Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Sigh, moral decay and corruption are everywhere. As an adult, she actually needs me, a child, to take care of her. How unreliable!”

Looking at Tsunade, who was already drunk, her cheeks flushed as she slumped over the dining table, Seiryū could not help sighing.

Although Tsunade had not scammed him this time.

She had paid the bill.

But what was with getting drunk like this?

And making him take care of her!

Seriously.

She did not act like an adult at all!

’Whoosh!’

Shaking his head helplessly, Seiryū helped the drunken Tsunade up and used the Flying Thunder God Technique to return to Tsunade’s home.

He helped Tsunade onto her bed.

Looking at Tsunade, who seemed to be asleep, Seiryū brushed her golden bangs aside and muttered to himself, ”You don’t have to put so much pressure on yourself. Just doing your best is enough...”

Did Tsunade have no feelings for Konoha?

Of course, that was impossible.

After all, this was her home.

Now that the situation in the Ninja World was turbulent and war was imminent, Tsunade, as someone already designated as the Fourth Hokage, would naturally feel pressure.

Perhaps Tsunade was not mentally prepared yet.

This time, getting drunk was different from the past.

It was Tsunade’s way of releasing the pressure in her heart.

”I will help you too. Konoha is your home, and it’s also my home. Uh... should I say it’s our shared home? Huh? Why does that make it sound like I’m marrying into the family?”

”Oh, although I’m from the Uzumaki Clan, I don’t have the Uzumaki surname, and I don’t even have the Kurenai surname. Marrying into the family doesn’t seem impossible, but this bad woman doesn’t seem to have a surname anymore, right?”

”No, I can’t marry into the family. If I marry into the Senju Clan, what will happen to Kurenai, Rin, and Queen-nee? And there’s also Hina-nee hidden away at home. Hmm... does she count too?”

As Seiryū spoke, his thoughts started to drift.

In any case, marrying into the family was impossible.

He had other people he liked.

If he married into the family, he would not be able to legally and properly exercise the rights of the Regent of Rōran.

He would not let down those who liked him, or those he liked.

Shaking these thoughts from his mind, Seiryū leaned in closer, looking at Tsunade’s beautiful face.

He could not help nodding inwardly. ”But I have to say, this face really is beautiful.”

”It’s just that her fashion sense is too poor. She wears this military green coat all day. I don’t know what kind of taste that is...”

”I’ll have to change her fashion sense in the future. Stockings... I won’t let others see that, but her clothes need to be carefully chosen, and her hairstyle needs some changes too...”

Tsunade’s fashion sense was on par with Kurenai’s from before.

It was terrible.

Wearing that military green coat all day really did not fit Seiryū’s aesthetic.

He would have to buy her better-looking clothes in the future!

The character art for Tsunade in the Naruto mobile game from his past life was quite good.

Those beautiful clothes paired with Tsunade’s appearance were simply perfect.

He had to admit.

It was precisely because he saw those character designs in his past life that Seiryū liked Tsunade so much.

Seiryū poked Tsunade’s fair cheek and curled his lip. ”And isn’t she being way too unguarded? Although I’m still young, I’m still male, and a male who likes you at that. Isn’t this giving me an opportunity?”

”Hmm, sneaking a kiss shouldn’t be discovered, right?”

Looking at Tsunade’s rosy lips, Seiryū could not help recalling that kiss from before.

He really wanted to kiss her right now.

But after thinking about it, he felt it was too perverted, so he decisively gave up on the idea. ”Forget it. That would make me a pervert. There will be opportunities in the future...”

Let him clarify first.

It was not that he did not have the guts.

It was just that doing this would really be too sleazy and too perverted.

Seiryū, who had always considered himself a good person, could not do such a thing.

After tucking Tsunade in, Seiryū poked her cheek again and patted her head. Hmm, the feeling was nice.

”Have a good sleep...”

Looking at the sleeping Tsunade, Seiryū only smiled.

Then, his figure flashed.

He had already left using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

”What a brat...”

Shortly after Seiryū left, Tsunade suddenly opened her eyes, a faint smile curling on her lips.

The flush on her face, whether from the alcohol or something else, still remained.

Regardless, paired with her smile, she looked charming and exceptionally beautiful.

It made one want to take a bite.

Tsunade turned over lazily, fully revealing her beautiful figure.

She narrowed her eyes and muttered, ”I actually quite like this outfit. What’s wrong with it? Since he thinks it doesn’t look good, why didn’t he say so before? This kid really has a lot on his mind...”

