Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 908: Chapter 640: Be Careful Out There!

The Overlord Plastic Factory.

A drone took off into the sky and stopped ascending at nearly 30 meters high.

On the drone’s terminal screen, Li Tie could clearly see the overall layout of the industrial park.

As Zhu Xiao mentioned, there are two large gates in the industrial park.

One south and one north. The Overlord Plastic Factory they were at was near the southern gate.

After ascending, it hovered in the air, slowly rotating to observe the surroundings.

At another site.

Old Lv, Dapao, and the others followed Zhu Xiao to the factory’s warehouse.

They pulled up the scroll door, and at the entrance, they could see the inside was filled with PC sunlight panels. The entire warehouse was about thirty to forty meters deep, with a width of over ten meters, filled with PC sunlight panels on both sides.

These sunlight panels were covered with plastic film that was dusty, giving a dirty appearance.

Old Lv tore off one piece of film, revealing a very clean and undamaged sunlight panel inside.

Old Lv said happily, ”Not bad, if we can use these, it should be enough.”

Zhu Xiao stated, ”There are three large warehouses here, all filled, and I’ve checked; the quality is all intact.”

Dapao walked to the deepest part to inspect the PC sunlight panels inside. Perhaps because they were near the walls, some water had seeped in, and a few panels had some black mold on them.

But a simple wipe with a cloth restored them to a clean state.

”Pretty good. Are the other warehouses like this too?” Dapao asked.

Zhu Xiao waved his hand and said to them, ”Let’s go check them out together, there shouldn’t be any issues; we just left briefly.”

Old Lv and Dapao followed Zhu Xiao to check the other warehouses and found the sunlight panels there were also fine.

Seeing so many sunlight panels, Dapao happily said, ”This is definitely enough. We might even have plenty extra. Let’s go and report this good news to Brother Yu.”

Old Lv nodded repeatedly.

It was confirmed beyond doubt that these PC sunlight panels could be used.

The only pity was that the vehicle they drove here probably couldn’t transport all the sunlight panels away.

After verifying everything, they found Li Yu to report this matter.

Li Yu nodded, happily saying, ”Very good. Since it’s still not dark, everyone start loading them onto the vehicles. We’ll have a good rest tonight. Let’s move as many as we can now, and continue in the morning if needed.”

Under Li Yu’s instructions, Zhu Xiao, Li Gang, and others began organizing manpower to start moving.

As for Xiao Jun, Li Yu instructed him to form a duty team, to ensure everyone’s safety through proper vigilance.

....

In the Doomsday, if people ventured out to find resources or food, they generally wouldn’t spend the night in unfamiliar areas.

One major reason is that you never know how many Zombies are nearby during the night.

Once night falls, without a wall and strong defenses, it’s tough to fend off Zombies.

.....

At the same time.

The sunset dipped west, and birds flew home like evening clouds.

The sky gradually darkened.

The temperature dropped.

The air was colder than during the day, and a cold wind made people shrink into their necks.

In Yishi.

To the west, near the suburbs.

Only twenty kilometers from the city center.

Surrounded by houses, several dozen cars formed a wall of cars.

The space between the vehicles was minimized, but there were still some gaps.

Liu Cunyi gazed outside the houses at the fire within the car wall, feeling inexplicably uneasy.

For some reason, staying here always gave him a sense of unease.

An hour later, it was completely dark.

Liu Cunyi and Zhou Zhisheng agreed that both families would stand watch tonight.

Each family would provide ten people for the night shifts.

The cold wind howled, causing the ground fires to flicker.

In the distance, the sounds of Zombies’ growls were continually heard.

Liu Cunxi was also experiencing staying overnight outside the Western Alliance for the first time during the Doomsday era.

Having little idea, he took two slave girls to the room assigned to him and began acts of depravity.

Liu Cunyi watched his brother’s departing figure and sighed, shaking his head.

Can’t carry him. If it weren’t for the elder’s favoritism, he would have dealt with this brother long ago.

By the firelight, Zhou Zhisheng and Liu Cunyi were each eating and talking.

”I keep feeling uneasy. Do you?” Liu Cunyi asked Zhou Zhisheng across from him.

Zhou Zhisheng frowned and said, ”I’ve always felt uneasy. In the Western Alliance a few days ago, it seemed like Gan Xiong could make a move at any moment; I couldn’t sleep all night.”

”I don’t mean that. I mean staying here tonight,” Liu Cunyi clarified.

Zhou Zhisheng looked around; with bright lights and people standing vigil on truck tops, he said to Liu Cunyi, ”No need to worry too much. There are many of us, nothing to fear.”

After all, it was their first time out, staying so many in an unfamiliar place.

Lacking experience, Li Yu would never have chosen to stay here.

Firstly, it’s too close to the city, easily accessible.

Secondly, without walls, there’s no barrier. If zombies come running, it’s hard to hold off.

Thirdly, with so many people, it’s best to go to a remote highway. Even though you’ll encounter Zombies, there won’t be as many. In secluded places, Zombies don’t gather rapidly.
