Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

The Kumo command camp was not far from Konoha’s command camp.

At a shinobi’s pace, it would not take long to arrive.

About an hour later.

A and Killer B had already arrived not far from the reported location of Konoha’s command camp.

It was right near the crater Seiryū had previously blasted out with a Cero.

Looking at the pitted and devastated scene, Killer B frowned slightly. ”It actually caused this much destruction.”

Afterward, he sensed it carefully.

He discovered that faint, very distinct Chakra fluctuations still lingered in the surroundings.

After a moment of surprise, Killer B realized something and said in a deep voice, ”The residual Chakra is extremely violent, evil, and chaotic. It is very similar to Tailed Beast Chakra. This place might have been bombarded by a Tailed Beast Ball.”

Only a Tailed Beast possessed such violent, evil, and chaotic Chakra.

The nearby crater also looked like it had been formed by the bombardment of a Tailed Beast Ball.

Killer B made this deduction.

Upon hearing this, A’s expression also sank. ”Tailed Beast Ball? Did Konoha let the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki arrive on this battlefield?”

The Jinchuriki of every village were no secret nowadays.

Konoha only had one Nine-Tails, and the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was Kushina.

She was also the woman of that Konoha shinobi, Minato, who had once blocked them.

Did Konoha let the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki go to the battlefield?

”That’s not right. The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki can’t control the power of the Tailed Beast at all. How could they let her go to the battlefield?”

But soon, A remembered something else.

As far as he knew.

Among all current Jinchuriki, only his sworn brother, Killer B, could fully utilize the power of a Tailed Beast.

Even the Four-Tails and Five-Tails Jinchuriki of Iwagakure could not utilize it perfectly.

They could only borrow a portion of the Tailed Beast’s power.

Killer B’s tone carried some gravity. ”Konoha doesn’t just have one Tailed Beast now.”

”When Konoha hosted the joint Chunin Exams, that so-called strongest genius of Konoha, Seiryū, used a type of Chakra similar to a Tailed Beast.”

”He even unleashed a Tailed Beast Ball with shape transformation.”

Regarding Konoha’s strongest genius, Seiryū.

This name was also very famous among the major shinobi villages.

Especially after the joint Chunin Exams, this name could be said to have resounded throughout the Shinobi World.

After all, a Genin capable of controlling the power of a Tailed Beast was worth paying attention to in any shinobi village!

It would not be an exaggeration to say he became famous overnight!

Many people were also very interested in the source of that Tailed Beast-like Chakra within Konoha’s strongest genius, Seiryū.

They wanted to get to the bottom of it.

However, there was no specific intelligence.

”Is that so?”

A also recalled that there was indeed such a person in Konoha and snorted coldly. ”He seems to be a disciple of the Sannin Jiraiya, just like Minato, right?”

That past encounter.

It made him remember the person called Minato thoroughly.

So much so that he had some understanding of Minato’s situation.

”Yo yo, he is a disciple of the Sannin Jiraiya and Tsunade!”

Killer B continued, his tone sounding like rap. ”Being accepted as a disciple by two of the Sannin, the other party is indeed a genius with exceptional talent. I heard he is also a member of the Uzumaki Clan.”

”If he is allowed to grow up, I’m afraid he will become a troublesome guy!”

”He is just a guy who hasn’t experienced the cruelty of the battlefield yet. No matter how powerful his talent is, it needs time to be realized!”

Regarding this, A did not take it to heart much and said indifferently, ”At best, he is just a lucky brat who can use a portion of the Tailed Beast’s power!”

Talent was strong, but it also needed time to be realized.

In his mind.

The other party was just a lucky guy who could use a portion of the Tailed Beast’s power.

He could not be compared to his brother, Killer B, at all!

After all, Killer B could perfectly utilize the Tailed Beast’s power.

He was a perfect Jinchuriki in the true sense!

Killer B looked at A and asked, ”Big brother, what should we do now? Charge in directly?”

A looked ahead, his tone cold and resolute. ”Of course. No matter who it is, even if Konoha’s Hokage arrives in person, they cannot stop us!”

With the strength of the two brothers.

Even if Konoha’s Hokage arrived in person, they would not be afraid!

This pent-up anger needed to be vented!

”Yo yo, stupid, jerk, then let’s kill our way in. Numbers are useless in front of us!”

Killer B said his catchphrase while shaking his head, but his tone carried killing intent.

War only looked at positions, not anything else. If their positions were different, they were enemies.

If they were enemies, there was no need to show mercy.

This was the psychological preparation that everyone who stepped onto the battlefield had long since made.

”Then let’s give Konoha a gift first. It’s not like only they know how to use a Tailed Beast Ball, yo-i!”

