Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 1584: Chapter 1582: An Unexpected Visitor (Clutching Heads, Tumbling and Rolling)

Just like that, with Lilith completely fusing with the Earth, the completion of the second coordinate point was also finally concluded.

Misato Katsuragi had already decided to go back to rebuild Tokyo-3, and the same was true for Shinji Ikari. Fang Zheng didn’t have much to say about this—incidentally, after this, Shinji Ikari actually started dating Sakura Suzuhara, Touji Suzuhara’s sister, which enraged Touji enough to confront Shinji for a ”man’s duel.”

Then Shinji, who had developed six-pack abs, pinned him to the ground without much effort.

In the end, Touji had to willingly accept this ”brother-in-law”... Of course, this was all ten years later.

Asuka eventually chose to follow Fang Zheng. Technically speaking, she was very interested in the other worlds Fang Zheng spoke about, so Fang Zheng assigned Asuka to Anya’s VF fighter squadron—Asuka indeed had quite a talent for piloting.

As for Rei Ayanami, after the soul and body of Big White Rei dissipated, she became just an ordinary girl.

Of course, the original Rei Ayanami wasn’t that much of a deviant to begin with.

Fang Zheng eventually arranged for her to stay at the Heavenly Dao Palace, at least... the environment there was somewhat better.

In the following days, Fang Zheng was busy dealing with the aftermath in the EVA world. Because everything went smoothly, he didn’t require the Heavenly Dao Palace to make an appearance. As for the intelligence and data about EVA, Fang Zheng simply deleted it all with ”Ratziel.” Adam and Lilith had both been burned by himself, and the remaining specimens were completely disposed of, so there was no need for the EVA to exist anymore.

Even if Ritsuko Akagi wanted to cause trouble, she would be surprised to find that all the information about EVA in her brain had disappeared—as if she woke up to realize she had forgotten all the English words she memorized.

But what Fang Zheng didn’t expect was that while he was busy dealing with the aftermath of the EVA world, something unexpected happened.

At this moment, it was already winter.

”It’s the season of White Album again...”

Watching the fluffy snow falling from the sky, Kazusa Touma muttered to herself. She lowered her head, blew warm breath onto her hands, and slowly walked along the street.

It’s been half a month since the presentation ended.

Touma didn’t immediately return to Japan. Instead, she started traveling around Europe. In fact, Touma herself wasn’t sure what she wanted to do; she just felt as if something was drawing her. Or maybe, she simply wanted to clear her mind, hoping that unfamiliar sights in a foreign land would help her forget that man and the memories that were hard to let go.

At least... forget for now.

Currently, Touma was in a small town named Colmar in the Alsace region of France. Christmas was imminent, and the atmosphere was filled with joy. Watching the children running around and the images of Santa Claus hanging in the shop windows along the streets, Touma found herself feeling a lot more relaxed.

But... it’s quite cold here.

Feeling the cold wind blowing against her face, Touma shivered. She glanced around and then dragged her suitcase into a nearby café.

”Welcome!”

As soon as she entered the café, a girl in a pink uniform came over with a smile.

”May I help you with something?”

”Uh...”

Hearing the girl’s inquiry, Touma was momentarily stunned.

”I’ll have a Blue Mountain coffee.”

”Alright, please wait a moment!”

The girl nodded and turned away, while Touma found a chair to sit down and looked at the snowy scene outside.

The café wasn’t crowded, with only two or three customers present, which made the atmosphere quite peaceful and harmonious. Touma watched the snowy scene outside for a while, then reached into her bag, hesitated for a moment, and finally took out a slightly worn textbook. She slowly opened it and looked at the card inserted inside.

What on earth is this?

Staring at the card showing herself playing the piano with her eyes closed, Touma was utterly puzzled. She really didn’t know how to face this card... Speaking of which, when did this card appear in this book? It was clearly not from Fang Zheng because Touma remembered very well that when she flipped through the book before, she hadn’t seen this card. Moreover... judging from the peculiar image, it clearly didn’t seem like a gift from others either.

”Here’s your coffee, miss. Sorry to keep you waiting.”

At this moment, the previous girl brought the coffee to Touma’s side. Hearing her greeting, Touma quickly closed the book and put it back in her bag. Then she picked up the coffee and began to savor it.

There’s no denying that the coffee here... was quite good.

After finishing her coffee and seeing the somewhat dim sky outside, Touma stood up to leave. After all, she hadn’t booked a room here, so she still needed to check if there were any available rooms at the inn... Thinking of this, Touma didn’t say much, directly left the payment on the table, and then carried her suitcase out of the café.

Should I go back?

