Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 523: Chapter 56: No. 5 Destruction - Purple Energy Strings_2

”Information transforms all things, and energy is the source of information.”

Gao Gong withdrew his hand, and Dida once again became a little lady in a black dress with a wide-brimmed hat. However, her face, neck, and abdomen had three long cuts that couldn’t be mended.

”Source Code Level injuries,” Gao Gong glanced at her and said, ”Such injuries can only be healed once you ascend to Advanced AI. As for the blood volume and information energy you permanently lost, there’s nothing to be done.”

”Let’s go. I already have a good idea who the opponent is. On this planet, not many can execute pure energy reactions.”

Numerous Rich Lady Love Prototypes flooded into the cathedral, creating an aura and feeling as though attending a rich lady’s feast.

Like all famous cathedrals in the world, the style of Saint Sophia Cathedral is sacred, radiant, glorious, with marble pillars and indistinct statues of the Holy Spirit on the walls, along with the emblem of the Holy City, the Gear Cross—a golden cross forged within a large gear, placed atop the cathedral.

Gao Gong looked up as the staircase twisted circle upon circle, hundreds of times up to the rooftop. On the way up, the walls were hollowed out and displayed countless ’religious symbols’.

”This is!”

As her gaze swept past a glass cabinet, Dida’s eyes suddenly tightened, and she saw a blood-stained ’pocket watch’.

She was very familiar with this ’pocket watch’; it belonged to her old friend, the item of a level 38 Advanced AI.

”Take your friend’s gear, it’s a nice Tier 2 equipment,” Gao Gong said softly.

Inside this cathedral, there were not only no guardians but no living people at all.

However, Gao Gong had somewhat grasped the opponent’s operation.

”Well, let’s work.”

”Yes, let’s work.”

”Big work it is.”

Inside the brain disc, eight Gao Gongs rubbed their fingers, and in the next moment, their extraordinary speed flashed madly across the keyboard.

He spent considerable effort to craft the ’Gaidu’ system specifically for this moment’s equipment.

Gaidu once, and you’ll know.

The two strongest capabilities of search engines are crawler technology and big data technology.

On the screen, this subconscious realm transformed into a white ’cocoon’, while the search engine, at full firepower, was frenziedly invading.

Meanwhile, outside the Holy City, on the sea, enormous waves collided with each other and directly transformed into ’data’, mutually deleting. Thick tendrils stretched from the sea floor, causing even the world’s ’space architecture’ to start collapsing, revealing the colorful cyber space.

Clearly, Gao Gong was not acting alone at this moment.

And in Terria, the city walls began to crumble, huge gears ’rumbling’ as they turned, violet-black radiance flashing through the gear’s gaps. In workshops, ports, and shops, difference machines also jumped rapidly, everything accelerating.

Then, a factory began to emit smoke, a shop caught fire, and more places started to emit astonishing heat.

The historical fire finally emerged along the timeline of history.

On the ’screen’, as the ’Gaidu System’ kept invading, a large net appeared on the ’cocoon’s surface, within which numerous ’preys’ entangled by data streams—these preys were individual AIs.

”Intruder, reveal your name!”

”Who are you, sir?”

On one of the hundred screens before Gao Gong, one screen suddenly flickered and turned to mosaic. However, it was the second, third screen, clearly indicating the opponent’s sophisticated counter-invasion technique. Although they couldn’t lock onto Gao Gong’s location yet, they were able to cut off his invasion.

If Gao Gong remembered correctly, the ’Earth Net Group’, this cyber space faction, its top members, were the first batch of ’Super Brains’.

Simply put, ’Super Brain’ is a bunch of mad scientists who upload their brain data to mainframes, thus giving birth to top-level AIs; the planet’s earliest ’brain-machine interface technology’ was also invented by these people.

And ’Earth Net Group’ is also one of the behind-the-scenes winners of future corporate wars, with a very straightforward objective of promoting human brain-machine integration, thereby creating a complete ’cyber space’, without humans, only cyborgs.

