Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 980: Chapter 980: Willing to Lose Eight Million

Additionally, Justin Kingston emphasized, ”And, I don’t want Mia to be the last one to know about this identity issue.”

”This is the very basic respect for her, do you understand what I mean?” Justin Kingston said, glancing back as he walked.

”Understood.” So David Dalton wouldn’t rush to tell his family either.

The two quickly arrived in the yard. Justin Kingston walked up to David Dalton’s car, ”You didn’t bring a driver?”

”No, I didn’t.” David Dalton stopped and gave him a smile, ”The fewer people know about some things, the better, right?”

Justin Kingston nodded and reached out to open the driver’s seat door for him.

”Thank you.” David Dalton felt both surprised and pleased, smiling.

This treatment made him feel very awkward. Although he was a son-in-law, Justin Kingston was a formidable figure in Riventhal’s business world, always on a pedestal, an untouchable legend.

”Drive safely.” After David Dalton got into the car, Justin Kingston closed the car door for him, ”May our cooperation be pleasant, bye!”

He was so down-to-earth, a warm-blooded person, even smiling at the corners of his mouth.

This completely changed David Dalton’s perception of him.

”Okay, okay, okay...” David Dalton fastened his seatbelt, turned his eyes to him, ”Thank you, CEO Kingston.” He sincerely said again, ”Thank you for taking care of Stella.”

Justin Kingston just gave him a smile, then stepped back a few steps.

He watched him start the car and saw him drive away into the distance.

Jerry Garcia was by his side the whole time, opened the back door of the Lamborghini, and did not urge him to get in.

Once David Dalton’s car was out of sight, Justin Kingston turned around and got into his own car.

Jerry Garcia closed the car door, returned to the driver’s seat, and quickly drove away.

When David Dalton returned to the company and entered the CEO’s office, Trevor was inside.

Their eyes met, and David Dalton snapped back to reality, ”You’re... not busy?”

”President Dalton.”

Trevor looked at him, quite puzzled and asked—

”We’ve compared nearly a dozen brands for the annual gala dresses, and after finally negotiating cooperation with Daisy and even paying the advance, why cancel the cooperation? Along with a 3 million breach of contract penalty?”

In other words, 8 million just went down the drain in a day.

David Dalton handed over the recently signed contract to him, ”Cooperating with the Kingston Group benefits outweigh the disadvantages.”

Trevor took it, saw the cover showing both parties of the contract, and was truly shocked!

He quickly flipped through the contract, and at the end was CEO Kingston’s signature and stamp!

”The Kingston Group is willing to design gala dresses for us??” Trevor found it unbelievable, wasn’t this overqualified?

But as a member of The Dalton Group, naturally, he didn’t voice it out.

”Yes.” David Dalton sat back comfortably in the office chair, ”That’s why I’ve been reaching out to him lately.”

”But since you wanted to reach out to him, you shouldn’t have signed with Daisy yesterday, 8 million!” Trevor was heartbroken.

”It doesn’t matter.” David Dalton’s lips curved slightly, ”Money is just an external object, and besides... what the Kingston Group can bring us far exceeds this 8 million, do you understand brand impact?”

Of course, Trevor understood.

He just felt that 8 million was also money; it didn’t have to be wasted.

But since it was already wasted, there was no point in saying more.

”Trevor, take a good look at the contract and set things up according to the requirements.”

David Dalton said, ”The Kingston Group’s vice president will bring a design team to our company, which makes coordination easy and saves time and trouble.”

He also said, ”There’s an empty office next door; furnish it with new office supplies, considering all aspects carefully, especially since it’s for a girl to use.”

Upon hearing this, Trevor was shocked, ”They’re even willing to send the vice president over here?”

Was CEO Kingston that easygoing?

Trevor really had ten thousand whys in his mind!

Just in one day, what exactly happened?