”Stockings... Heh, he won’t let others see? He’s quite possessive... What a jerk. Why do you like so many people? I really want to hit you...”

Muttering to herself, Tsunade felt the pressure on her body and the heaviness in her heart ease quite a bit.

Then she fell into a deep sleep.

...

In the Forest of Death.

Seiryū’s figure appeared.

”Let me study the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique first. I hope I can successfully unlock the Quincy combat style, Heilig Pfeil, as I imagined...”

Seiryū composed himself.

He began practicing the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.

In terms of Genjutsu, Seiryū’s talent was also top-notch.

However, the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique was different from ordinary Genjutsu. It required refining Yin Release chakra properties and applying them.

It was somewhat different from ordinary Genjutsu.

Fortunately, Seiryū was exceptionally talented. There were few Ninjutsu he could not learn.

Coupled with the joint efforts of hundreds of shadow clones, he had already found some tricks in just half a day.

At this rate, he estimated that he could successfully master the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique in less than a day.

However, mastering the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique was not the point. The point was how to apply the Yin Release chakra property to materialize chakra into specific forms.

Over the next few days, the war between Kirigakure and Sunagakure intensified.

And according to information sent by spies, the other ninja villages were also starting to stir. Some had even already taken action.

However, the flames of war that would engulf the entire Ninja World had not yet ignited.

Seiryū kept an eye on how the situation developed while continuing his training methodically.

And today.

Seiryū finally unlocked the most common combat style of the Quincy, Heilig Pfeil.

’Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!’

Seiryū materialized the chakra in his body, condensing it into a blue chakra bow and arrow.

He drew the bow and nocked the arrow.

The arrow was also formed from materialized blue chakra.

As Seiryū released it, blue arrows shot toward the tall trees ahead at a speed difficult for the naked eye to capture.

Piercing sounds of air being torn apart rang out one after another, and the arrows pierced straight through the tall trees in front of him.

”It’s been less than an hour, and I can already hit whatever I aim at. This reward of increased aptitude is truly remarkable...”

Looking at the destruction caused by Heilig Pfeil, Seiryū was also very satisfied.

After less than an hour of practice, he could already hit whatever he aimed at.

The reward of aptitude improvement had indeed made some of Seiryū’s talents quite monstrous.

Give him a few more days to practice, and he estimated that even Hawkeye from Marvel would be surpassed by him in archery.

He did not continue practicing.

Seiryū controlled the chakra, constantly changing its shape, turning it into swords, ninja tools, and a chibi version of little Tsunade.

Seiryū rubbed his chin and muttered to himself, ”This situation can only be considered a special application technique of chakra. At most, it has some connection to Yin Release chakra property...”

This was a special chakra application technique.

Strictly speaking, it could not even be considered a jutsu.

It only had some connection to Yin Release chakra property.

Or perhaps it would be more appropriate to describe it as a special non-hand-seal Ninjutsu.

Seiryū thought of other things again. ”The reason the Truth-Seeking Ball can change shapes at will should be because the Yin Release chakra property plays a role.”

”So... can I try integrating the other six chakra properties in the future to develop a Truth-Seeking Ball?”

The Truth-Seeking Ball was a type of Yin-Yang Release jutsu.

It was a special product formed by the fusion of seven chakra properties, able to nullify all jutsu that were not Senjutsu or Taijutsu.

This was a Six Paths-level jutsu!

The principle was not complicated to explain, so could he develop it himself?

Theoretically, it was feasible.

It was just that actually doing it would be quite difficult.

Seiryū pondered. ”Speaking of which, this can also be considered a special non-hand-seal Ninjutsu, right? Then it should be possible to integrate other chakra properties to increase its power, and the final product in that case should be the Truth-Seeking Ball...”

A single thought could materialize chakra, and after shape transformation, it could become various forms.

This could be counted as a special non-hand-seal Ninjutsu.

The Rasengan was just a ball.

Then integrating other chakra properties was obviously feasible.

And the final product should be the Truth-Seeking Ball.

This aroused great curiosity in Seiryū.

He decided to try it out in the future.

One always needed to have a goal and a dream.

Perhaps the Six Paths level and Kekkei Mōra level were necessary paths to becoming the Soul King in the Naruto World.

After all, the abilities given by the system, along with its judgment of things, all appeared based on things related and common to this world.

The Six Paths level and near Six Paths level were equal to those existences standing at the top of the Bleach World, while Kekkei Mōra was equal to the ruler of the Three Realms, the Soul King.

It was also normal.

This had nothing to do with comparing the top powers of the two worlds.

It was just that there were connections and commonalities between them.

That was how the system judged it.

