Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

Looking at Seiryū’s movements, Tsunade and Katsuyu were both somewhat silent.

What was going on?

Was there a difference in the power of the Sage Art?

It was clearly the same Ninjutsu, so why did the power increase so much after Seiryū ”recited poetry”?

Tsunade looked at Seiryū blankly and asked the question in her heart, ”Why?”

”Why what?”

Tsunade’s question brought Seiryū back from his thoughts. He looked at Tsunade, feeling puzzled. ”It’s Sage Art, isn’t it?”

”Why is it that both are Raikōhō, and both are performed using Senjutsu chakra, yet the power of Raikōhō is stronger after reciting poetry?”

”Didn’t I say it? Chanting improves my concentration. The power of a technique is related to one’s own strength and the level of mastery over that technique. The higher my concentration, the stronger my understanding and application of the technique, and the power unleashed will naturally increase.”

Seiryū naturally knew that this difference would make people curious.

However, there was room to explain it.

The power of a technique depended on many factors.

Could someone else’s Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu be compared to Madara’s Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu?

The same logic applied to Hadō with or without incantation!

Don’t ask.

If you asked, it was because he, Seiryū, was a genius.

Geniuses were unreasonable.

Tsunade stared at Seiryū and said slowly, ”Teach me. I want to learn!”

Improving concentration could also lead to a stronger understanding and application of a technique?

Although it was unbelievable, it could still be explained.

The point was whether she could learn it.

”How do you teach something like concentration?”

Seiryū felt a bit helpless.

This was a special feature of Hadō, and also his own special trait.

How could he teach it to others?

Thinking about it, Seiryū suggested, ”How about I customize some more difficult problem sets for you? Once you can calmly solve all the problems in the problem set.”

”Then your attention and concentration will be effectively improved, and perhaps you can have a deeper understanding and application of the technique.”

”Forget it, I’m not learning it.”

Tsunade interrupted Seiryū, the corners of her eyes beginning to twitch slightly.

Solving more difficult problem sets?

She did not want to do such torturous things. This was even more annoying than practicing Sage Art.

She could not learn it and did not want to learn it!

”You’re giving up too quickly, aren’t you?”

Seiryū’s mouth twitched.

The power of the problem sets was as strong as ever.

Even this wicked woman, Tsunade, would feel a chill when they were mentioned.

”Essentially, it’s still about understanding and applying the technique. Even if I don’t grind through problem sets, it should be the same as long as I practice diligently.”

Tsunade had her own understanding.

Anyway, she did not want to even touch Seiryū’s problem sets.

”Oh, then never mind.”

Seiryū nodded.

Ambitious. He liked it!

”Let’s have a battle. I want to see your strength after mastering Sage Mode. I also have many things I don’t understand about this special Sage Mode of mine.”

Seiryū thought for a moment.

He said this to Tsunade.

He had not yet learned about Tsunade’s strength after activating Sage Mode.

He was also a bit unclear about his own situation, which he did not know whether it counted as Sage Mode.

Battle was always the best way to familiarize oneself with one’s own power.

Hmm.

Mainly, he wanted to judge Tsunade’s strength.

He had a dream.

Katsuyu: ”.”

In your situation.

Could that even be considered Sage Mode?

”.”

Tsunade wanted to refuse.

She did not know what this kid was planning.

She did not really want to fight this kid.

However, after she learned Sage Mode.

She had not fought anyone yet.

She had just learned a relatively perfect Sage Mode and started guiding Seiryū in Sage Art practice.

Now the situation in the shinobi world was becoming increasingly strange, and war could break out at any time.

She also needed to understand her own strength.

Sparring with Seiryū was conducive to judging her own strength.

Thinking of this, Tsunade did not refuse and nodded. ”Exactly. I also need to get familiar with the changes that Sage Mode brings to my strength.”

”Come, come, come. Hurry up and enter Sage Mode!”

Hearing Tsunade agree, Seiryū urged impatiently.

Tsunade glanced at Seiryū and could not be bothered to respond.

She sat down cross-legged on her own and began to condense Senjutsu chakra.

About a minute passed.

When Tsunade opened her eyes again, she had already entered Sage Mode!

Feeling the power in her body, Tsunade hooked her finger at Seiryū. ”Come on. Let me see if you’ve made progress during this time!”

”Then I won’t be polite!”

Seiryū curled his lips and moved his mind.

Clatter.

Golden Chains spread from behind his back, waving and dancing like tentacles.

Swish, swish, swish!

Seiryū formed seals with one hand.

The surrounding natural energy was absorbed into his body and instantly combined with the mental and physical energy in his body, that is, chakra.

Giving birth to Senjutsu chakra.

The Senjutsu chakra flowed along the Golden Chains and lit up at the tips.

Beams of lightning shot out, tearing through the air.

Hadō #4: Byakurai!

Boom!

Entering Sage Mode, Tsunade’s perception was greatly enhanced.

Sage Mode was the use of natural energy, and everything around her was within her perception.

Activating Sage Mode passively granted Sensor-type Ninjutsu!

