Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 372: Chapter 139: Biochemical Mode Players

For the players’ insurrection, Gao Gong, who has been down this road, said that it’s a normal P. After all, by mid-game, the reputation of players as cosmic terrorists is well-established, with charges of planet explosions, human trafficking, species massacre, and civilization overthrows, each crime bigger than the last.

Compared to those, just causing trouble in one city is already quite restrained.

However, doing such a thing in the early game must mean they are elites among players, and even elites among elites.

Evil Jade Clan, never heard of it. Hei Bing No. 2, seems like I’ve heard this name before.

”According to my downloaded data, currently, Crime City is under a chaotic order established by the Evil Association, criminal syndicates, and grassroots gangs. Among these, 89% of the criminal syndicates are members of the Evil Association, and 65% of the criminal syndicates are backed by corporations. Here’s their list.”

Pupil unfolded a hand, revealing a holographic projection, displaying the names of all criminal syndicates and the corporate forces behind each criminal organization marked behind the arrows.

For example, a gang called the Rose Group is backed by a Mother City Biological Group called ’Species Origin.’

Pupil grabbed with a hand, reducing the criminal syndicates to seven.

Mountain Beak Group, Black Smoke Faction, Biochemical Geisha Group, A-Type Motorcycle Faction, Samurai Group, Red Stone Group

”According to the Evil Association’s rotation rules, this month these seven criminal organizations are responsible for security work.”

As a member of the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division, Pupil has access to most internal corporate data, naturally including these subordinate gangs.

”Mountain Beak Group and Black Smoke Faction are actually one?” Gao Gong asked with interest.

”Yes, the former largest gang in Crime City, the Chairman of the Rice Fragrance Association, aware of the many enemies made, devised an internal conflict scenario. If ever besieged by all foes, the gang would surely be destroyed. In reality, the two gangs secretly support each other and share technology.”

”The mother of the first generation of Mountain Beak Group is the cloned wife of the Rice Fragrance Association’s Chairman, while the daughter of the first generation of Black Smoke Faction is the biological daughter of the Chairman. This relationship is too chaotic.” Collider ridicules.

”Compared to his own survival, that Chairman of the Rice Fragrance Association seems more concerned about whether his bloodline and will can be passed on,” Pupil flicked a finger, revealing a sinister old man.

”Is that so,” Gao Gong remained noncommittal.

Besides these brothers, the Biochemical Geisha Group, A-Type Motorcycle Faction, Samurai Group, and Red Stone Group all have backing. What interests Gao Gong the most is that the A-Type Motorcycle Faction is actually a branch of the Turing Sect, and the object of their adoration is even more bizarre – it’s the bionic man, Rebel A.

”What do you think of the Turing Sect?” Gao Gong suddenly asked.

Pupil was taken aback and said, ”Just a quirky underground sect, nothing more.”

”Oh.”

Gao Gong nodded. Even your Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division thinks so, no wonder you’ll face a huge setback in the future.

”Haha, I like these little guys, they fight quite well!”

Collider’s eyes had long been modified to satellite positioning mode, allowing him to see the direction of the ’Evil Jade Clan’s’ movements clearly.

Scissorhand and Mortar faced the enemy head-on, while Fire Starter set fires everywhere.

Scissorhand’s speed reached an astonishing Mach 1, ranking him in the top 0.1% of players. In this aspect, the only one who could match him was ’Rainy Night with a Knife and No Umbrella.’

As for Mortar, Gao Gong saw a plus version of the ’Black Death Ape,’ or rather, a more insane cyber-psychosis patient.

Generally speaking, those with cyber psychosis besides cognitive impairment would have drastically enhanced regeneration, strength, and speed.

If someone deliberately got the disease, even intending to give up consciousness from the start, he would become a complete cyber-psychosis patient, much of the time lacking any personality.

As for Fire Starter, his flames were quite special, not only green in color but also highly flammable, nearly impossible to extinguish.

Several buds extended from Gao Gong’s skin, feeling the heat; he murmured, ”Hmm.”

”Biochemical fusion, so you’ve awoken the flame talent, one that can heal with flames?”

What is biochemical fusion? It’s extracting genes from all biochemical experiment products and implanting them into one’s bloodline. If you don’t explode and die on the spot, you awaken the bloodline talent.

Successfully fusing in one go is impossible; you’ll die at least a dozen times, and without a doubt, bizarre negative effects will emerge. Mentally, these include perversion, madness, and sexual deviance, while physically, they involve growing strange parts, genetic defects, or unbearable pain.

Gao Gong felt gratified at last, with players awakening the ’biochemical mode.’

What is biochemical mode? It’s giving up most of the time when your mind works properly to gain powerful combat strength during the limited uptime, that’s ’biochemical mode.’

In the Cyber Test Field, this is a suitable survival lifestyle given the abandoned biochemical experiments and outrageous experiment schemes available here.

As long as you stop being human, happy days arrive, even more thrilling than buying advantages with real money.

You can become stronger without spending money, what are you waiting for?

In Gao Gong’s view, the small Evil Jade Clan entirely consists of ’biochemical mode’ players, including ’Hei Bing No. 2,’ whom he knows. Though appearing the least affected, it’s evident he’s implanted with some forbidden chip, personality heading towards an extreme.

Pupil manipulated air with fingers, quickly revealing a holographic map centered on the Twin Towers.

”There are a total of 154 routes to enter the Twin Towers from the perimeter, 57 of which have suffered various levels of attack.”

A Level 40 Neural Modeler, still under the Ghost in the Shell Mobile Division, could easily serve as a moving map with an array of hidden cameras and monitoring devices, obtaining control whenever desired.

And the Mother City’s satellite monitoring system allows her to view 90% of the city.

In this regard, even Cyber Hackers couldn’t compare.

”These attacks have clearly been planned for a long time, including suicide robots, biochemical zombies, assassins, mercenary gangs, and even some trouble-making gang pawns.”

The Neural Modeler’s strongest ability, ’character modeling,’ began to showcase its prowess. Soon, figures appeared on the ’holographic map,’ even in fast-forward mode.

Things happening in reality would appear on the map ahead of time, three seconds, four seconds, one minute, five minutes, ten minutes...

To outsiders, this seemed absolutely miraculous!

”In ten minutes, 47 of the 57 riots will be quelled, in 20 minutes, all riots will be quelled.”

”The key then lies with this seven-man squad, whether they can infiltrate the Twin Towers and complete the demolition within 20 minutes.”

”If they want to raise the success rate to 30%, they need an inside person, and to raise it to 45%, they need a support personnel. Theoretically, the success rate of this operation won’t surpass 50%, unless—”

”Unless we help,” Gao Gong looked at Collider, saying, ”Since you’re so excited watching, go give them a hand. You don’t need to do much, just ensure one or two can make it into the Twin Towers.”

”Alright!”

Collider laughed heartily and directly dropped from the hundreds of stories high building.

”Let’s go too, want a free ride?” Gao Gong extended his hand.

Pupil rolled eyes at him, then willingly nestled into Gao Gong’s embrace.

The next moment, Gao Gong wrapped his arm around Pupil, leaping downward, as three pairs of wings unfurled amidst the fierce wind, while activating the skill ’Radiation Invisibility,’ the two gradually faded away high in the sky.
