Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”No!” Tsunade’s face darkened, and she sternly interrupted Seiryū’s unrealistic idea.

Matters of the heart could be discussed later.

But this kid’s way of thinking had to be changed.

This was an unorthodox idea!

Having her alone was not enough, he wanted other partners?

This kind of thing was absolutely not allowed!

”I can’t be bothered to talk to you anymore. You say I can’t do something that is legal and compliant? In Konoha, I am just an ordinary Ninja, but in Rōran, I am the Prince Regent!”

Seiryū continued to shake his head.

”I spent three million Ryo to buy this. If I don’t make full use of it, wouldn’t I be at a loss?”

This was three million Ryo!

Waste was shameful.

Seiryū, who valued money immensely, expressed this.

This three million Ryo absolutely could not be wasted!

”You must listen to me on this matter!”

Veins began to bulge on Tsunade’s forehead.

She gritted her teeth. ”If you don’t listen, I...”

Her voice paused, and she did not continue.

Instead, she changed her tone. ”I can give you these three million Ryo so you won’t be at a loss, but you cannot be the Prince Regent. You can only be a Konoha Ninja!”

”You’re crazy.”

Seiryū looked at Tsunade as if she were a fool. ”The money is already spent, and being the Prince Regent is just a condition attached to compensating the Queen, so I might as well take it!”

Tsunade: ”...”

It was difficult!

Not only was his perception skewed, but it was also linked to money.

This struck one of Seiryū’s ”tough” nerves completely.

Trying to make Seiryū change this way of thinking was no less difficult than curing this ”ailment” of his.

Such a possibility almost did not exist!

But she could not just let it go!

Growing up in Konoha, Tsunade could only accept monogamy.

Sharing a lover with others... she really could not accept it!

Why were there so many troublesome things with this damn brat?

There was one more thing to worry about.

Ignoring what Tsunade was thinking, Seiryū said, ”Let’s go. Let’s meet up with Kurenai and the others. Don’t we still have a mission to carry out? I also need to heal myself.”

Matters of the heart could wait.

Now was not the time to talk about personal feelings.

Madara had come out to stir up trouble.

No one knew how the future situation would develop.

He needed to become stronger.

This battle with Madara had happened because Madara knew too little about his abilities, which allowed him to seize the opportunity and shatter his body in one blow.

Madara had not fully displayed his strength.

It was true that Seiryū had Kage-level strength when going all out, but there was a time limit.

The Dragon Vein Chakra Mode in the ethereal state and the Eight Gates were all ways to forcibly increase strength, and they could not be sustained for long battles.

”Hoo.”

Tsunade let out a breath and suppressed the complex emotions in her heart.

She said to Seiryū, ”Do you need me to treat you?”

There was still time.

She would consider this matter later.

The appearance of this ”Madara” revealed quite a few things.

It was also a matter that Konoha needed to pay attention to.

He was the second Ninja besides her Great-grandfather who could use Wood Release!

And this ”Madara’s” Wood Release was not the small tricks of Yamato, who had traveled through time before.

It truly possessed some of the power of her Great-grandfather’s Wood Release!

Coupled with the tense situation in the Ninja World, there was a sense that a storm was brewing.

War could break out at any time.

Now was not the time to consider personal feelings.

”No need. It’s nothing serious. I can recover after using Kaidō in a moment.”

This battle had not lasted very long.

Just now, Kaidō had been repairing his injuries, and although there were some injuries, they were not very serious.

”Hmm.”

Tsunade replied.

Seeing that this kid could still use the Flying Thunder God to dodge her fist just now, it was clear that Seiryū was not really injured this time.

The incident had happened.

But Seiryū was not seriously injured, which was a substantial breakthrough!

The two ignored the gazes of the other people from Kusagakure.

With the Flying Thunder God, they arrived at the location where Kurenai and the others were.

Afterward, they continued the mission of escorting the caravan.

After the mission was completed, they set off to return to Konoha.

With the Flying Thunder God Technique, they arrived in Konoha without spending much time.

After returning to the Village, Tsunade took Hina to the Hokage Office.

As for Seiryū, Kurenai, and Shizune, they were not dismissed. Tsunade let them wait outside the Hokage Building for Hina.

Hokage Office.

