Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 758: Chapter 758: Keeping Her Is a Menace

Just such a small detail warmed Hailey’s heart.

Indeed, a woman in love is easily satisfied.

Since Finn needed to attend a meeting, Hailey didn’t try to keep him. After a simple hug, she watched him go downstairs.

She stood by the window watching the car leave.

Hailey returned to bed, sat cross-legged, and earnestly admired her boyfriend’s portrait, focusing on those deep and loving eyes.

When she looked into those eyes, it was as if she were making eye contact with him.

This feeling was particularly nice.

Finn went straight back to the office, and as he stepped out of the elevator, Barbara Sutton, who was holding some documents and heading his way, stopped awkwardly.

Her cheeks were still a bit swollen; Hailey hadn’t held back.

Finn glanced at her as he walked past, heading directly to the CEO’s office.

Barbara was so flustered she forgot to greet him. Listening to his footsteps fade away, she glanced back, seeing Finn not looking back at all.

Watching him walk into the CEO’s office.

And Barbara knew CEO Kingston was in there.

So, with a tightness in her chest, she quickly tiptoed back... and arrived outside the CEO’s office, straining her ears.

”The first set of finished products is done and looks beautiful. It will be showcased at the meeting shortly,” Justin Kingston said, pleasantly surprised. ”It exceeded my expectations.”

Finn was also delighted, ”President Lane deserves most of the credit for this.”

”Yes, she has played an indispensable role. Excellent design, great raw diamonds, and our team’s cohesion are truly a sign of everything coming together perfectly.”

”CEO Kingston.” Finn, preparing the meeting materials, spoke up, ”Let’s replace Barbara Sutton.”

Outside the door, the girl’s heart skipped a beat.

”What happened?” Justin asked, ”What did she do wrong?”

Finn candidly replied, ”Hailey was previously accused online of being a third party, and those defamatory comments were anonymously posted by her.”

”So, it’s not a work-related mistake?” Justin didn’t make any comments, just casually asked, ”She likes you.”

”Setting aside personal feelings, I believe this is a character issue,” Finn stated bluntly. ”A person with character issues would only be a scourge in the company.”

Outside, Barbara’s entire body tensed up!

Inside, Justin nodded in agreement.

Finn continued, ”She was brought on by Monica Usher, and I don’t think there’s a need to keep her, especially since Hailey has been with the company for a while now. She has strong business skills and high efficiency.”

”Alright.” Justin told him, ”You handle it.”

”Thank you, CEO Kingston.”

Hearing this, Barbara felt her heart grow cold. She hurried back to the deputy manager’s office and sat in her chair, lost in thought for a long time.

It seemed... her days at Kingston Group were numbered, calculated in hours.

”No way...” She thought calmly, her mind in turmoil, ”I can’t let them fire me; I need to resign first.”

So, she opened the drawer, took out some paper and a pen, and began to write a resignation letter.

”Barbara Sutton.”

At the sound, she looked up and saw Finn standing at the door. He knocked on the open door, ”The meeting is about to start, you need to jot down the key points.”

”Yes...”

Until Finn’s figure disappeared from view, Barbara had a strong premonition that after completing the meeting notes, she wouldn’t need to return the next day.

As long as she was at Kingston Group, she had no right to refuse.

Besides, why would she refuse?

Getting the first glimpse of the True Love series’ first set of products, wasn’t this a great honor?

So, she made some brief preparations and got up to head to the conference room.

This meeting was of a very high caliber, gathering all the company’s executives and chief designers.

A familiar silver trunk was placed on the long mahogany conference table, right in front of Justin Kingston.

Barbara sat in her designated seat, her gaze fixed unwaveringly on that trunk.
