Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 909: Chapter 640: Be Careful Out There! (2)

Still suffering from the lack of experience.

Even though Liu Cunyi sensed something was wrong, he still couldn’t articulate it.

They knew they had to maintain silence at night, so they tried to keep their conversations quiet.

Of course, except for the room Liu Cunxi was in, which had an unharmonious and somewhat loud noise.

Zhou Zhisheng also heard it and, somewhat displeased, told Liu Cunyi, ”Can’t you handle it? What if it attracts zombies? Our families are here.”

Liu Cunyi helplessly said, ”Our family elder spoils him, and he hasn’t had any children, so he lets him be.”

Zhou Zhisheng said sternly, ”I don’t care about that, just go and tell him, this is a serious threat to our safety.”

Liu Cunyi saw Zhou Zhisheng speaking so sternly, so he nodded and said, ”Alright.”

Just as he left, he heard someone from the patrol shouting, ”Some zombies are coming.”

”What!?” Zhou Zhisheng stood up abruptly and walked outside holding a gun.

Liu Cunyi quickly pulled over a family member to notify Liu Cunxi not to make any noise.

Then he hurriedly walked towards the car.

He began to ponder that, with the Zhou family, there were altogether twenty people on patrol, which might be too few.

They didn’t lack manpower, with four or five hundred people.

.....

Zhou Zhisheng stood on the roof of the car and saw seven or eight zombies approaching from afar, letting out a sigh of relief.

He complained to the person who reported, ”Seven or eight zombies is normal, you guys can handle it. Don’t use guns, they’re too loud and will attract more zombies.”

”Got it.” The subordinate pouted but didn’t argue.

Immediately after, when those zombies approached, they solved the seven or eight zombies with spears from the top of the car.

After dealing with the zombies, Zhou Zhisheng was relieved; if this scale of zombies appeared, it wouldn’t be a problem for them at all.

Since there’s no wall, although cars formed an automobile wall in a circle, some cars weren’t tall enough, and there were gaps in between, so they turned on the lights.

The night is deep.

Two hours later.

Five kilometers away, where they couldn’t see, a large group of zombies was approaching from Yishi.

These zombies, completely tireless, were sniffing the dense human scent in the air and moved quickly.

....

Bawang Plastics Factory.

After Ju Tianrui and Yang Tianlong searched the factory, they found a few zombies, dressed in work clothes and trapped in places like water rooms.

When Zhu Xiao found out, he was quite terrified.

However, he had done a rough search and hadn’t found any zombies, probably because they were few in number; as long as everyone hid in a warehouse, they were safe.

After inspecting the plastic factory, the sky had completely darkened.

Dapao and the others no longer loaded the PC sunlight panels onto the cars.

They lit up the central area and ate dinner in groups of twos and threes.

They always demanded strict discipline for those on outdoor patrol, which Li Yu took very seriously, often patrolling personally.

The number of people wasn’t large, but they were divided into several groups so that everyone could rest well.

They were divided into six groups, with four people each, meaning every person’s shift lasted one and a half to two hours.

Two were stationed at the entrance, two patrolled, and the ones at the entrance and patrollers switched every half-hour.

And Li Tie’s drone flew over a hundred meters high, its rotor noise no longer audible from the ground.

The drone also had night vision, and Li Tie controlled it at high altitude while eating with one hand.

Li Yu saw him like this and didn’t bother him because having an eye in the sky provided a sense of security, able to see far.

Because this place was quite far from the city center, even though they numbered over a hundred people, it would take zombies seven or eight hours to sniff them out and approach.

By then, it would be nearly dawn.

What’s more, they had walls to obstruct zombies, unlike a leaking bucket needing constant patching.

PM.

After dinner.

Li Yu felt this place quite nice, though the nearby mountain, dark under the night sky, gave a sense of oppression.

Feeling a bit cold, he returned to the Unimog.

As the temperature dropped, it lowered to eight or nine degrees in the night.

This temperature was already quite cold in the Southern region.

If not for the lack of moisture, it would likely snow.

In the small room of the Unimog, Li Yu blew warm air and, feeling a bit bored, opened his iPad to play the retro game Temple Run.

.....

.....

Yishi outskirts.

Half past three in the morning.

Zhou Zhisheng had already fallen asleep, being unable to sleep earlier, but couldn’t resist the weariness from an entire day of hustling. In the morning, sparring with Gan Xiong, leaving the Western Alliance caused a fluctuation of emotions, consuming a lot of mental energy.

On the way, with the rough and bumpy road, his waist aching severely.

Finally, fatigue overcame him, and he slept deeply.

At this moment, a zombie appeared at a street corner less than three hundred meters from them.

Following came the second, third, fourth.....

A dense hoard of zombies emerged around the corner.
