Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 260: Chapter 259 This is the Return of the God of Creation!

The world was trembling.

Invisible ripples spread to every corner of the world, and all the Fire Mist Warriors, all the Followers of the Crimson Realm, simultaneously halted their fighting at this moment. Instinctively, they lifted their heads and looked to the sky. Perhaps many of them could not see the battlefield or know the current situation.

But the resonance that enveloped the entire world had already been conveyed to everyone’s heart.

It’s coming!

Sophie stared fixedly at the Divine Gate floating above the firmament not far away, clenching her teeth tightly. Even she couldn’t help but tremble at this. It was like the protagonists in a horror movie, watching the creature outside the door approaching step by step, yet powerless to do anything.

“—————”

Finally, the trembling stopped.

However, the battle between the Followers of the Crimson Realm and the Fire Mist Warriors did not resume; instead, both sides involuntarily took several steps back from each other, widening the distance between them. Then, as if by some agreement, they all looked toward the center of the disturbance — the vast and pitch-black mirror suspended in the sky.

“Crack…”

Under the gaze of countless eyes, cracks began to appear on the surface of the black mirror, spreading and extending to its edges. The fissures grew wider as beams of white light burst forth from the cracks of the black mirror. But soon, a black radiance formed a semicircular barrier that seemed to be blocking these beams of light, forcibly pushing them back.

But the white light, it seemed, was not willing to submit so easily. Shortly after being pushed back, it erupted once again, and then…

“Swoosh——!”

In an instant, a dazzling white brilliance completely shattered the restraints from another plane, smashing the pitch-black mirror to smithereens. Following the white light, a giant, dark figure, almost as if it were the sovereign of heaven and earth, emerged from within.

An earth-shattering, immensely colossal entity.

Its body stretching thousands of kilometers long, undulated among the clouds, continuous and looming like a mountain range. Black flames enveloped the immense body like clouds, and its enormous eyes, surrounded by the dark flames, shone like the bright moon in the pitch-black night sky.

This was the God of Creation—Ritual Snake.

“———Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh————!!”

Seeing the colossal entity that could devour the sky and the earth, the Followers of the Crimson Realm burst into excited cheers, while the faces of the Fire Mist Warriors turned ashen, inhaling sharply. Many of them had heard rumors about the God of Creation, but they had very little knowledge about the true form of the Ritual Snake. Even Aralastor, one of the three gods, did not have a clear idea. When he came to this world, the God of Creation had already been exiled.

And now, this exiled deity had once again come to this world.

“…MMP, this is really F*cked UP!”

Unlike the excitement of the Followers of the Crimson Realm, Fang Zheng’s face was ashen, no different from the Fire Mist Warriors. It wasn’t that there was a problem with his plan, but… damn it, the God of Creation’s appearance was just too villainous!

You’re the damn God of Creation! Can’t you present a more attractive appearance? Like, have wings, or don’t be as black as an African Chief. Although the myth does indeed say that Fuxi had the head of a human and the body of a snake… but… couldn’t you look more like a dragon?

What about multicolored scales, or standing upon five-colored auspicious clouds? Then, at least, I’d have something presentable, right?

Or, if not, you could change into a White Snake or Green Snake… uh, forget that, I’m not planning to perform in The Legend of White Snake.

Now… Fang Zheng was certain that if he used the Soulstone somewhere in the future, he would probably be seen as “the final BOSS coming to harvest the fruits of his conspiracy.”

Alas, I was still too naive. When I first heard it was the God of Creation, I was hoping it might be something like a Golden-Winged Great Peng or even Alzheus… but it’s too late to talk about that now, what’s done is done.

“Alliance Hierarch.”

Just at that moment, the Three Pillars, led by Black Katie, arrived in front of him and respectfully knelt down.

“We have fulfilled our mission.”

“You’ve worked hard, you did well.”

Fang Zheng suppressed the MMP in his heart, smiled, and nodded to the Three Pillars in front of him. Then he took a glance at Black Katie, raised his right hand, and soon, black flames emerged in the palm of his hand. Subsequently, the Soulstone of the Ritual Snake once again returned to his side.

“So, let’s announce the final Grand Verse of Fate.”

After reaffixing the Soulstone to his Dimensional Codex and uttering these words, Fang Zheng turned his head to nod at Tilia. Following that, he flew towards the massive Black Snake that hovered in the high skies. Meanwhile, Black Katie too raised her Silver Staff and gave a gentle swing.