Killer B struck a strange pose, his right hand held high.

Afterward, he communicated with the Eight-Tails, Gyuki, in his iron-clad sealing space. ”Yo yo, buddy, lend me some Chakra!”

Hearing this, the Eight-Tails, Gyuki, opened its eyes, yawned lazily, and said, ”If you want it, just take it yourself.”

”Hehaha! Yo yo! As expected of my partner, so generous!”

Killer B danced around, striking one pose after another, and finally stopped.

He showed a smile. ”Okay, let’s give Konoha a taste of our power, Yura!”

Hum!

As his voice fell.

A vast, powerful Chakra fluctuation surged and erupted from Killer B’s body.

The next moment.

Dark red, ferocious Chakra spewed out from every acupuncture point on his body, forming a dark red Chakra cloak over Killer B’s body.

Swish, swish, swish!

One, two, three.

Almost instantly, six wildly thrashing Chakra tails extended from behind Killer B’s Tailed Beast cloak.

Every time they whipped around, they stirred up violent winds that swept through the surroundings.

Dust was kicked up and blown everywhere!

The Semi-Tailed Beast Transformation of a Jinchuriki borrowing Tailed Beast Chakra!

”Hoo.”

The semi-Tailed Beast transformed Killer B turned into a terrifying dark red monster with six tails thrashing behind him.

The heavy Chakra made the surrounding air seem to solidify, becoming incomparably heavy!

Killer B opened his mouth and spat out white steam, as if what flowed in his body was not blood, but boiling magma!

Hum, hum, hum.

Afterward, he got down on all fours and raised his head.

Red and blue Chakra gathered above his raised head. Amidst the humming sound, the Chakra was highly compressed and condensed, gradually forming a chaotic-colored Chakra sphere!

Tailed Beast Ball!

Crack!

The heavy Chakra of the Tailed Beast Ball caused the ground beneath Killer B’s feet to collapse and sink.

Cracks spread out!

Hum, hum, hum.

The red and blue Chakra was still condensing, maintaining balance at a specific ratio, and its size gradually began to grow, reaching over twenty meters.

”Yo yo, can this form only reach this level? But it’s just a gift, so it’s enough!”

Killer B discovered that he could only unleash this level of power in the Semi-Tailed Beast Transformation state.

But it was enough.

It was just a greeting!

Boom, boom, boom!

As Killer B’s thought moved, the condensed Tailed Beast Ball was tossed out with a flick of his head, turning into a cannonball as it blasted forward.

Wherever it passed.

The ground was plowed into a long gully by the heavy Chakra sphere.

Protruding rocks, tall trees, the explosive tag formations set up by Konoha, and the Konoha shinobi guarding the outer perimeter here.

Under the bombardment of the Tailed Beast Ball, everything was torn apart, destroyed, and instantly defeated!

And the target of the Tailed Beast Ball was very clear.

Straight at the Konoha command camp ahead!

As for what kind of destruction it would cause?

Killer B did not care. This was just a greeting!

”Hmm?”

Meanwhile.

Seiryū, who was bored while listening to Shikaku, Inoichi, Tsunade, and the others discuss how to deal with Kumo, seemed to perceive something at this moment.

His eyes narrowed slightly, and then the corners of his mouth curled up. ”A Tailed Beast Ball? Sure enough, they won’t just let it go!”

Swish!

Already aware of the specific situation, Seiryū did not hesitate. His figure flashed and disappeared directly.

”Heaven’s pride, iron-built walls, dragon movement, lion roar, tiger howl, wolf run, cut off the world before it collapses.”

Appearing in position, Seiryū saw the Tailed Beast Ball, over twenty meters in size, roaring toward him.

However, Seiryū chanted the Kidō unhurriedly.

Then he formed a seal with his left hand and waved his right hand down. ”Bakudō 81: Danku!”

Hum!

After the chant, the powered-up Wall of Void appeared out of thin air.

It displayed the powerful defensive power of this Bakudō in this world in the form of a sealing barrier!

Rumble!

The Tailed Beast Ball, which had forcefully blasted through everything, hit the Wall of Void head-on, but it only caused the Wall of Void to shake slightly.

Afterward.

A terrifying roar that shook the surrounding earth resounded!

The terrifying power contained within the flaming and unstable Tailed Beast Ball erupted at this moment.

It turned into a shocking shockwave that shot out in all directions!

Such impact power was blocked by Danku, unable to break through the defense of the Wall of Void.

It swept across from both the left and right sides, and the rear also churned violently, the chaotic impact scraping up a large layer of the ground.

[Ding, encountered a beast-type Hollow again. This beast-type Hollow is already an Adjuchas-level Menos Grande. Its strength cannot be underestimated and far exceeds the Hollows the host has encountered before!

