Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Three days in a row.

During the day, Third Uncle and the others used blood and half a pig to lure those nuclear-radiated Zombies, and at night they would find a suitable bivouac to stop and rest.

Meanwhile, from Big Camphor Tree Base, Ant and Li Gang piloted a Helicopter every day to fly over and support Third Uncle’s group.

Following Highway 72 and skirting around Wuyi Mountain, they arrived at Ming City at two in the afternoon that day.

Ming City was also a hilly, mountainous city. Third Uncle picked up the walkie-talkie and contacted Xiao Jun, who was driving ahead to scout the road.

”Xiao Jun, have you found a suitable place?”

Xiao Jun climbed down from the infantry fighting vehicle and folded up the map in his hands.

He said to Third Uncle, ”Found it. It’s a mountain hollow. You come along National Highway 206, then turn onto a small road. I’ll have people waiting for you at the entrance of that small road.”

”Good. I’ll have Jackals come over to help you set up the bombs. Once we lure the Zombies over, we’ll just use the bombs to collapse the mountain and bury these Zombies.” Third Uncle said, glancing at the Zombies in the rearview mirror.

Xiao Jun quickly said, ”That’s great.”

Jackals was Xiao Jun’s uncle and was proficient in demolition.

If his uncle came over to help set up the bombs, there was bound to be no mistakes.

Third Uncle put down the walkie-talkie and contacted Jackals in the rear, telling him to go ahead and help with the bomb placement.

Hearing this, Jackals immediately stepped on the gas, took a detour to get ahead of Third Uncle’s convoy, and drove toward Xiao Jun’s group.

Twenty minutes later.

Jackals met the men Xiao Jun had left at the junction to guide them.

Driving onto this rural concrete road, they passed over several hills and continued for another two kilometers before finally seeing Xiao Jun and his team.

”Uncle, this is the place. What do you think of it?” Xiao Jun pointed ahead as he spoke.

Jackals looked down at a steep slope, with mountains on both the left and right, and at the foot of the mountains there was a relatively wide stretch of fields.

The place was very remote.

If Xiao Jun hadn’t sent people to lead them in, they probably never would have found it.

”This place is quite suitable to serve as a graveyard for Zombies. Xiao Jun, take some men and help me unload the bombs from the vehicle. I’ll teach you how to set them up.” Jackals nodded, satisfied.

Hearing that his uncle also thought the spot was suitable, Xiao Jun was a bit excited and called his squad members to go to the vehicle and move the explosives.

While they were unloading the explosives from the vehicle, Jackals walked down the steep slope to carefully inspect the terrain and soil, and he made some markings.

The focus of this demolition was to blast down the mountain bodies on both sides and use the rolling rocks to wipe out those Zombies.

Very quickly.

Xiao Jun and the others finished unloading the explosives from the vehicle.

Jackals took a few flags and said to Xiao Jun:

”Place the bombs where I plant the flags. The soil here is relatively hard, so we need to use...”

As Jackals explained some demolition knowledge, he also directed people to set the bombs in the appropriate locations.

After half an hour of work, they had laid out no fewer than thirty interconnected blast points across this mountain hollow.

”That’s about it. Next we withdraw to a safe position and wait for those nuclear-radiated Zombies to come through. Move out!” Jackals said.

Then they got in their vehicles and pulled back to the top of a slope behind the two mountains.

At the same time.

Sitting in the vehicle, Third Uncle checked the time, picked up the walkie-talkie, and contacted Jackals: ”Jackals, how’s the bomb installation going? We’ll be there in twenty minutes.”

Hearing Third Uncle’s voice, Jackals quickly grabbed the walkie-talkie and replied:

”Captain, we’ve finished setting up the bombs. Once you get here, we can detonate at any time.”

When Third Uncle heard that they were already set up, he felt a surge of relief.

After days of luring Zombies, they could finally bring this to a close.

”Alright, we’re on our way to your position now.” Third Uncle said, then put down the walkie-talkie.

Another ten minutes passed.

On a section of National Highway 206, Third Uncle’s group saw Zhou Tian standing in the middle of the road waiting for them.

Zhou Tian waved vigorously and pointed to the concrete side road.

Old Qin, who was driving, saw his gesture and understood they were supposed to turn in there, so he honked twice.

Since they were already trying to attract Zombies, honking a few times to agitate the Zombies didn’t matter.

The speed was very slow, to make sure the nuclear-radiated Zombies behind them could keep up.

Third Uncle simply opened the door while they were moving and let Zhou Tian get in.

They didn’t stop the vehicle when he boarded.

At the speed they were going now, Zhou Tian could easily keep pace on foot.

Once Zhou Tian climbed in, he ripped off his helmet in one go.

He took several huge gulps of air, wiped the sweat off his face, and said, ”It’s too hot...”

Third Uncle chuckled and tossed him a bottle of water, saying:

”Been standing out there for an hour, haven’t you?”

Zhou Tian twisted off the cap and drank a few big swigs, Gudong Gudong, then replied, ”Didn’t keep track, probably not. No idea how far along they are with preparations over there.”

Back to Jackals and the others, who had finished setting up the bombs.

They drove the vehicles to the top of a slope behind the two mountains, at a distance from the blast points.

They were already far enough from the blast area. With the way Jackals had arranged the bombs, hiding on this side should keep them out of harm’s way.

They would wait for Third Uncle here.

As the seconds ticked by.

Third Uncle, sitting in the vehicle, saw the steep slope ahead and the mountain feet on both sides of the road bristling with planted flags.

Zhou Tian quickly said from inside the vehicle, ”This is the blast zone. They’re waiting for us up ahead.”
