Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 386: Chapter 212 Mastering the Ring of Light

Inside the lower deck of the Sound of Dawn, in the room specifically used as an infirmary.

The iron plate originally used to hold Simon had already been thrown out by them.

A simple touch wouldn’t bring Simon out of Stagnation, so the group placed him on the hospital bed.

Currently, there were only four people in the room: Alka, Juanlu, and Julia. The last one was Two, standing on Alka’s shoulder.

She would serve as the final backup measure. The Silver Threads on her body, and the Spell, [Threads], that Alka had solidified on her, would allow her to swiftly stitch up the large wounds on Simon’s body.

At this moment, clear tension appeared on Two’s face, her hands tightly clenched.

This was the first task she had truly taken seriously since her creation.

Alka looked at her and smiled. ”No need to be nervous,” he said.

”But I don’t know any medical skills.”

”You just need to follow Julia’s instructions. Besides, your help might not necessarily be needed, but having you here is more reassuring.”

”If you’re really nervous, you can try taking a deep breath,” Alka comforted her.

Deep breathing can indeed slightly alleviate nervousness.

”But... but I’m a doll! I don’t need to breathe!”

”...” Alka silently turned his head away.

Alright then.

He looked at Julia and Juanlu and asked, ”How is it? Are you ready?”

They both nodded.

Behind Julia, a Ring of Light appeared, from which four ribbons floated out. These four ribbons were specially processed, each only as wide as an arm.

Normally, each ribbon would be about the width of a head.

Julia began to lightly hum a gentle and soft melody, though she hadn’t started singing fully yet.

Meanwhile, a tube had already appeared in Juanlu’s hand, connected to a jar filled with dark-green concentrated nutrient fluid.

Once the Stagnation state was lifted, he would insert the tube into Simon’s throat, quickly infusing the nutrient fluid into his body.

Then, using their family’s unique Spell, [Rapid Digestion], he would help Simon’s body digest and absorb the Energy.

Seeing that both of them were completely prepared, Alka approached Simon’s bedside.

The fastest way to release him from Stagnation was naturally to remove the Treasure affixed to his back; otherwise, it would be impossible to cut off the supply of Magic Power.

This Treasure seemed to be in some sort of state, protecting its host, and Alka was trying to see if he could gently remove it.

As his hand gently reached out and pinched the Treasure, which resembled a construct’s finger, a strong rejection once again surged from the Dream Catcher within him.

Similarly, the Treasure also emitted strong repulsive fluctuations, resisting Alka’s touch.

This wasn’t because the Treasure was unsuitable, but because it already had its own master, hence the repulsive waves.

Alka furrowed his eyebrows and applied a little force, extending his Magic Power. Using the Magic Power from his Mirror Surface and Dream Catcher, he attempted to forcibly suppress the Treasure and remove it.

As his Magic Power pierced it, something seemed to activate, stunning Alka for a moment.

This caused the Magic Power he had extended to vanish instantly.

”What’s wrong?” Julia, who was constantly observing the situation, asked.

Alka’s gaze regained clarity. ”It’s nothing,” he said. ”I think I understand now. Get ready, I’m going to take it off.”

As he spoke, the Hand of Precision appeared on his right arm, completely encasing his hand.

With the influx of Magic Power, the Hand of Precision began to vibrate, and then the emblem of the Holy Machine Church appeared on its palm.

This emblem was lightly pressed onto the Treasure, and instantly, Alka flawlessly removed it with the Hand of Precision.

After removing it, Alka immediately retreated two steps, yielding space to Julia and Juanlu.

With the removal of the Treasure, the gray, transparent film enveloping Simon began to flicker.

The severance of the Magic Power supply caused the film to struggle to maintain its form.

A few seconds later, the film shattered and dissipated like a bubble.

The instant it dispersed, Simon’s tightly closed eyes snapped open. His brows knitted tightly, and he was about to cry out in pain.

”AAAAH!”

Blood gushed from the wounds on his body as if a floodgate had been opened.

The four ribbons, already prepared nearby, immediately flew out, and Julia’s gentle song was softly sung.

Green Energy swiftly surged into Simon’s wounds along the ribbons. The blood that had been wildly gushing out stopped instantly, then gradually slowed.

The gentle song also soothed Simon’s pain. With the bleeding stopped, he took continuous deep breaths, drenched in sweat, his brow still tightly furrowed.

But at least this pain was no longer enough to make him scream.

Juanlu rushed to his side and shouted, ”Open your mouth!”

Simon, who had just regained consciousness and was immediately overwhelmed by intense pain, looked bewildered. He heard incomprehensible words from beside him.

He opened his mouth, uttering a series of pained, unintelligible sounds.

”Open your mouth!” Alka immediately switched to a language Simon could understand.

Upon hearing Alka’s words, Simon turned his head to look at him, then opened his mouth.

The recent song, the influx of green Energy, and the general situation made it clear that these people were trying to save him.

A tube was swiftly inserted into his mouth, reaching down his esophagus. Dark-green liquid rapidly flowed down the tube and into him.

The moment the tube was inserted, Juanlu’s palm, pressed against Simon’s abdomen, also began to emit an orange-yellow Magic Power.
