Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”Another group heading to the World Scar?” Julia said silently as she watched from the deck.

Chadite, standing next to her, nodded.

As expected, it should be them.

Every time they approached an island lately, they could witness such scenes.

Clearly, the Divine’s proclamation had already appeared worldwide.

”We will soon reach our destination... Do we need to awaken Alka?” Juanlu asked as he came over.

There were still half a day’s journey left to the destination.

Chadite thought for a moment, then nodded, ”I’ll do it.”

With that, he headed to Alka’s room.

Upon entering the room, he saw Alka lying flat on the bed.

He walked over and sat beside him, gently patting him.

After a while, Alka opened his eyes and awoke from the bed.

”Are we there yet?”

Chadite nodded, continuing to gaze at Alka. Lucilia also phased through the wall from outside, looking at Alka at that moment.

”The link between your soul and body is growing distant.”

Hearing Lucilia’s words, Alka nodded, having already prepared for this.

This was Alka’s decision. Chadite and Lucilia looked at each other, unable to persuade him otherwise.

They could only accept it as it was.

Alka got up from the bed, and after getting dressed, he went onto the deck with the two.

Just as they emerged, they saw the ship already sailing away into the distance.

Blinking while observing the ship, Alka roughly understood.

”This is the third Tower of Trial, and it’s not under the Church’s control.

Since there isn’t a strong force in this area, only medium and weak forces scattered around.

This Tower of Trial is controlled by an Ocean Race community.

It’s said that this community also operates as a band of pirates.

Due to their nature as an Ocean Race, the local forces have no great means to handle them.

As for now, most powerful forces have headed to the World Scar, leaving no solution to eradicate them.”

Hearing Alka’s words, Jason looked at him and said, ”So if they don’t hand it over, we can use force to resolve it, while also eliminating a scourge from these parts?”

Alka nodded at that.

”That’s correct. However, one must proceed cautiously. Intelligence suggests this deep-sea bandit isn’t as simple as it appears. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to exist here for so long without being completely eradicated.”

After hearing this, everyone nodded, grasping the idea.

This time, the location of the Tower of Trial will not be within some island chain but rather on an island isolated overseas.

After all, every island with a Tower of Trial can be regarded as a Landmark Island.

Just like the Trial Island Alka and they had encountered before.

This also explains why the pirates have occupied the island this time.

Such a sizable Landmark Island, with a Tower of Trial, high Magic Power intensity, and no surrounding islands linked to it, suspended at sea, is simply the best pirate stronghold.

Soon they saw the island where the Tower of Trial was located from afar.

Apparently, they were also detected by those on the island.

Pororo stood on the deck, glancing at the water below, ”They’re already beneath us, should we initiate an attack?”

Hearing this, Alka pondered for a moment, ”No rush, Sound of Dawn, if they exhibit any aggression, bind them underwater immediately.”

The bird on the tree branch nodded its head.

Soon they sensed the underwater movements, those Ocean Race members trying to bore through the ship’s bottom were tightly bound by roots emerging from under the bed.

Through the vines relaying section by section, there were a total of 6 pirates.

Upon seeing the appearance of this Ocean Race group, everyone froze in place.

They never expected the so-called Ocean Race to be deep-sea Naga like Matilda.

Even Matilda herself was stunned.

Then her eyes flashed with a thoughtful expression, apparently recalling something. With a furrowed brow, her face gradually turned grim.

”It’s you... so it’s you, you shameful traitors, die!”

Matilda suddenly erupted in fury.

Controlling each vine, she shot them straight out, completely binding the Ocean Race.

Yet those Nagas continued speaking to Matilda.

”You’re with these foreigners against your kind? Have you betrayed your own people?”

”Let me go now and kill these humans.”

Though there were some differences in their physical features, they could still be recognized as the same race.

This is why the other side assumed Matilda was one of their own.

”Betrayal? Your cowardly ancestors betrayed the Divine, us, and even the world.”

Through their exchange, Alka and the others instantly understood something.

Because their first thought was of the place they first encountered Matilda.

Matilda’s race had been punished by the Sea God for an immense sin they committed, forced to remain there.

Unless they made amends for their wrongdoings.
