Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 969: Chapter 969: Justin Kingston Hesitates

David Garcia almost rear-ended another car twice, but he finally returned safely to the company.

”Hello, President Dalton.”

”Hello, President Dalton.”

Everyone who encountered him stopped to greet him respectfully.

He seemed to have something on his mind today, quickly walking into the elevator.

Entering the office, he sat in his chair, still feeling unsettled.

After returning from Kingston Group, although he didn’t see Justin Kingston, he did see Mia Lane, which completely changed David Garcia’s mental state.

When Trevor entered with the documents, he saw from a distance that Garcia was distracted.

”President Dalton.” He gently placed the documents on the desk with both hands, ”Did you see CEO Kingston?”

”...” David Garcia looked up, gazing deeply at him.

”Is something wrong?” Trevor asked with concern.

The middle-aged man sighed lightly, ”It’s nothing. Are these the quarterly reports?” He withdrew his gaze and picked up the documents on the desk.

”Yes, up 10% from last quarter,” Trevor waited for a moment, then said, ”If there’s nothing else, may I leave now?”

”Okay.” David Garcia didn’t even lift his head.

Trevor gave him a deep look, then turned and left, filled with worry and doubt.

What does CEO Kingston want to do?

What is President Dalton thinking?

Since returning from Kingston Group, he hasn’t seemed right.

But Trevor couldn’t ask more, as President Dalton likely didn’t want to talk about it.

Four o’clock in the afternoon, Kingston Group.

A limited edition Lamborghini was parked downstairs at the company; Jerry Garcia and Justin Kingston returned from the club, having just completed a project. They entered the company lobby and took the elevator upstairs.

”Help me find David Garcia’s phone number.”

In the elevator, Justin Kingston said to him, ”Don’t let President Lane know about this.”

”Okay.” Jerry Garcia nodded.

About ten minutes later, Jerry Garcia sent a phone number to Justin Kingston via WeChat.

In the elegantly beautiful executive office, Justin Kingston originally stood by the window, hands behind his back, pondering something.

As the information arrived, he took out his phone and looked at the string of numbers, copying and pasting it into the dial button.

Just before dialing, he hesitated...

Did David Garcia realize someone was hired to steal a toothbrush for a paternity test?

If it were the usual, why would he appear at Kingston Group?

If he came for this matter, should he reveal the truth or not?

Before meeting with David Garcia, Justin Kingston felt he should confess to his wife first; she must not be the last to know anything.

This is the most basic respect and love in a marriage.

Therefore, Justin Kingston just saved the number for now, without rushing to call.

In the adjacent office, Mia Lane changed the water for the lilies on her desk, her mood somewhat heavy.

That was her father, yet she could only address him as ’Mr. Dalton.’

When those three words escaped her throat, the sensation of suppressed suffocation made her feel breathless, yet she still had to smile, maintaining guests’ hospitality.

Indeed, Mia Lane always knew who her biological father was.

Previously, she lacked the power to acknowledge him; she was too weak.

Now, she didn’t want much acknowledgment, after all, he was quite happy, frequently seen in photos online as a family of three.

And dedicated to his career, The Dalton Group developed smoothly, becoming one of the top enterprises in Riventhal.

She didn’t want to disrupt this tranquility, nor direct public opinion toward The Dalton Group, especially since she was already married, with a new family.

As long as The Dalton Group is stable and he’s well, then all is bright on her side.

This afternoon.

Finn Morgan and Hailey took Paige out of the hospital.

Under Ian Shelby’s several treatments, Paige’s fractures healed quickly.

She was already able to move freely.

At Hale Villa, the only thing Dennis Hale left for his wife and daughter.

Upon entering, the usual joy vanished, replaced by deep sadness.

Finn Morgan and Hailey accompanied Paige on the sofa, Sister May also sat beside them, watching the live court hearing of Dennis Hale on TV.

The case was major, family members weren’t allowed to attend.

This broadcast was specially arranged by Justin Kingston for them, exclusively for their viewing, with complete confidentiality to the outside world.
