Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Night.

The Jackals piloted the helicopter, heading for the intersection ahead.

The helicopter’s spotlight was lit, illuminating the gas station.

Behind the gas station was a Everyday Convenience Store, connected to the station.

Behind that was a public restroom, with a water outlet on the right.

The gas station’s load-bearing pillars were made of concrete, with a total of six pillars, along with four fuel tanks and fuel pumps below.

Around the gas station were more than a dozen abandoned cars parked there.

Bzz bzz bzz—

The Jackals carefully piloted the helicopter down towards the top of the gas station.

This gas station stood at a standard height, about 8 meters, not even three stories high, with no stairs or steps, supported by six pillars, open on all sides.

Thud!

The Jackals smoothly landed the helicopter on the top of the gas station.

Seeing the helicopter settled, Li Yu contacted Ants, instructing them to lure the nuclear radiation zombies to this location.

After Li Yu and Ants finished discussing, Jackals asked:

”What’s the plan after bringing the zombies here? Should we kill these nuclear radiation zombies here?”

Li Yu shook his head and replied, ”No, it’s too close to the Big Camphor Tree Base. If it were just a few nuclear radiation zombies, it would be okay, but thousands dying here would cause severe nuclear pollution that could affect the base.”

”So what do we do? Where should we lure them to kill?” Jackals asked again.

Li Yu was a bit troubled; nuclear radiation zombies were a problematic issue.

The best approach would be to lure them to a ravine or cliff and seal them with cement to minimize the pollution.

But this would take too much effort and require a massive amount of cement. Beyond producing the cement, just the transport would be a workload they couldn’t bear.

Li Yu suddenly turned his head to Chen Delong sitting in the back and asked, ”Did the license plate you saw start with G?”

”Yes, it was Min G.”

Li Yu said, ”Then let these zombies go back to where they came from and kill them there.”

He opened the map and found an appropriate route.

”Take Highway 72, head Northeast, then South, bypass Wuyi Mountain, about 300 kilometers.

The helicopter’s range is too short, and though it’s safer at night, it’s not suitable.

We can only send out vehicles from the base and do it during daytime, doing so at night is too dangerous.

If the zombies travel 8 kilometers per hour, covering about 96 kilometers in 12 hours of daylight, we can lead them back in three days,” Li Yu explained.

Suddenly, Li Yu looked at the map, pointing to Highway 528 in the midsection of Wuyi Mountain.

He said to everyone:

”Or, there’s another option, taking them back the original way, cutting the distance nearly in half, only taking two days, but...”

Li Yu looked at Chen Delong in the back and asked:

”You said Highway 528 was blown up by them with detonators; is it seriously damaged, does it have any chance of being cleared?”

Chen Delong showed a troubled expression, awkwardly replied, ”I feel it’s quite tough. They blew up the whole road, with mountain rocks fallen on both sides. Clearing a passage might take considerable effort.”

Li Yu nodded and told the Jackals and the others:

”Right now, the only option is to bypass, lure the zombies there, and then kill them.”

”Agree.” Everyone nodded.

They waited here for a good hour, during which they refueled the helicopter with aviation kerosene on the platform above the gas station.

Meanwhile, they informed Ants and the others in another helicopter of the finalized plan.

To prevent the zombies from running randomly, it’s best to have someone watch them here.

If anything happens, they can provide timely solutions.

Deciding who stays is a problem.

Ants thought it wasn’t an issue, volunteering to stay.

After all, it was just one night.

From the same helicopter, Lao Yi, Yang Tianlong, and Li Gang also decided to stay together.

...

Bzz bzz bzz—

More than an hour later, Ants finally lured the zombies over.

”Let’s board the helicopter, take it away, and give them the platform. The gas station can handle one helicopter without a problem; two would be too heavy, and if it collapses, we’re done for,” Jackals said upon seeing the distant helicopter approaching.

Li Yu nodded, ”You’re right, let’s go, board the helicopter.”

Quickly.

They boarded the helicopter again, and Jackals directed the helicopter’s spotlight toward the gas station.

”You can land over there; we just refueled there,” Jackals contacted Ants.

Ants noticed the fuel gauge pointing to the Red Light District, indicating the fuel was almost out, promptly saying, ”You sure picked a good spot, alright.”

Ants then piloted the helicopter over the top of the gas station.

Those nuclear radiation zombies followed and gathered below the gas station.

Ants instructed Yang Tianlong and the others to move the large pig hanging from the helicopter to the edge of the gas station’s top.
