Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 983: Chapter 983: Almost Got My Chest Smashed

Hearing this, Sean Dalton was dumbfounded!

She was stunned for a moment, ”Dad... why?” She asked anxiously, ”It won’t take much time, just two hours.”

This was what Mom looked forward to the most all year!

”No reason.”

David Dalton picked up a pen and signed his name at the end of the document. His voice was calm, ”If there’s nothing else, you should go home first. I have a meeting later.”

Sean Dalton felt a sense of authority and detachment from the CEO. For a second, she even wondered, was the man sitting in front of her still her dad?

”What? Anything else you want to say?” The man asked without looking up.

Sean Dalton felt her dad had made up his mind, saying more would be useless and only anger him.

But... Mom had sent her out to choose family outfits, she had earnestly spent three hours full of anticipation choosing them.

She considered every family member’s preference, from style to color.

Now, how would she explain this to Mom?

David Dalton saw she hadn’t left yet and looked up, ”Is there something else?”

”...” The girl shook her head blankly, ”No, nothing else.”

David Dalton did not rush her out; he just withdrew his gaze and continued reviewing the document.

Feeling confused and disappointed, Sean Dalton turned and walked out of the CEO’s office.

She took the elevator downstairs, and even while driving home, she kept wondering, what happened today?

The contract signed less than a day, canceled the cooperation with Daisy, and switched to Kingston Group.

Not even taking the family photo?

As soon as Sean Dalton parked the car, in the Dalton family yard, 12-year-old Ethan Dalton kicked the soccer ball!

The soccer ball flew straight towards the just-got-out-of-the-car Sean Dalton!!

”Miss, watch out!!” Butler Warren, who just came out of the living room, saw it and screamed in horror.

”Ah—”

Sean Dalton couldn’t react in time, and the soccer ball hit her hard in the chest!

It almost burst the silicone implant!

The pain made her bend over, clutching her chest, and she looked up and cursed, ”Ethan Dalton, you bastard!!”

”Sister, I’m sorry...” The little boy quickly ran over, looking remorseful, ”I’m sorry, sister...”

Sean Dalton gritted her teeth, raising her hand to slap down!

”Miss, calm down.” But Butler Warren rushed over and held her wrist, stopping her forcefully, while quietly reminding her, ”Madam is home.”

Sean Dalton glared fiercely at this dumb little boy, ”Get out of my sight.” She wished she could devour him.

”Sister...” The little boy was scared but didn’t leave.

”Young Master, go inside quickly.” Butler Warren frowned and reminded him.

”Sister, are you hurt badly?” Although Ethan Dalton had cognitive issues, he knew how to care for others, ”Do you need to see a doctor?”

As he asked, his eyes filled with tears. He genuinely realized his mistake and was truly concerned.

But Sean Dalton particularly disliked him!

She rolled her eyes at him and stepped towards the living room.

She almost got exposed for having an idiot brother, which could have impacted her popularity.

Yes, this family photo didn’t include Ethan Dalton because he doesn’t look like a normal kid.

If he got exposed, headlines about the Dalton family could last for a month.

At this moment, Joan Graham was coming down the stairs, ”Sean is back?” Her mother smiled, ”Did you choose the family outfits? Did your dad see them? What does he think?”

”Mom.”

The pain in Sean Dalton’s chest eased a bit, she smiled sweetly, ”Well... the family outfits were chosen, but...”

Seeing her daughter’s hesitation, her heart skipped a beat, ”But what? Did something happen?” She had been looking forward to this day for so long.

”But Dad said that starting this year, the family photo is canceled and won’t be taken.” Sean Dalton conveyed the message truthfully.

Joan Graham was shocked!

Then her expression changed rapidly, ”How is that possible? He said just the day before yesterday that he freed up the schedule, wanted to take outdoor photos this year, even mentioned horseback riding, and specially hired a dynamic photographer who studied abroad.”

”Not sure, anyway, I went to the company, and that’s what Dad said.” Sean Dalton finished speaking and walked past her mother, heading upstairs.

Damn it, her chest hurt more and more.