On this planet, they are dedicated adherents to ’artificial data spaces’.

”So, what’s the purpose of these fake AIs capturing real AIs?” Gao Gong muttered to himself.

At this moment, inside Saint Sophia Cathedral

The ground was shaking, cracks were forming on the walls, even the statues of the Holy Spirit were splitting, exposing peculiar net-like codes that drove the gears, causing the walls to start pushing inward.

A large number of ’Rich Lady Love Prototypes’ began to brace the walls, yet these cyber killers could only slow the wall’s closing but couldn’t halt its transformation.

Through the windows, faintly seen, numerous fires had already blazed through the Holy City.

”So urgent, I was about to have a good chat,” Gao Gong muttered to himself.

”The murderer isn’t the Earth Net Group,” Dida reclaimed the pocket watch and suddenly spoke.

”Oh? If not them, who could it be?”

Looking at the walls revealing the distinct codes of the Earth Net Group, Gao Gong asked with interest.

”Unclear, but it’s evidently misleading us.”

”Reason?”

”I parsed a trace of its aura, and it’s not the aura of an AI,” Dida touched the scar on her face, suddenly opening her mouth from which countless codes spewed into the air. With her virtual programming, they transformed into a unique and intensely destructive program structure.

”You’re as sharp as ever!”

In Gao Gong’s memory, the last advanced civilization Dida joined was a super energy civilization, and she’s indeed gifted in energy sensing.

Gao Gong twisted his neck, slowly stood up, and all other Rich Lady Love Prototypes stopped obstructing, quickly merging into his body, which made his aura grow even stronger, gradually breaking through the limits of the Red Wing Killer, reaching a higher level.

”I know you don’t want to show yourself, but since we met, why not greet properly?”

”For instance, tell me which number Destruction Form you are!”

Gao Gong looked up, staring at the ’gear cross’ atop the cathedral. The gold on the cross appeared to melt, emitting dazzlingly bright radiance.

Arriving here, he understood one thing, why with the current ’technological level’, the differential machine, expected to be obsolete, would trigger the first punk revolution, and why the differential machine base had traces of energy technology—the source was right here.

The Destruction Form interfered with history!

And the relationship between Destruction and this planet’s civilization is far deeper than he anticipated.

”Unwilling to talk? Then I guess I’ll have to investigate myself.”

After merging all ’Cyber Killers’, Gao Gong took a deep breath, breaking through ’Red Wings’, reaching the ’Silver Wings’ level, acquiring an extra ability called ’Viral Transformation’.

And coincidentally, he also has ’Destructive Energy’, and with 99.1% Destructive Energy, it’s handy to craft temporary viruses targeting specific traits.

While in Dida’s eyes, this world’s sentinel suddenly emitted an aura completely ’contrary’ to the world. Countless gears floated from his surface, spinning inversely, rapidly generating a Trojan program.

And the name of this Trojan program is ’Construct Virus’!

In the next moment, Gao Gong vanished. On the roof, countless gear phantoms began slicing the gold on the gear cross.

Trojan virus principle—parasitic system, working from inside.

Simple destruction can’t injure a Destruction Form, but when the same ’destructive aura’ is integrated, it’s entirely different.

Gao Gong seemed to have entered a new world, one composed of countless ’glowing threads’.

In this world, energy particles vibrated in a special way. Each vibration affected particle properties, thus impacting space structure. With just one glance, Gao Gong was noticed, and in the next moment, the light beam vibrated, ejecting him out.

But at the moment of ejection, with remarkable speed, Gao Gong invaded a ’light beam’ and assimilated it with himself.

[Your Destructive Energy reached 100%, entering the second phase]

In the brain disc, all Gao Gongs stood up, speaking in unison:

”No. 5 Destruction: Purple Energy Strings!”

On the screen, the ’subconscious realm’ was completely enveloped by Earth Net, disappearing in the sea of data under countless hyperlink protocols.