She stomped heavily on the ground, and amid the roaring sound, the ground cracked.

A boulder rose from the ground, blocking the incoming lightning beams in front!

Boom, boom, boom!

Dense and continuous attacks landed on the boulder, and the sounds of explosions resounded.

The boulder instantly shattered. Countless pieces of debris shot out, and smoke filled the field.

”Sage Art: Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan!”

Hum, hum, hum!

Amid the high-speed rotating buzzing sound, the wind scraped away all the smoke and dust around them.

The Golden Chains behind Seiryū extended outward.

At the tips, Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan glowing with fluorescence appeared.

And under Seiryū’s control, they smashed down toward Tsunade’s location!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Dense explosions resounded across the field one after another.

Every time an Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan fell, it caused the earth to shake and cracks to spread.

The shockwave spread out.

It was like dense bombs detonating at that moment.

However, Tsunade dodged them one after another.

Perceiving the landing point of the attacks, the Senjutsu chakra in Tsunade’s body surged, erupted at the soles of her feet, and instantly increased her speed.

After activating Sage Mode.

Tsunade’s various aspects were improved.

Her body was the same.

Combined with the use of chakra and the eruption of Monstrous Strength, she was faster than the speed at which the Rasengan fell.

She easily dodged the attacks.

”It’s clearly one person, but it’s as if dozens of people are using Ninjutsu to attack at the same time.”

Tsunade did not dare to be careless and could not help frowning as she whispered.

Although she had not sparred with Seiryū for a while.

She knew very well how abnormal this kid was.

Especially this ”Adamantine Sealing Chains,” which Seiryū called ”Fullbring: Heaven’s Chain,” made the opponent’s attack methods very difficult to deal with.

”Really troublesome!”

The Rasengan falling in front of her could not be dodged, as if it had predicted her evasive movements.

Tsunade’s eyes flashed. She did not dodge or evade, and threw a powerful punch over.

Chakra Enhanced Strength erupted, drawing in the surrounding natural energy.

The two combined.

The power of this punch became incomparably terrifying.

It was not attacking directly with the fist.

But at the moment she punched, natural energy and chakra spewed out and erupted.

Turning into an invisible shock!

Boom!

This punch showed what true violence was. The fist, which was enough to shatter a small mountain, instantly defeated the smashing Rasengan!

Boom!

Tsunade locked onto Seiryū with her perception, her right leg exerted force, and the ground cracked.

Borrowing this reaction force.

Tsunade rushed toward Seiryū’s location like an arrow!

”What Armament Haki, Conqueror’s Haki? Actually erupting attacks from a distance, where did you learn that?”

The punch that violently destroyed the Sage Art: Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan surprised Seiryū as well.

Tsunade after activating Sage Mode.

The degree of her strength improvement was greater than he had imagined.

It was just that her fighting style had not changed. If she was only good at close combat, she would be at a disadvantage against him!

”Speaking words I don’t understand again. Do you still have time to be so leisurely now?”

Tsunade snorted lightly.

She approached Seiryū at high speed.

Boom!

Tsunade swung her right arm and threw a straight punch. The fist vibrated with a terrifying sound of tearing through the air, and the air made a booming sound.

The terrifying punch force bloomed with terrible power, smashing fiercely toward Seiryū’s location!

”I’ve developed quite a few new techniques recently. Let me use you to test their power. Bakudō #81: Dankū!”

Seiryū curled his lips.

He formed seals with one hand and pointed down!

Hum!

Bakudō #81: Dankū, in this world, had changed into a sealing defense technique.

A translucent wall of light appeared instantly, blocking Tsunade’s punch.

And it was performed using Senjutsu chakra, so its power was improved!

Boom!

High-level Bakudō possessed powerful defensive power. Even the Susanoo of the Uchiha Clan might not be as good as the Wall of Void in terms of defense.

Tsunade’s punch, which contained Chakra Enhanced Strength, mobilized natural energy, and erupted with shocking punch force, slammed into it.

It only resounded with one boom!

”Bakudō #81? You kid are really a freak!”

The unstoppable punch was blocked, and Tsunade had a headache.

What amazing move had this kid developed again?

Bakudō #81.

According to her deduction of the naming logic of the Ninjutsu Seiryū developed.

The higher the number at the end, the stronger the power.

It was clearly only #63 before, and now it had been developed to #81?

And this method of presentation was the same as the effect of the previous Bakudō #60: Rikujōkōrō.

It was a sealing technique mainly for defense!

And it was an upgraded version!

Swish, swish, swish!

Before Tsunade could think more, she caught something in her perception, and her face sank slightly.

Chakra erupted under her feet, her speed increased suddenly, and she instantly left the spot.

Also, just as Tsunade left the spot.

Six rays of light locked onto the position she had just been in!

”Close-combat tank healer versus me, an elemental mage shooter. You are naturally restrained by me. If it’s only to this extent, then you’re doomed to lose!”

Seiryū laughed loudly.

He knew Tsunade’s fighting style very well.

As long as she did not get close to him, there would not be much of a threat.

And he could kite Tsunade to death!