As she walked down the street, Touma pondered this question. Although Yukina and the others invited her to spend New Year’s together, Touma wasn’t really inclined to return. In fact, Touma could feel that even after all this time, everyone still hadn’t gotten used to life without those two people.

According to Setsuna, Gui Kotonoha took the bus to Haruno’s house every morning to stare at the already vacated house, and then she went to school.

Hmm? You ask why Setsuna knows this?

Because she goes there every morning too.

It’s on the way... after all...

Touma had a feeling if everyone gathered together, it wouldn’t be a cheerful and lively New Year’s celebration, but more of... well, it’s pointless to talk about it now.

”Phew...”

Just then, a slightly chilly breeze brushed across Touma’s cheek, bringing her back from her deep thoughts. She raised her head, instinctively wanting to look at the road, but then, Touma was completely stunned.

Where is this?

Kazusa remembers clearly that Colmar is a very quiet small town, and while the buildings in front of her also have a touch of classical style, they are completely different from other places. Moreover, looking around, she can see lights twinkling everywhere, creating a scene of warmth and harmony, but...

This isn’t Colmar... right?

Did I take the wrong road?

Kazusa turned her head to look behind her, but found helplessly that there were several junctions behind her. While she was walking, she was lost in thought and didn’t pay attention. When she came to her senses, she realized something was wrong!

This is not Colmar!

Not to mention that Karma is just a small town with only a few streets, there is no way it’s this complex, and even the weather doesn’t match!

You must know that it’s already close to Christmas by now, long since having a winter atmosphere. But here it still looks like autumn; Kazusa can even see red maple trees not far away on both sides!

What on earth is this place? Am I dreaming?

Kazusa slapped her face, the stinging pain clearing told her that none of this was a dream. But... if this isn’t a dream, why would she come to a place she has never been before?

Could it be... some mysterious event?

After experiencing the Tenjin Elementary incident, Kazusa and the others have some understanding of mysterious events, but didn’t expect to encounter one again!

Is this one of those Evil Spirit spaces like Tenjin Elementary?!

Just as Kazusa was at a loss, suddenly, a voice rang out from above her.

”Whoa! Big sister, get out of the way, get out of the way!!”

Hearing this, Kazusa hurriedly looked up, and saw a shadow almost graze her nose as it descended from the sky, then landed on the ground with a ”thud.”

”Ah———!”

This sudden scene startled Kazusa into a scream. She looked down and found a girl, looking about ten years old, lying on the ground motionless.

”Are... are you okay...?”

No matter how you say it, Kazusa had been trained at Tenjin Elementary. Although it was chaotic now, she still hesitantly stepped forward to check on the girl. At this moment, the girl suddenly raised her head, shaking her head.

”Ugh... so dizzy... I stepped wrong just now...”

”What a fool.”

Before Kazusa could react, she saw a flash of white light, and another girl quietly appeared not far away.

”How can you be so stupid!”

”What could I do, it’s not like I want to; it’s because curfew is almost here, if I don’t make it back in time, I’ll be punished!”

Saying this, the girl stood up and looked at Kazusa.

”Big sister, are you okay.”

”Ah, um, I’m fine...”

Seeing this scene, Kazusa was a bit confused. She hadn’t noticed before, but as the girl stood up, she discovered that this girl had a pair of fluffy big ears on her head. At first, Kazusa thought it was some kind of decoration, but upon closer inspection, she realized they actually moved with the girl’s direction.

Is this... real?

”Not good, no time left!!”

Then Kazusa saw the girl stretch out her hand, open something on her arm, glance at it, and then suddenly scream.

”Sorry, big sister, I’m in a hurry, I’ll be going ahead!”

After saying this, Kazusa saw the girl leap ten meters high, disappearing instantly into the darkness. The other girl also bowed respectfully to her, and then white light began to flicker around her.

”Hey, wait, I have something to...”

However, before Kazusa could finish, she saw the girl enveloped by a flash of light and shadow, and in the next moment, she disappeared as well.

What on earth is going on here?

Kazusa looked around blankly, not knowing what to do. The behavior of those two girls didn’t look human, but they also seemed different from the ghosts she’d encountered before...

”..........”

While Kazusa was deeply puzzled, suddenly, she felt the ground begin to tremble slightly, and at the same time, a sliver of moonlight appeared from the sky, shining down on her. Kazusa instinctively raised her head, looking at the night sky, then... she was stunned in place.

”What is this...?”

In front of Kazusa, a giant full moon almost covered a fifth of the night sky, and beside this full moon, the piece of ”darkness” just now revealed its true form.

It was a giant metal warship, like a mountain.

”Where on earth have I ended up?”

At this moment, Kazusa was completely stunned.
