Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Returning to the duty room, Li Hang wasn’t there, but Li Tie had woken up in this area.

On the way back to the duty room, Li Yu roughly thought through this matter.

After returning to the duty room, without avoiding Li Tie, he looked at Second Uncle and Uncle and asked, ”Second Uncle, Uncle, what are your thoughts?”

Second Uncle glanced at Uncle and said, ”This is actually quite a dilemma. If you calculate by points, all three teams have already reached the mark. If you consider the assessment, Zhu Xiao’s team has no problem at all, but his joining time is shorter than teams one and two. My personal thought is, why not wait a bit longer? Temporarily hold all three teams back.”

Second Uncle has always been very steady in his actions, so when making decisions, he often emphasizes stability. But sometimes, being too stable can lead to a slow pace and a lack of efficiency in certain matters.

”Uncle, what about you?” Li Yu looked at Uncle.

Uncle, after all, is a former special police officer, and he has a decisive and effective quality about him.

So he said, ”I’ve interacted with people from all three teams. Guo Peng’s team has been here longer; their combat ability isn’t outstanding, but they are stable enough.

Zhu Xiao is brave and bold, a straightforward man. Xiao Hu is a combination of Guo Peng and Zhu Xiao; he has ideas, and his combat ability is quite good. Personally, I think as long as the points are enough and they have shown enough loyalty to the Big Camphor Tree Base, then let them join. We don’t need to consider too much else.”

Uncle finished expressing his thoughts in one breath.

Second Uncle and Uncle had completely different thoughts this time, so they waited for Li Yu to come back and make a decision.

Li Yu pondered for a moment and said to Uncle and Second Uncle, ”Second Uncle, your thorough consideration is right. To be honest, with Second Uncle Ant and Uncle Xu directly jumping into the Outer City, although they were specially recruited, we also need to give some opportunities to the numerous extra staff.

The Outer City hasn’t added any new members for a long time, and this is an opportunity.

I’m considering this problem from two aspects. One, if we recruit them, will there be issues with food supply, since their joining the Outer City will increase the food demand.

But with the current grain output from the base’s planting, not including the newly constructed planting areas of the Third Outer City, we actually have a significant surplus, enough to cover the people from these three teams.

So, recruiting people from the three teams into the Outer City won’t put pressure on the food supply.

The second aspect is assessing the points and the loyalty and character of these three teams.

After the return from the Guang City mission, all of them have enough points.

Now it’s about their loyalty and character, and I personally feel Guo Peng and Xiao Hu are fine, having done many tasks together before. As for Zhu Xiao.”

Li Yu fell silent for a while, then said, ”The last time they went to the neighboring province to search for solar panels and encountered bandits, that Zhu Xiao proved reliable.

Loyalty and character aren’t just about time; sometimes, it’s about the experiences shared.

Zhu Xiao has also been on several missions with us, and I think he’s reliable.

So, my opinion is, let’s have all three teams join!”

Second Uncle, upon hearing this, looked a bit hesitant and said, ”But the people from the three teams, when combined, are over eighty people. Isn’t this pace a bit too fast?”

Li Yu shook his head and said, ”It’s okay. Right now, the total number of people in our base, including the inner and outer city, is only four hundred. Just Ju Tianrui’s group alone is several dozen strong.

Since they can join, why shouldn’t Guo Peng and their group, who have been with us for so long, join as well? That Zhu Xiao is actually quite formidable in combat; there’s no issue in letting him join.

The most important thing is, since we have enough food, if we want to expand, let’s implement it according to the rules we set earlier.”

......

The thoughts Li Yu had now were different from when he just came back to life. Back when he had just returned, with few people and weak strength, he only felt that the outside world was terrifying and wanted to hide in a corner.

But now, after destroying so many forces and surviving many zombie tides.

Having found the armory, and even having tanks now. Third Uncle has surprised him even more by having built a super-strong special operations team.

Alongside Luo, Ju Tianrui, Xiao Jun, Old Lv, Uncle, Lao Yi, and Old Bi, who are all strong in combat and have leadership experience.

The Big Camphor Tree Base, though not many in number now, is absolutely not weak in strength!

Often, when people have certain abilities, or when they reach a certain position, ambition is born.

Li Yu is slowly developing a bit of ambition. Since they can become stronger, why not become even stronger?

......

For the current Big Camphor Tree Base or for most forces.

Many times, the collapse of a force is not just due to external zombies, natural disasters, or enemy attacks.

But due to problems arising internally.

The most important is the issue of internal management. When there are too many people, there’s a fear of power being seized. More importantly, when there are too many people, there’s a fear that hearts won’t be united.

Internal strife is severe, making it impossible to move together in the same direction.

But up until now, within the Inner and Outer City members of the Big Camphor Tree Base, there hasn’t been a single incident of power struggles or rebellions.

There hasn’t even been a hint of it!

Only a few cooperative personnel have caused a fuss, but they were all executed by Li Yu.

Why haven’t the Inner and Outer City personnel caused any trouble? Besides strong suppression,

it also has to do with the series of rules Li Yu established to keep them in check.
