son of the Sea God nodded; the deal was struck.

Then the Devouring Mouth personally held a fall ritual for the Son of the Sea God before it.

Clearly it had long been prepared, fully aware of what demands the Son of the Sea God would make, so everything was ready in advance.

Masses of Abyssal aura began gathering over this Island, and the only reason it could be completed was that this Island hiding him was concealed enough in itself.

The eruption of Abyssal aura, after being condensed for half a day, completely drove the Son of the Sea God down into the Abyss.

By now, the Son of the Sea God’s appearance had undergone an earthshaking change.

Bone spurs had grown out all over his exterior, and his original skin had turned a dark-red, leather-like hue.

His whole body had changed from pus-swollen to thin and elongated, like a sea serpent.

The overall swollen, pustular form became slender.

He looked more agile, more powerful, and more evil.

Countless tentacles became even more twisted and malicious, growing sharp along his body. The eyes that had already covered his head now began spreading down across his torso.

He had become a truly terrifying and bizarre deep-sea creature of the Abyss.

But for him, who had long since fallen, this ritual did not bring any great increase in strength; it merely bound his soul to the Abyss.

It only forced him to make a real choice.

After this, like those Demons, when he died his soul could return to the Abyss to be reborn.

He could also, like other Demons, pass through the Abyssal rifts and head to other worlds to commit atrocities.

”Finally... Father, watch closely. One day I will tear apart your Divine Domain and devour you.”

Listening to the Son of the Sea God’s declaration, the Devouring Mouth’s expression did not change at all.

”Congratulations, my new clansman.”

”All right, remember our deal. This time, there’s no path back for you anymore.” With that, the Devouring Mouth walked straight out.

It didn’t bother with the Son of the Sea God still floating in the seawater, examining his new state.

As soon as it stepped outside, the Devouring Mouth suddenly stiffened.

”Why would They come here? Did that idiot expose himself? No, that’s not right. No matter how stupid he is, he knows how to hide.

He’s hidden here for so long; if he hadn’t deliberately exposed himself, I wouldn’t have found him. Even the Sea God couldn’t locate his exact trail.

It’s impossible he got exposed this casually. Then how did They find this place?”

”Was it the Sea God, or the help of the Four Divine Powers?”

The Devouring Mouth stood there, not sure what it was thinking about.

After a moment, a smile crept onto its face, and with a slightly pitying look it glanced back toward the cave.

”Looks like it’s your bad luck—nothing to be done about that. Still, having you here to stall them for a while is useful. Shame you ended up wasting my time.”

Already able to foresee what was going to happen next, the Devouring Mouth shrugged helplessly, though the anger and irritation in its eyes were impossible to hide.

Because its plan had once again gone awry; this stretch of effort had gone to waste, and the power just expended on the ritual was likewise squandered.

Who knows what it was thinking as it vanished from where it stood through a Teleportation Gate beneath its feet shaped like a worm’s mouth.

What it had sensed was precisely Alka and the others, who had already reached the outer storm.

They stared at the storm swirling continuously before them, and the reefs hidden within the storm.

”That Son of the Sea God is hiding in there? He’s really dug deep, choosing a place like this.” Pororo stood on the deck, looking ahead as he spoke.

At this moment Chadite said, ”It’s more than that. The environment around here is off. My silver ripples can barely obtain any information.”

Beside him, Julia said, ”The environment around here is a concealed chaos. That’s probably why this Son of the Sea God chose it.

This place naturally evades detection and hides one’s presence.”

This couldn’t help but make everyone wonder how Alka had managed to find such a place at a glance.

But They didn’t dwell on it.

Alka took out the azure Gale Card and used it to control the storm, tearing open a fissure. Sound of Dawn shot through the storm and slipped inside, then wove around the reefs in the sea and covertly arrived at the edge of the Island.
