Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 774: Chapter 774: The Opening Salvo of a Business War

”The new product launch can be scheduled now.” Finn Morgan asked while walking, ”CEO Kingston, are you going to choose the date yourself, or have someone check it?”

”I’ll have a good look at the calendar when I get back.” Justin Kingston was quite particular about this.

”This Friday looks good.” Mia Lane said, ”I’ve checked it.”

”Alright, so this Friday.”

Finn Morgan nodded as well, understanding there were some tasks he needed to handle, ”I need to head back to Veridia on Thursday for my grandfather’s birthday, but I’ll rush back in the evening and won’t miss Friday’s product launch.”

”Okay.”

At the R-Alan Group, in the president’s office.

Lydia Ingram sat in front of the desk, admiring the earrings in her hand, while Monica Usher stood beside, staring at him intently.

The box on the desk contained a valuable necklace.

”This is truly a superb diamond, a rarity occurring once in tens of thousands of years, the quality...” He looked up at the woman before him, ”It’s better than the batch we intercepted.”

Monica Usher felt a bit disappointed, and the clover design was so cliché, yet it was designed to look so impressive.

She instantly felt defeating The Kingston Group through her works was impossible, she had to rely on other means.

”Using fake jewelry to ruin them, how confident are you?” Lydia Ingram asked.

Monica Usher squinted her eyes, something intense and dark lurked in her gaze, ”They’ve released the first set of products; the second and third sets will be easy. The new product launch will be soon. By then, if the fake is exposed in front of reporters, The Kingston Group’s reputation will utterly collapse.”

Recalling that night at The Sovereign Club, Justin Kingston left her in a lurch; the thought of it made her teeth itch with hatred.

Upon hearing this, Lydia Ingram’s old face broke into a crafty smile, ”Very good! You truly are my lucky star.”

Their gazes met, Monica Usher suddenly recalled the scene of this man on top of her, her face turned cold as she was about to turn and leave.

Her phone rang, and after glancing at the caller ID, she answered, ”President Usher, all the true love series products on the Kingston side are ready, the new product launch is set for Friday, and the promotional video will start airing tonight.”

”So soon?” Monica Usher’s heart tightened, ”Launching on Friday?”

”Yes, the insider news just leaked, the media hasn’t had time to promote it, yet it has attracted a large number of collectors.”

”Alright, I understand.” Monica Usher hung up the phone and said to Lydia Ingram, ”I’m going to the studio, I must beat The Kingston Group or launch simultaneously with them, I’ll contact Sean Dalton about the promotional video, filming will start first thing in the morning today.”

”Good.”

In the evening, in the apartment.

Barbara Sutton found a post online saying that the collector Aaron Abbott had arrived in Riventhal. She thought about it all afternoon and decided to act quickly.

So, she immediately dialed Aaron Abbott’s assistant’s phone number...

She was nervous, afraid they wouldn’t answer, but also afraid they would.

Listening to the ringing tone, she clearly felt her heart racing, a wave of tinnitus engulfing her.

”Hello, how may I help you?”

The ringing stopped, and a deep, magnetic male voice came through.

Barbara Sutton spoke as calmly as possible, ”I have here an excellent ring and bracelet I’d like to sell, the diamonds are from Zulmar, not sure if Boss Ashford is interested in taking a look? I’m in Riventhal, I can come to you, if the items aren’t good, you can refuse them.”

Afraid that they would hang up, Barbara Sutton said everything at once.

The other party was a little shocked, trading like this? From the tone, it was obvious she was a newcomer in the collector circle.

Thus, the other party said, ”I’ll ask Mr. Ashford, please hold on.”

”Okay.” Barbara Sutton didn’t hang up.

The silence over the call made her feel incredibly anxious inside.

Just as Barbara Sutton felt her hope dwindling, a voice came from the other end of the phone, ”Mr. Ashford says he’ll meet you first, can you be punctual at five?”