”Don’t be happy too early. Once I get close to you, you will know my terror. Wanting to surpass me now is not that easy!”

Tsunade snorted coldly.

However, she was very vigilant in her heart.

As the amount of chakra in Seiryū’s body increased, his terror was further reflected.

Like an army of one, a human-shaped turret.

Various Ninjutsu were performed one after another.

Only by getting close to the opponent would she have a chance of winning!

Boom! Boom, boom, boom!

A more intense battle broke out between the two in the field.

Although it was not a life-and-death battle, it was still very intense.

The roaring sounds continued, and an area in the field was already in a mess.

Pits of various sizes appeared in the field, as if it had been bombarded by dense artillery fire.

Clatter! Boom, boom, boom!

The chains behind Seiryū danced wildly, and various attacks appeared from the tips of the chains.

They smashed down toward Tsunade, who was constantly dodging in front. The roaring sounds and explosions merged into one.

However, they were easily dodged by Tsunade.

If she could not dodge, she would smash them open with her fists.

The battle had been going on for a while.

This scene had also lasted for that long.

’Although I can’t activate Sage Mode, it makes my chakra consumption smaller.’

Looking at Tsunade, who was dodging or smashing his attacks in front, Seiryū made a judgment about his own situation in his heart.

Because he could generate Senjutsu chakra in his body with a single thought.

This greatly reduced Seiryū’s chakra consumption.

Although it was not a perpetual motion machine.

The time he could continue fighting had become longer.

Longer time.

This was a good thing.

In every aspect!

If he used Dragon Vein chakra.

Seiryū felt that he would rarely have times when his chakra was exhausted in the future.

This was a qualitative leap!

The vision of an army of one, a human-shaped turret, was fully reflected at this moment!

And the power of the Quincy.

Seemed to be quite useful?

Could he develop and improve it himself in the future?

Then.

Could things like Blut Vene, Blut Arterie, Hirenkyaku, and Heilig Pfeil be developed?

Quincy Vollständig was a system reward.

He would get rewards once he developed and improved the power of the Quincy himself.

Quincy Vollständig.

In what way would it emerge?

Seiryū was curious!

Boom!

Tsunade smashed the incoming Golden Chains with a punch, and the golden hair tied in a ponytail swung with her movements.

She looked heroic, beautiful, and moving!

”Your fighting style is too disgusting!”

Without continuing to launch an attack, Tsunade was disgusted by Seiryū’s fighting style.

How could there be such a disgusting fighting style?

At mid-to-long range, he had various Ninjutsu and Hadō. At close range, he had Golden Chains for whipping and piercing. When she got a chance to get close and attack, the opponent used defensive sealing techniques to block.

Plus, Seiryū’s speed was not slow, and he had the Flying Thunder God Technique, a Space-Time Ninjutsu.

Furthermore.

Seiryū had already performed who knew how many kinds of techniques, but in her perception, the chakra in the opponent’s body was still full.

There were almost no weaknesses, and no flaws could be found.

Moreover, this was not the state when Seiryū was truly serious.

The opponent could also enter the hollowfied state of Dragon Vein Chakra Mode and could also use the Eight Gates to erupt and improve.

The more she fought, the less confident Tsunade felt.

The current her, who was only good at close combat.

It seemed that she really was restrained by Seiryū.

Could it be that she was no longer Seiryū’s opponent?

Even though she had worked so hard to train and improve her strength, even though she had already trained a very perfect Sage Mode.

She was still being caught up to!

Tsunade’s mood at this time was very complicated.

There was relief that Seiryū’s strength had become stronger, and there was also the sense of loss of being caught up to by Seiryū.

Although she had known long ago that with Seiryū’s talent, he would surpass her sooner or later.

She had not expected it to be so fast.

’And what is this feeling? Could it be that Sage Mode will bring other different enhancements to my body?’

Tsunade muttered in her heart.

The reason why she did not continue to launch an attack.

Was because she was disgusted by Seiryū’s fighting style, and also because she noticed an unusual feeling coming from her body.

As the battle continued, this unusual feeling became more and more intense.

It seemed that her body was about to have some different changes.

Changes brought about by Sage Mode?

Tsunade could not judge, and did not know whether it was good or bad.

So she planned to stop the battle and figure out the situation first.

This feeling was not uncomfortable, nor was it painful. Instead, it was somewhat inexplicably surging.

Seeing that Tsunade did not continue to attack, Seiryū also stopped and shouted at Tsunade, ”Hey, wicked woman, are you still continuing? Do you want to admit defeat?”

”Wait, could this be.”

Tsunade ignored Seiryū, the unusual feeling in her body becoming stronger and stronger.

She seemed to have realized something. Her face froze for a moment, and there was a faint throbbing in her heart.

Could this feeling be.

Taking a deep breath, Tsunade’s eyes were like torches, her hands quickly formed seals, and she whispered, ”Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!”

Swish, swish, swish!

As Tsunade’s seal fell.

An area centered on her began to shake.

Immediately afterward, trees and vines instantly rose from the ground!

(To be continued.)