Looking at the somewhat reserved Hina, Hiruzen took a puff of his pipe.

He said warmly, ”From now on, treat Konoha as your home. No one here will force you to do things you don’t want to do. I can guarantee that.”

Before the Land of Whirlpools was destroyed, it had been an ally of Konoha.

The relationship between the Uzumaki Clan and Konoha was also relatively close.

With Seiryū as a precedent, he naturally would not refuse other members of the Uzumaki Clan living in Konoha.

This was a good thing for Konoha!

”Th-thank you, Hokage-sama!”

Hina was still a bit reserved, and she bowed respectfully to Hiruzen.

Konoha was indeed different from Kusagakure!

Waving his hand indifferently, Hiruzen looked at Tsunade and said slowly, ”Since Hina was brought back by you, I will leave it to you to settle her, Tsunade.”

Although Tsunade had been refusing to serve as the next Hokage, Hiruzen wanted Tsunade to become the Fourth Hokage.

He could slowly test Tsunade’s attitude and slowly change her mind.

Start with some trivial matters.

Slowly guide the other party.

Persistence!

”Hmm, I will arrange it well.”

Tsunade nodded slightly.

On the way back, she had been thinking about how to settle Hina.

It just so happened that Seiryū had a house he did not live in often.

Let Hina live there first.

As for later, she would see what Hina wanted to do herself. She would not interfere too much.

Saving her was an obligation, not because she wanted the other party to repay her for anything.

Looking at Hina, Tsunade said, ”Hina, go find Seiryū and the others first. I have some things to deal with here.”

”Okay!”

Hina nodded.

After bowing respectfully to the two, she left the Hokage Office and went to meet up with Seiryū and the others.

Only Hiruzen and Tsunade were left in the Hokage Office.

”Old Man, I have some things I need to report to you.”

After Hina left, Tsunade did not waste any words.

She stated what had happened during this mission, her face grave. ”During this mission, I encountered a Ninja who had mastered Wood Release. He claimed to be Madara!”

Regarding the matter of ”Madara,” it naturally needed to be reported to her Sensei.

This was not something that could be ignored!

”Madara?”

Hearing this, Hiruzen was stunned for a moment. Then his expression became serious, and he asked in a deep voice, ”What exactly is going on?”

Madara. The people of Konoha knew this name like thunder.

When Madara was active, it had been during his youth.

He knew very well how powerful Madara was!

And what was with the Wood Release?

”I don’t know the specific situation, and whether the other party is Madara still needs to be confirmed, but it is a fact that the other party had mastered the Wood Release that only my Great-grandfather awakened. And he possesses a pair of Mangekyo Sharingan!”

Tsunade continued.

Her peripheral vision was watching Hiruzen, wanting to see something from his expression.

Once, during the Rōran mission, a Wood Release Ninja from the future had already made her very concerned. She had suspected that Konoha might be secretly conducting transplantation experiments of the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai.

It had been a while, and she had not investigated anything relevant. It was hidden extremely well.

Now, mentioning Wood Release... if her Sensei knew something, perhaps she could see something from his expression.

A future Konoha Ninja, Yamato, and a Madara whose authenticity was unknown.

Two Ninjas who were not of the Senju Clan but had mastered the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai.

This was a huge shock to her, the princess of the Senju Clan!

Perhaps she needed to investigate this matter more deeply.

”Wood Release, Mangekyo Sharingan.”

Hiruzen muttered, his expression becoming serious. ”Explain the whole process to me!”

Wood Release, Mangekyo Sharingan. Two of the strongest Kekkei Genkai appeared on the same person?

And he claimed to be Madara?

This matter was of great significance!

”We went to Kusagakure, and in Kusagakure...”

Unable to see anything on Hiruzen’s face, Tsunade narrowed her eyes and stated the general process of the event.

Including Setsuna’s Mangekyo Sharingan.

The box that had the ability to bewitch people’s hearts and could realize wishes upon opening, which was a Ninja tool of the Sage of Six Paths.

As well as Seiryū’s previous judgment that Konoha might have the other party’s spies.

And her own guess that the Uchiha Clan might have contact with this so-called Madara. She said it all.

Silently listening to Tsunade, Hiruzen fell into a long silence.

The things Tsunade revealed were too unusual and extremely serious.

