Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Meteors fell from the sky.

When the messengers of destruction came here, most of the Followers of the Crimson Realm hadn’t yet grasped what was happening. They were still caught up in the excitement of the grand ritual and the new world, to such an extent that when the meteors rained down from the sky, they didn’t even realize they had entered the domain of death.

“Wah!”

The falling star crashed to the ground, turning the Followers of the Crimson Realm and the buildings around them into flatland. On the other side, the leaping waters of the riverbed that cut through the center of Goki City transformed into seals, suddenly pouncing on the unsuspecting Followers of the Crimson Realm, enveloping them tightly and then completely devouring them.

“This is…?”

“Damn Fire Mist Warriors!”

By this time, the Followers of the Crimson Realm also reacted. They turned their heads in anger and saw, not far away, three figures emerging from blood and fire. They were two men and a woman, all dressed in Indian attire. The one walking in the middle was a middle-aged man with a sullen and steady face. By his side stood a woman who seemed to shrink back in fear and a young man with a limp. They were now watching the Followers of the Crimson Realm, visibly displaying their undisguised disgust.

“What an ugly bunch of evil spirits.”

The leading middle-aged man said this, and the woman beside him curled up as if frightened, trembling.

“Ah, so many evil spirits, how terrifying, how terrifying…”

“What’s so scary! Having so many evil spirits to kill is simply the best gift, hahaha!!”

On the other side, the young man with a limp burst out laughing, then he raised his right hand and swung it forcefully.

“Come, my beloved fallen, kill all these evil spirits!”

“Splash.”

With the man’s roar, hundreds, thousands of human-shaped creatures with masks like those of Egyptian gods, suddenly appeared around him. They opened their mouths, and instantaneously, like vacuum cleaners, they sucked in the Followers of the Crimson Realm who had not yet managed to stand up from the ground. No matter how the Followers struggled, they couldn’t escape the creatures’ pull and screamed as they were consumed by the creatures’ gaping maws. Right after that, it was seen that these strange beings split directly after devouring the Followers of the Crimson Realm, dividing into two, and in an instant, an entire army spread out.

“Ah, please, go back to the Crimson Realm!”

Meanwhile, on the other side, the woman was tearfully looking at the Followers of the Crimson Realm, her hands clenched in front of her chest as if praying. But at the same time, a series of water streams burst forth from under the woman’s feet again. They congealed into giant seals and lunged directly at the Followers of the Crimson Realm. The Followers tried to fend off the sudden attack, but their assaults did absolutely nothing to the seals, which swallowed them whole and then, screaming, they vanished in flames and disappeared.

“Ah, I’m so glad, you’re going back…”

As she watched the disintegrating Followers of the Crimson Realm, the woman showed a grateful smile.

“Are those the Four Gods of Earth?”

Watching the three crazies below, Fang Zheng snorted lightly.

“Indeed, within the Fire Mist Warriors, those with normal intelligence are few; most are a bunch of idiots and lunatics with aggressive personalities. No wonder they’re so aggressive… I knew I shouldn’t have killed all those Fire Mist Warriors back then. I should’ve captured them…”

“Captured them?”

Facing Fang Zheng’s complaint, Xiu Denan was somewhat puzzled.

“What for?”

“Lock them up in a mental asylum, mentally ill people don’t violate the law for killing, if I had known they’re all lunatics, I should have given them some humanitarian care… But it’s not too late now. Since the three remaining crazies of the Four Gods have arrived, I might as well meet them.”

“Alliance Hierarch, but…”

Upon hearing Fang Zheng was about to once again risk himself, Xiu Denan immediately became troubled. He had heard from Feckoru about the previous battle, saying that Fang Zheng nearly fell to a surprise attack by Sophie Sabelishu, the menopausal old hag. Xiu Denan was also quite scared after the fact. Now that they’ve reached the critical point of the ritual, as the leader, you should not keep risking your life.

“It’s alright, just the Four Gods alone can’t deal with me. Have Feckoru keep an eye out for any sneak attacks. You and Decarabia can handle Black Katie.”

Fang Zheng, of course, knew what Xiu Denan was worried about, but he didn’t care. In fact, ever since he acquired the perk “Free Will” in the world of “Higurashi,” Fang Zheng noticed some changes in his temperament. He became more unrestrained, doing whatever he felt like doing. If he didn’t succeed, Fang Zheng would feel very frustrated. For example, he knew he should stay right here, but he kept feeling like he should go teach those three idiots a lesson or he wouldn’t feel at ease. Of course, he wouldn’t forget the main task because of this.

With Decarabia and Xiu Denan here, and with Professor “Bouncing Ball” and Berupeoru in charge of defending the rear, Fang Zheng wasn’t worried about Shana and the others’ actions. Even if Aralastor decided to betray at the last minute, he wasn’t afraid, because he had obtained the best insurance policy.

“…Then, I wish you the best of luck, Alliance Hierarch.”

Of course, as soon as Xiu Denan heard that Fang Zheng wanted him to protect Black Katie, he no longer objected. Moreover, with Feckoru following Fang Zheng, he indeed didn’t need to worry about Fang Zheng’s safety.

“Bang!!”