Seiryū continued making judgments based on what he knew. ”The reason Dragon Vein chakra, Susanoo, and Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain can be materialized and condensed into form is because of the special nature of the chakra itself.”

”Although they can be materialized and condensed into form, they can’t undergo further shape changes. They’re like preset programs...”

Susanoo, Dragon Vein chakra, Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain.

These were all concrete expressions of materialized chakra.

However, they could not undergo further shape changes.

It was as if they had been set to a specific shape.

This was also the reason why Seiryū could not use Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain or Dragon Vein chakra to condense a chakra bow.

Even if he could forcibly set it into the shape of a bow and arrow, it would quickly become unstable, just like chakra that had lost its master’s control, becoming uncontrollable.

He could not perform Heilig Pfeil.

”Fortunately, now that I’ve mastered this chakra application technique, I’ve unlocked Heilig Pfeil and solved another obsessive-compulsive issue.”

”Later, I’ll try to see if I can integrate other chakra property changes into Heilig Pfeil to increase its power...”

”I also need to try to complete the task of developing and perfecting Quincy power...”

Seiryū smiled.

The power of Heilig Pfeil created by the special technique of Yin Release chakra property was already quite impressive.

So if other property changes were added, would its power increase?

It should.

The Yin Release chakra property was only used to maintain and change the shape of the chakra, not to cast it as a jutsu.

That was why it was called a special chakra application technique.

The Rasengan could integrate other chakra properties, so Heilig Pfeil should be able to as well.

In this way, Seiryū would not only be able to make different Rasengan in the future, but also shoot different arrows.

The kind that did not even require hand seals.

Seiryū’s attack methods had increased again.

Having many methods meant being able to handle more situations.

Especially on a chaotic battlefield.

Using a bow and arrow for long-range sniping was both safe and highly efficient at killing the enemy.

Even if someone got close to him, Seiryū still had the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Even without the Flying Thunder God Technique, Seiryū had plenty of close-range combat methods.

What was called all-around?

This was all-around.

The kind with no weaknesses in any aspect.

”Speaking of tasks...”

Then, Seiryū remembered things related to the task and guessed, ”In the system’s judgment, Quincy and Sage Mode have a connection. To complete this task, perhaps I need to start from Sage Mode...”

In Bleach.

The higher the concentration of Quincy blood, the stronger the talent and power displayed.

Even the Sternritter of the Wandenreich obtained stronger power because they ingested the blood of the Quincy ancestor, Yhwach.

They could activate Vollständig and master their Schrift abilities.

Otherwise, why would Quincy be divided into pure-blood Quincy and mixed-blood Quincy?

Blood purity itself could be considered a manifestation of Quincy strength and talent.

So, since the system linked Sage Mode with Quincy power.

Could it mean one thing? That in the system’s judgment, the strength of Sage Mode was related to and shared commonalities with the concentration of Quincy blood.

If that was the case, in this world, increasing the strength of Sage Mode might be equivalent to developing and perfecting Quincy power.

And in Seiryū’s vision, Sage Mode was a manifestation of Yang Release chakra. So combining the Sage Mode of the Three Great Sage Regions might possibly give birth to Yang Power.

A single Sage Mode was not the end of this power system.

The representative of Yang Power was the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama. Or rather, Ashura, the son of the Sage of Six Paths.

To say that the blood concentration was extremely high would be an understatement.

Perfectly fusing the Sage Mode of the Three Great Sage Regions would be equivalent to developing and perfecting Quincy power. This possibility existed.

Because the system was unreliable.

Seiryū only needed to find the connections and commonalities between them, and the system itself would make the judgment.

This was very user-friendly.

The system could not be viewed with common sense.

As long as there was a degree of rationality, the necessary conditions and factors could be unlocked.

For such a long time, Seiryū had been making his way forward step by step like this.

After all, in the system’s judgment.

Tailed Beast equaled Hollow, Kekkei Genkai equaled Fullbring, Sage Mode equaled Quincy power, Shinigami equaled ninja.

All because it was very rational.

That was why it allowed Seiryū to master these powers in this world.

These powers had undergone some changes based on the differences in this world.

It was like this before, and it would be like this in the future. This was how the system judged things.

Seiryū had merely grasped this pattern. As for whether his conjecture was correct, he would know when he tried it later.

”I also have to find time to go to Mount Myōboku and Ryūchi Cave. Plus, I need to try integrating other properties into Heilig Pfeil, and with the war coming, I’m actually quite busy when I think about it...”

Seiryū exhaled slowly.

He was getting busier and busier.