“Ting-a-ling!”

The water-blue triangular runes emerged once more from the Triangle Tin Staff, doubling in number from one to two, then four, quickly dispersing in all directions.

This was the Free Method unique to Black Katie, the Seat of Apex who delivered divine decrees. With this power, she could relay the voice of the god they served to any corner of the world. And now, it was time for their deity to declare the final stage of the Grand Verse of Fate.

“…Lift your heads and gaze upwards.”

The voice of Fang Zheng rose and echoed in the ears of every Follower of the Crimson Realm and every Fire Mist Warrior.

“I am the god, the existence that transcends all common sense! Burn away the premonitions in your hearts, rid yourselves of the trembles in your bodies, those who walk with me, the time is ripe. The heart has been reborn, power overflows… We have now entered the final stage of the Pardon Order… to recreate what was once thwarted and to declare an even greater enterprise!”

Stopping there for a moment, Fang Zheng stood atop the head of the black serpent, gazing down at the battlefield below. At this moment, both the Followers of the Crimson Realm and the Fire Mist Warriors were watching him. Having switched back to the Ritual Snake’s Soulstone, Fang Zheng could feel even more intensely the sensation of being a deity.

Fear, admiration, respect, devotion, curses… An array of emotions gathered towards him — this is the deity revered, feared, cursed, and prayed to by people.

“That is… I will create a replica of the present world ‘Void Domain’ in the rift between the two realms!”

What was that?

Upon hearing this, both the Followers of the Crimson Realm and the Fire Mist Warriors were taken aback, though the former still watched their god with eager eyes, while a bad feeling surfaced deep within the latter. Sure enough, Fang Zheng’s voice sounded again.

“In the past, I have also attempted to create; perhaps some remember that thousands of years ago, I was banished by an assassin summoned by myself to the interstice between the realms. While sealed away, I pondered where exactly should I create a new heaven and earth, and now, I have found the answer! It lies within the interstice of the realms I was banished to! In other words, I won’t just isolate a small domain in the current world, but instead create an endless heaven and earth — the ‘Void Domain’!

While speaking, Fang Zheng raised his hands.

“It will be a world as vast as the ‘current world’, rich with life, and possessing the same form. A world with an inexhaustible Power of Existence, a paradise for all! Even if one ceases to devour humans, one can continue to exist, exploring and enjoying the new world! And now, as the God of Creation, I will realize your wishes — !”

“………”

Deathly silence.

Fang Zheng’s words had fallen, but at that moment, time itself seemed to have paused in the whole world; whether Followers of the Crimson Realm or Fire Mist Warriors stood dumbfounded, unable to believe their ears, far less what they had heard.

A new world brimming with limitless Power of Existence, where one can exist without having to consume humans?

That means……

“Ooooohhhhhh!!!!!!”

In that moment, the cheers of the Followers of the Crimson Realm soared to the heavens, while the Fire Mist Warriors looked on in utter confusion.

However, Fang Zheng did not stop speaking.

“Listen well, Fire Mist Warriors, the King of the Crimson Realm who murdered his kin, and those humans who have become killing blades. Once our Pardon Order succeeds, peace will come to this world. What do you still fear? Are you still clinging to lies about a twisted world? Once the paradise of the Void Domain is complete, you all shall be granted eternal peace. Where the Void Domain is, there lies the rift between the two realms, and once the new world is built, the Followers of the Crimson Realm will no longer be able to cross the Void Domain to this world. If there is still unease, I, as the Ritual Snake, a deity of creation, guarantee that even if a new world is created in the rift between two realms, it will not lead to disaster!”

The battle continued, but now, these Fire Mist Warriors scarcely cared about the fight before them anymore. They were more focused on the words spoken by Fang Zheng.

They were eager to understand what they had actually heard, what the God of Creation was really saying.

“Moreover, when paradise is completed, I will call upon all the Followers of the Crimson Realm in this world to depart, to head for the paradise of the new world! Those of us going to the Void Domain will henceforth never return. From that moment on, there will be no more humans disappearing from being devoured in this world. Thus, your world will have peace…”

And what was everything they had done all for?!

No one spoke, nor knew how to react; they simply stared blankly at the massive dark shape floating in the sky, Fang Zheng’s voice echoing in their ears.

“Enough, there is no need to fight anymore, Fire Mist Warriors, your battle has… ended.”