It even concerned the safety of Konoha. He could not help but take it seriously!

”Do you think he is really Madara?”

His brain was running at high speed, absorbing the information revealed by Tsunade.

Rubbing his brow, Hiruzen said, ”In the past, the Second Hokage had already confirmed that the other party was dead. It was impossible to hide it from Sensei’s eyes.”

Madara was still alive?

In his opinion, this possibility was not high!

Because his Sensei, the Second Hokage, Tobirama, had confirmed Madara’s death.

With his Sensei’s discerning eyes, it was impossible for Madara’s feigned death to deceive him!

It was more likely, as Tsunade had guessed, that another Uchiha Clan member was pretending!

Hiruzen took a puff of his pipe and said, ”And Wood Release... besides the First Hokage, who else could master Wood Release? Are you sure you didn’t fall under Genjutsu at the time?”

Although he believed that Tsunade would not lie to him about such things, there were too many unreasonable points.

Just on the point of Wood Release, it was already impossible to trace.

Because he had once conducted transplantation experiments with the First Hokage’s cells, and the result was that there had been no successful cases.

In the end, because the casualties from the experiment were too huge, he had hurriedly stopped such meaningless experiments.

An experiment that had failed even with the power of the whole Village.

Could others have successful cases?

”I didn’t participate in the battle, so naturally, I couldn’t be affected by Genjutsu.”

Tsunade took a piece of broken wood from her Ninja pouch and said lightly, ”This is a fragment of the Wood Release cast by that Madara. The Chakra remaining inside is the same as Great-grandfather’s Wood Release!”

”This special Chakra cannot be faked!”

Pausing, Tsunade told Hiruzen her guess. ”The reason that Madara mastered Wood Release, I suspect, is that the other party conducted Wood Release Kekkei Genkai transplantation experiments, and they succeeded.”

Saying this, Tsunade stared closely at Hiruzen.

Hearing about the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai transplantation experiments and looking at the Wood Release fragment in Tsunade’s hand, Hiruzen’s expression turned unnatural for a moment.

But he quickly hid it, and he said, ”Wood Release Kekkei Genkai transplantation experiments, such a thing... do you think it is possible to succeed?”

Someone had succeeded in the experiment they failed!

And they could cast Wood Release!

Mangekyo Sharingan plus Wood Release.

This matter was becoming more and more serious and more and more difficult to handle!

This moment of unnaturalness from Hiruzen was seen by Tsunade, and her fist clenched unconsciously.

As expected.

Her Sensei knew about this matter and had indeed conducted experiments in this area.

However, there was no other expression on Tsunade’s face, and she said calmly, ”Since Setsuna’s Mangekyo Sharingan was gouged out and transplanted onto that Madara, if the Sharingan can be transplanted, can’t Wood Release?”

Tsunade’s voice became grave. ”There are quite a few things that need to be investigated clearly now.”

”Is that Madara really Madara? Or is it another Uchiha Clan member pretending? Is the Uchiha Clan in contact with the other party? What role are they playing?”

”This is a hidden danger that can threaten the Village, a huge hidden danger!”

Tsunade had feelings for Konoha.

Naturally, she did not want to see any changes in Konoha.

And this matter was very severe!

As the Hokage, Hiruzen naturally knew the seriousness of the matter better than Tsunade.

It was just...

The current information was still too little.

Apart from the Uchiha Clan as an entry point, it seemed that there was nowhere else to investigate.

And the Uchiha Clan.

That kind of thing had happened not long ago.

It was not easy to do anything too extreme to them.

After all, it was just speculation and suspicion.

”I will send people to investigate secretly. Do not reveal this to others for the time being, to avoid unnecessary panic and trouble.”

Sighing, Hiruzen continued, ”Tell me about Setsuna. What’s going on with his Mangekyo Sharingan?”

Madara transplanted Setsuna’s Mangekyo Sharingan.

This was a bit of a flaw in the story!

”At that time, during the battle with Seiryū, Setsuna awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, but he didn’t use it and died under Seiryū’s Cero, the Tailed Beast Ball in the form of shape transformation.”

Tsunade explained, ”Precisely because of this, Seiryū suspected that Konoha had one of that Madara’s spies, and I also inferred that this Madara might be in contact with the Uchiha Clan.”

(To be continued.)
