Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 385: Chapter 211 Another Treasure_3

Even if the main part underneath isn’t made of pure gold, it’s still valuable enough.

But hearing Alka’s words, Pororo laughed and said, ”Looks like the box in my hand might be worth even more.”

Alka chuckled and said, ”Alright, alright, let’s get back to the ship. Don’t you guys want to divvy up the loot properly?”

At these words, everyone broke into smiles.

This time’s haul was unusually generous, and the satisfaction was written all over everyone’s faces.

Pororo handed the two metal boxes he was carrying to Jason and Alka, then squatted down to lift the metal version that was holding Simon.

The group followed their original path back.

Soon, they made it to the beach and rode the Swallow back to the Sound of Dawn.

The moment they boarded, Juanlu, who had been waiting for a while, immediately came up. A figure slid down from above on a silver thread, landing right on Chadite’s shoulder.

”Come on, tell me, what did you guys do on the island? Did you run into anything fun?”

Chadite nodded at her head with a smile and said, ”Don’t rush, we’ll tell you everything in a bit.”

Juanlu had already spotted the metal slab Pororo placed on the deck, along with the skinny injured man lying on it.

Alka pointed at Simon, looked at Juanlu, and asked, ”He’s currently frozen in a state to keep stable. If we want to save him, we have to break this frozen state. Do you have any way to quickly give him energy?”

”But, his wounds...” Juanlu couldn’t help but say, looking at the severed arm and injuries all over the man.

”Don’t worry, let Julia handle those wounds.”

Hearing this, Juanlu nodded, then said, ”If it’s just about quickly restoring his energy to give him enough stamina and nutrients to deal with later problems, then no problem.

I’ve got a recipe for that. It just tastes pretty bad—but hey, what’s bad taste when your life’s on the line?”

Knowing that Juanlu did have a way, Alka nodded. Good enough.

”Tidy up the infirmary, let’s put him in there first.”

No one had ever stayed in the ship’s infirmary before, and this person would be the very first.

They lifted the metal slab, opened the infirmary door, and gently placed him inside.

Juanlu was already heading off to the kitchen to prep the ingredients.

The crew began changing clothes and cleaning off the grime and dust on their bodies.

By the time they finished up, Juanlu had already returned to the deck with two cans of murky green liquid.

Jason looked at the liquid in the cans and frowned in disgust.

”This stuff...is edible?” he asked, unable to believe it.

Juanlu nodded, ”It doesn’t look good, and it tastes horrible, but it’s super easy to absorb and can replenish energy really fast.”

On hearing this, Alka walked over and crouched down, hesitated for a second, then opened the can lid.

The moment it opened, a faint fragrance wafted out.

”While it looks nasty, it actually smells pretty good.” Pororo was very pleased with the scent. He’d been pinching his nose, but now he was surprised it didn’t stink at all.

Looking at the stuff, sniffing its aroma, Alka dipped a finger in and popped it into his mouth.

After smacking his lips, he nodded in satisfaction.

Seeing Alka’s reaction—and the fact that he could even tolerate the taste—

Juanlu couldn’t help but frown and scratch his head.

”No way, I remember this stuff being terrible.”

”Really?” Alka looked puzzled, crouched down again, and dipped another bit into his mouth.

He said with some confusion, ”It’s not bad at all. Maybe you got stronger, so your cooking skills improved a bit, and now it doesn’t taste so awful.”

”If you don’t believe me, try it yourselves.”

At his words, Juanlu squatted down first, dabbed a bit and put it in his mouth.

His expression froze a little, but when he saw Alka’s face, he licked his lips, a little happily, and said, ”Hey, it really isn’t bad at all—how the heck?”

Seeing Juanlu’s reaction, Alka quickly crouched down and held out the can to everyone else.

”Come on, everyone, try it! Not bad at all, not half as bad as he said.”

Alka made Jason take a big wad first, then passed it, one by one, to the rest of the crew.

Only after Julia dipped a little bit did he finally nod in satisfaction.

Seeing everyone staring at the gooey stuff in their hands, hesitant to eat,

he said, ”Try it! If it restores energy this fast, we should stock up for sure—who knows, it might just save a life one day.”

Alka wasn’t wrong. Once Alka knew what this liquid could do, he’d been thinking about that already.

After listening, everyone, half-believing, stuffed it into their mouths.

”Bleagh—aaagh, bleagh...” Jason, who stuffed it in first, immediately ran to the ship rail, gagging and retching loud and hard.

Seeing everyone else stuff it in too, Alka and Juanlu dropped the act and started gagging, frantically chugging water.

”This is so disgusting, I’m gonna puke.” Alka said while downing water.

This was the nastiest thing he’d ever tasted. Eating dirt, glue, maybe even gasoline, was less disgusting than this.

His tongue felt assaulted by an endless wave of weird, nauseating flavors.

”I should’ve never trusted you! This stuff is just as awful as before—or even worse,” Juanlu croaked out, gagging.

Chadite, gagging, pointed at the two of them.

”You two, ganged up to trick us!”

Alka and Juanlu exchanged sly smiles. That’s what you call teamwork.

”Damn it, urgh...Alka—and you, Hu...ugh~”

Seeing Jason’s face, Alka laughed and patted him, ”Alright, alright, say no more, have some water.”

Alka had made sure Jason scooped up a massive glob.

Which was why Jason’s reaction was so over the top.

After gulping down water, Jason spat it out in a big spray.

”What the hell is this?”

”Hahahahaha!”

”You’re the worst!”
