Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 351: Chapter 200: The Fearful Dream Death God_2

The clothes on Lucilia were designed and sewn by Chadite, with Spells inscribed by Alka.

”Everyone, eat well tonight and get a good rest. Tomorrow morning, we might once again face the Storm Sea Region, so be prepared,” Alka said.

The group nodded, having already prepared themselves. Moreover, as long as they anticipated the storm, it didn’t pose a significant challenge for them. As long as they didn’t encounter the Silver Threads Sea Beast afterwards, it would be easy to handle. So far, they hadn’t figured out a good way to deal with the Silver Threads Sea Beast. If encountered, they could only try their best to hold it off and then rely on the speed of the Sound of Dawn to quickly escape.

”Unknowingly, our journey is already halfway through,” Chadite said, placing a piece of fish in his mouth and chewing.

Jason, on the other hand, looked extremely uncomfortable and said helplessly, ”Only halfway? Oh no, we still have to go through the other half.”

The desolate sea, continuous navigation, without seeing any other ships, or even an Island. He forgot how long it had been since his feet last stepped on land, feeling like he was about to forget the feeling of touching the ground.

After speaking, he put down his utensils, crossing his arms over his chest—a gesture for praying to the Holy Mother. He muttered, ”Holy Mother, bless us to encounter an Island on the rest of our journey. I can’t take it anymore.”

”Of course, if the Island is too dangerous, then forget it,” he added.

”Alright, let’s eat.”

Finally, there was the sound of hearty chewing and the group’s compliments on the delicious food.

「As night fell.」

Jason replaced Alka to take the watch in the lookout room for the first half of the night. The watch schedule had been newly planned, assigning the first half of the night’s watch to Jason. Alka found that even without him standing watch, Jason was always the last to sleep among the group. He only drifted into Dream Bubbles late at night. Jason gladly accepted Alka’s arrangement, mentioning that he had long wanted to suggest this to Alka.

Since Alka needed to enter the Dream World every night to patrol, and knowing that the Dream World would become more lively upon reaching the Endless Sea, he had to patrol the Dream Realm on schedule. This removed his shift from nighttime duties.

Alka lay down early, quickly fell asleep, and plunged into the Dream Realm.

The advantage of being a Dream Catcher meant Alka no longer worried about insomnia, nor did he fear lack of rest or lack of time. With the Dream Catcher, he could still be active and even learn within the Dream World. Alka had experimented, noting that if someone else stayed awake in the Dream World, it would be okay for a day or two. However, beyond a week, daytime drowsiness would set in. He wouldn’t experience this, as he possessed the Dream Catcher, a dream Treasure. Essentially, he had some extra time compared to others, although it could only be used for actions within the Dream World.

He awoke again from his dream.

In the center of Alka’s Dream Bubble, within a giant Transparent Crystal Stone, glowing sparks densely flowed, drifting freely. His Dream Energy had increased again, and beneath the Crystal Stone lay quite a few trophies, though these were still mostly materials. Light Shapeshifters and Shadow Beings, regardless of form, produced similar materials when compressed by the pink mist after death. There was nothing particularly noteworthy.

With these materials accumulating, Alka planned to test making a Puppet Girl intimately connected to dreams in his future creations. Though the idea remained theoretical due to lack of materials for creating puppets.

Thinking of this, Alka let his form drift out. In his routine daily patrol, he circled around everyone’s Dream Bubbles, casually severing a few arms or claws of Light Shapeshifters. These creatures were too weak to condense into any valuable trophies, only leaving behind tiny Dream Energy particles. After a round of patrols and confirming no issues, Alka began to explore the surrounding Dream Space.

Although the area remained as barren as ever, he felt compelled to explore daily. He couldn’t miss the Dream Bubble of some land-dwelling creature, which might lead to the discovery of an Island. Such an event would be too regrettable if overlooked in these desolate sea routes where every Island piqued Alka’s curiosity. Yet, up until now, he had only encountered Shipwreck Island.

With this in mind, Alka flew outward, checking the surroundings for any unseen dream creatures. Beside him floated a Mirror, displaying the image of the Dream Death God. Even now, the Dream Death God hadn’t noticed the small Mirror shard adhering to it. In Alka’s observations, he witnessed the Dream Death God engage in several battles, all of which it resolved with ease. The Mirror shard remained undamaged by these battles, allowing Alka to study the Dream Death God’s combat methods, hunting, and habits.

Alka felt he was close to fully simulating the Dream Death God’s state.
