Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 756: Chapter 756: When Did You Start Liking Me?

Around three in the afternoon, Finn Morgan drove Hailey Hale home.

Today was their first day dating, so he had to get the details right and not make Hailey’s mother wait too long.

”How did the food taste earlier?” Finn said, ”I noticed you didn’t eat much. Were you not hungry?”

”Mainly just enjoying the atmosphere. I usually don’t eat much anyway.” Hailey turned her gaze towards him, smiling, ”Actually, how much or what you eat doesn’t matter; what’s important is who you eat with.”

Hearing this, Finn felt indescribably happy and smiled as well.

The car headed towards Hale Villa, and Finn felt like he was dreaming—he had a girlfriend!

Hailey also found it quite unreal; last night she was still insomniac and inexplicably upset, and today she was confessed to.

”When did you start liking me?” Hailey couldn’t resist probing, ”I’m really curious.”

Finn’s voice was warm and pleasant, ”I’ve always found you different, really liked your personality. I guess I had feelings for you since the day I agreed to let you stay at my place?”

”That early?” She abruptly turned her gaze, eyes wide, staring at him, ”Are you serious?”

”Do I look like someone who lies?” Finn kept driving, telling her very seriously, ”I’m someone who values privacy a lot; after I turned eight, my mom never entered my room.”

He said, ”That night I actually gave you my bed; later, I couldn’t figure out why I did that. Until one day...” He suddenly paused, a bit too embarrassed to continue.

”What happened until one day?” She turned her gaze, ”What happened?”

Finn thought for a moment and then honestly told her, ”Until one day you were watching Anton Miller’s series, it felt like your whole soul was glued to him. I felt a bit uncomfortable. I thought... that’s when I clearly realized I liked you.”

That left Hailey somewhat speechless.

”Isn’t having a celebrity crush normal?” But inside, she felt warm, and she laughed, ”I’m not even familiar with him; he doesn’t even know me.”

”But, because I like you, I can’t help feeling a little jealous.”

”Why didn’t you confess to me?” Hailey was very curious.

Finn answered her, ”What if you didn’t like me? Wouldn’t that be awkward? Then not even friends we could be.”

”So you’re sure I like you now? Why did you suddenly confess?”

”Because of Melissa Merce.” Finn clearly stated, ”I didn’t want you to misunderstand, so in that sense, I have to thank her appearance.”

Actually, Hailey was also a bit envious of Melissa since she knew Finn earlier.

Soon enough, the car stopped in the courtyard of the Hale family.

The romantic setup for the proposal was still there. After getting out of the car, Finn held Hailey’s hand and walked towards the living room.

Paige had already gone out; only Sister May was there.

Hailey formally introduced, ”Sister May, his name is Finn Morgan, my boyfriend.”

”Congratulations, congratulations.” Sister May was especially happy, ”Hello, Mr. Morgan.” and respectfully bowed to him.

”Come upstairs with me quickly!” Hailey joyfully pulled Finn upstairs.

The villa was large, perfectly arranged, and decoratively understated yet luxurious.

Hailey brought Finn to her bedroom, ”Now it’s even; you can freely explore my private space too!”

Finn immediately noticed the large poster over the bed—Anton Miller.

He stepped towards the bedhead, increasingly displeased by the sight.

Hailey followed his gaze and awkwardly explained, ”That... is just a normal fangirl thing.”

Finn, however, gently started to tear down the poster, smiling, his voice incredibly gentle, ”You know, his looks are really good; I’ll get you a bigger one since this is too small.”

As his words fell, he had rolled up the poster and turned back to look at her with a smile.

The girl was completely puzzled, ”A bigger one?”

”Yes, a bigger one,” Finn said with a reluctant smile.
