Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 986: Chapter 986: Sending Her to The Dalton Group

”Are you going to work over there?” Mia Lane was a bit surprised and turned to ask, ”Why?”

”It’s easier to coordinate that way, even though there’s a month, the workload is quite large.”

Justin Kingston said, ”There are over a hundred executives from The Dalton Group who need to attend the annual meeting. There will also be a recognition ceremony for a batch of lower-level employees. We’ll probably need about two hundred outfits designed, and that’s a conservative estimate.”

”Two hundred outfits in one month?” Mia punched him lightly on the chest, ”And you’re only giving me five people? So stingy?”

”How many do you want?” Justin stopped and looked at her, asking seriously, ”I could move the entire design department over if that’s what my dear wife desires.”

Mia looked at him, one second, two seconds, three seconds, and couldn’t help but laugh!

”Let’s start with five.” She resumed walking forward, speaking in a light-hearted tone, ”Two hundred outfits isn’t that much. If I need reinforcements, I’ll talk to CEO Kingston.”

”That works too.” Justin followed beside her, reaching out to wrap his arm around her shoulder.

Justin really hoped she would be happy, that her life would have no regrets, just as she once helped him.

She made his once obsessive mother normal, healed the burns on her body, and repaired their mother-son relationship.

The truth about why Mia left the Dalton family was known only to her.

One day, Justin would know too; he wouldn’t let anyone who had hurt his wife off the hook!

Early the next morning.

A limited edition Lamborghini drove towards The Dalton Group.

Justin personally drove, sitting in the spacious and impressive driver’s seat.

Mia, along with five designers, sat in the back seat. As the distance grew shorter, her thoughts started to wander.

But the other five people beside her were particularly excited.

Not because they were going to The Dalton Group, but because they were fortunate enough to ride in CEO Kingston’s Lamborghini in their lifetime.

”President Lane...” Edie tried to suppress her inner excitement and called softly.

Mia snapped out of her reverie, smiling as she focused her attention on her.

”Can I take a selfie in the car?” Edie asked, full of anticipation.

Seeing how excited they all were, Mia nodded her approval, ”Of course you can.”

”Yay!” Everyone was especially happy.

Mia watched as they took out their phones, huddled together for a joyful selfie.

Without even editing the photos, they immediately posted them on social media, causing countless peers from the design department to be envious and commenting—

”Ahhh, I want to go too!”

”Is CEO Kingston the driver?”

”This is such a great perk!”

”I’m so jealous! I’ve never ridden in a car worth over five hundred grand in my life!!”

Mia took out her phone and scrolled through her social media, seeing their posts and the comments, unable to help the corners of her mouth from curving upwards.

They were all such lovable people.

”President Lane.” Edie noticed that Mia had liked her post and looked up with a smile, ”We’re all so envious of you, having gained both CEO Kingston’s heart and soul.”

”Fate is destined by the heavens. I never thought I’d marry him in this lifetime.” Mia beamed with a look of happiness.

When the Lamborghini stopped outside the main hall of The Dalton Group’s headquarters, David Dalton was already there waiting with several executives.

The car, imposing and powerful, symbolized authority and drew many people’s attention.

The car doors opened, and everyone got out.

Mia immediately spotted David Dalton. Despite being prepared, she still felt a slight stir in her heart.

The feeling was both familiar and strange.

David Dalton also looked at her, and for a moment, their eyes were on each other alone, forgetting the presence of everyone around them.