But the host is the future Soul King who will rule the Three Realms and will take stabilizing the Three Realms as his primary task. Hollows are fallen evil souls and also the root cause of the destruction of the balance of the Three Realms!

Please purify the Adjuchas-level beast-type Hollow before you and strive to maintain the stability of the Three Realms!

Task released: Purify the Adjuchas-level beast-type Hollow!

Task reward: Hadō 88: Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!]

Just after Seiryū blocked the bombardment of the Tailed Beast Ball, the system suddenly sounded a prompt tone.

Listening to the system prompt in his mind, Seiryū curled his lips into a smile. ”Sure enough, encountering a Tailed Beast will trigger the system to release tasks. Hmm, should I find some time to look for the Jinchuriki of other shinobi villages and farm tasks?”

So far.

As long as he encountered a Tailed Beast or abnormal Chakra points.

The system would treat them as Hollows and release tasks.

This was a good method to refresh tasks!

He had to find time to look for the Jinchuriki of other shinobi villages and farm tasks.

”Did they come?”

Thinking about this, Seiryū looked forward.

He saw two figures rushing over at high speed!

They were none other than the Third Raikage’s son, A, and the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, Killer B!

”Yo yo, stupid, jerk, you actually blocked the attack of the Tailed Beast Ball?”

Killer B still maintained the Semi-Tailed Beast Transformation form with six tails.

In this state, he also possessed perception ability.

His gaze fell on Seiryū immediately, and his tone carried some surprise. ”A sealing barrier. Indeed, an amazing brat!”

Just now, they had also seen the scene where the Tailed Beast Ball was blocked.

Using a sealing barrier to block the attack of the Tailed Beast Ball.

What a terrifying brat!

At this time.

The Eight-Tails, Gyuki, spoke to Killer B in the sealing space, its tone becoming solemn. ”Be careful, B. This is a type of Sage Art!”

”That brat is just like Senju Hashirama used to be. He has already mastered Sage Art. Don’t be careless.”

That Sealing Jutsu just now had the Chakra fluctuation of Sage Art.

Regarding Sage Art.

It was not unfamiliar with it at all.

Not to mention the Six Paths Sage of the past, just take Senju Hashirama of the Warring States Period.

Sage Art plus Wood Release, even if all nine of them, the Tailed Beasts, went together, they would be beaten until they had no temper left.

”Sage Art?”

Killer B muttered.

At his level, he was not unfamiliar with Sage Art. Although he had not seen it with his own eyes, he knew of this power called Sage Art.

He could not help but become vigilant!

Sage Art was very strong.

It was not easy to deal with!

Killer B looked at A and reminded him, ”Big brother, be careful. Gyuki said that brat has already mastered Sage Art.”

”Plus the fact that the other party can use that kind of Tailed Beast-like Chakra and is also a member of the Uzumaki Clan.”

Thinking carefully.

The other party was not even twelve years old, yet he could already use a portion of Tailed Beast-like Chakra and had learned and mastered Sage Art.

It was simply too absurd.

”Sage Art? Another shinobi who can use Sage Art has appeared. Then we can’t let the other party live. Let’s take this opportunity to eliminate this threat!”

A narrowed his eyes slightly, and there was also some surprise in his heart.

A shinobi who could use Sage Art?

It could not help but remind him of the God of Shinobi, Senju Hashirama, recorded in Kumo’s hidden intelligence.

He could not let this brat grow up!

Possessing such strength at this age, his talent was too far beyond common sense. He had to take this opportunity to nip the other party in the bud!

Perceiving the killing intent of A, the son of the Third Raikage and the future Fourth Raikage, Seiryū showed a strange smile on his face.

It seemed a bit excited. ”This isn’t very good, is it? Showing me such killing intent the first time we meet?”

”Although our positions are different and we are enemies upon meeting, isn’t this a bit too much? If I didn’t know better, I would think I was some kind of heinous person.”

Killing intent!

Showing such killing intent toward him just upon meeting.

This was really, too interesting!

And just when Seiryū perceived the killing intent of the Raikage’s son, A.

The system sounded a prompt tone again.

[Ding, the Soul Society region is vast, and there are many strong people in the Rukongai. This wandering soul not only colluded with the Hollow, the source of chaos, but also harbored killing intent toward the host, who is currently a formal Shinigami and the future ruler of the Three Realms!

This is a taboo and a sin that brings disaster to one side!

Please host, make a response that befits your status!

Task released: Solve this incident!

Task reward: Corresponding rewards determined based on the host’s performance!]

The system refreshed two tasks at once, which was a pleasant surprise for Seiryū.

(To be continued.)