At this moment, the Followers of the Crimson Realm on the outskirts were already beaten into disarray by the Four Gods, completely defeated. The Followers of the Crimson Realm were not particularly formidable to begin with, whereas the Four Gods were powerful; the innumerable meteor showers, the Army of the Fallen, and those strange Water Element creatures were all more than enough to claim their lives!

“Aaaah…”

Seeing more Followers of the Crimson Realm be devoured by Water Elements, the woman closed her eyes tightly, shedding tears of excitement.

“Please, I’m begging you, go back. Isn’t it good to return to the Crimson Realm? Why do you force me to kill you? Why do you treat me this way?”

“Because you’re stupid, ugly, and a psychopath!”

But before the woman’s words could settle, suddenly, a voice came from in front of her, and the next moment, five massive fireballs whooshed by, smashing directly into the Water Element before the woman. Accompanied by scorching heat and explosions, the Water Elements were instantly evaporated into nothing.

“No… my dear children… No…!!”

Seeing this scene, the woman immediately covered her face with her hands and screamed. The flames in front of her then parted, and right after, Fang Zheng’s figure flashed out from the middle, his right hand pointing straight at the woman before him, a streak of radiance shot past quickly.

Banishment Spell!!

The Magic Radiance flashed by, hitting the woman’s body, and her complexion suddenly turned as pale as snow. Her body seemed to have been struck by a heavy punch, recoiling backward, but then she quickly recovered to normal.

Indeed, without a Seventh-Ring Spell, it’s still not enough.

Seeing this scene, Fang Zheng appeared quite calm. The Banishment Spell was not invincible in this world; it was enough to handle ordinary Fire Mist Warriors and Followers of the Crimson Realm, but against the rank of the Four Gods of Earth it was indeed lacking. However, he didn’t care; the Four Gods of Earth had disgusted him enough, and now, of course, he wouldn’t show any mercy to them!

“Huff!”

At the moment the woman was struck by the Banishment Spell and lost her power, Fang Zheng immediately closed in, and at this moment, the woman couldn’t help but tremble, looking at Fang Zheng with great fear and astonishment.

“Don’t come any closer, I’m really scared!”

While screaming, the woman turned and swung her leg forcefully at Fang Zheng, but he snorted coldly, suddenly rolling to dodge the woman’s attack. Then, clenching his right hand, he took advantage of the moment she hadn’t yet managed to lower her leg, raised his chest and threw a punch, landing it directly between the woman’s legs!

“Aah—!!”

Accompanied by a scream, the woman was sent flying backward, then rolled several times on the ground before finally stopping against the ruins of a house. But before the woman could make another move, a gleaming blade descended from above, cutting off the woman’s arm and resting on her throat.

“Vestur Suyah!”

Seeing their companion defeated with one move, the remaining two instantly changed their expressions and hurriedly surrounded him. They coldly stared at Fang Zheng and after a short while, the man with the limp leg revealed a sinister smile.

“Hahaha, I truly did not expect that we could attract the leader of the Evil Spirits, what a delightful surprise, a delightful surprise indeed.”

“To me, this is no surprise at all.”

Fang Zheng grasped the hilt of his sword with one hand, his foot on the face of the woman, all the while quietly looking at the enemies before him.

“Four Gods of Earth? You idiots actually have the face to come and trouble me; had it not been for my darling student’s sake, I would have sent you back to your homeland to get married days ago. Now it appears that stupidity is indeed incurable.”

“I am curious.”

At that moment, another man also stared at Fang Zheng and asked.

“Why, as a human, do you consort with Evil Spirits?”

“I too am curious.”

Hearing the man’s inquiry, Fang Zheng huffed coldly, then looked around—this place had been turned into a mess under the man’s meteor shower, and among the rubble, one could still see the limbs and remains of humans.

“You clearly know there are so many people here, so why do you fight the Followers of the Crimson Realm in such a way?”

“Isn’t that obvious?”

Fang Zheng didn’t finish his sentence when the limping man interrupted with a sneer, shouting loudly.

“We are here to kill Evil Spirits! What do other matters have to do with us? They’re unlucky to be involved in this war; well, that’s their fate! We are here to bring terror to these Followers of the Crimson Realm, to make them tremble and feel uneasy whenever they remember this scene!”

“Well said.”

Hearing this answer, Fang Zheng nodded and then forcefully pressed down with his right foot. The next moment, the woman’s head beneath his foot began to deform; her eyes bulged out of their sockets, her tongue snaked out of her widely opened mouth, writhing and covered with a mix of drool, tears, and snot streaming down her face. Her head swelled and twisted until, with a “pop,” Fang Zheng crushed it into fragments. Brain matter splattered everywhere, an eyeball rolling along the riverbank until it turned to ash in the burning flames.

The woman’s body spasmed like a beheaded fish for a few moments before gradually going silent. Seeing this, the remaining two of the Four Gods of Earth also darkened their faces, their killing intent erupting in an instant.

“To me, most Fire Mist Warriors are indeed just like you.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng raised the Vampire in his hand, coldly looking at the two men before him.

“Come on, Earth pigs, let’s see how it feels to be killed by a human. The Darwin Awards are already prepared for you, have you thought of an acceptance speech yet?”
