Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

”They are only about five kilometers away from here, and they have walls over four or five meters high. We have been there to scavenge before.

The main gate there has also been pried open by us, now we can go straight in.”

Li Yu, hearing about this driving school, felt that it was decent enough, since they were not just one or two people, but dozens of them. There were over thirty people on his side, more than twenty with Old Qin, plus He Bing’s over ten people.

Together, over seventy people. If it were just a small team, staying hidden would be feasible, but with so many people, a somewhat larger place was definitely needed.

Nanshan Driving School could work.

Li Yu nodded and said, ”Alright, then let’s head there. Uncle Qin, please lead the way.”

Old Qin got up and went straight to the front of the car, instructing them on how to get there.

Vroom vroom vroom~

Amidst the roaring engines of the cars and an increasing number of zombie groans, they kept getting closer to Nanshan Driving School.

But as they got closer, it became darker, and more zombies swarmed from behind.

They needed to hurry.

They accelerated the cars to their fastest speed, and some zombies appeared on the road ahead.

Bang bang bang~

The zombies were hit by the cars, tumbling under the tires and getting swept away.

Creak creak~

The car tires directly crushed the zombies’ bodies.

”It’s just up ahead, turn the corner, and the uphill area on the right is it,” Old Qin pointed in a direction and said.

Li Tie, the driver, drove directly according to the direction Old Qin had indicated.

Soon, they arrived at a slope, but at the entrance of the driving school, three or four zombies were still blocking the way.

”Plow right through,” Li Yu said.

These were two big iron gates, with marks from when Old Qin and the others had pried the locks.

Boom~

The gates were directly knocked open, and the three or four zombies behind rushed over.

But the ones that had just been standing in the middle of the entrance were quickly knocked down by the following vehicles.

”Old Lü, your car in the back, once we get in, lock the gate. You should have a chain, use the chain to bind the gate,” Li Yu instructed upon entering Nanshan Driving School.

Old Lü immediately said, ”Alright, we’re on our way.”

The driving school wasn’t large. In the center position, a national flag still fluttered; even after so long since the apocalypse began, the flag still flew.

Li Yu saw this scene and felt a vague sentiment.

He turned back to Old Qin and asked, ”Uncle Qin, are there any other entrances to this place?”

Old Qin thought for a while, then looked towards Old Zhou and said, ”Old Zhou, I remember there aren’t any more, but what do you recall? Are there any other entrances?”

Old Zhou pondered for a moment, then confirmed, ”I don’t recall any.”

Li Yu listened and then let Li Tie drive the vehicles to a five-story building a few dozen meters away.

Everyone got out of the cars.

It was already dark, and Li Yu surveyed the silent environment around him.

Roar roar roar~

From some direction, a few zombie growls could be heard.

Li Yu was the kind of person who preferred to nip dangers in the bud, so he immediately instructed:

”Tiezi, you take six people and check the open driving range and the walls around it to see if there are any other entrances. If there are, find a way to seal them off.

Tianlong, Dapao, take four people and inspect this building and the one next door for any lurking zombies.

Yutong, Lai Dongsheng, Song Min, you few prepare some food. We didn’t eat much at noon and are a bit hungry. Make something to eat.

Gangzi, you take two people and collect all the gasoline and diesel from the cars in the driving school.

Right, I just saw when we came in, there seem to be some big vehicles at the entrance; take a look and see if you can replace the punctured tire on our vehicle.

On the way here, your vehicle’s speed was indeed affected.”

Li Yu got out of the car and started assigning tasks, and everyone began to act upon receiving their respective duties.

He Bing thought for a moment and then offered: ”Director Li, we can join Li Tie and the others to check the surroundings.

More hands make light work.”

Li Yu glanced at him, seeing the genuine desire to do this task in his eyes, and without stopping him, nodded and said, ”Alright, be safe.”

He didn’t offer to give him any firearms.

Now in the base, the control over firearms was extremely strict.

Every gun taken out had a strict regulation on the number of bullets.

Currently, even the people of the Inner City could only have firearms during duty hours, and that was in special circumstances only.

Such as going on missions outside or during a Zombie Tide. Generally, it is not allowed to carry firearms within the base grounds.

At present, only Li Yu, Li Hang, Li Tie, Li Gang, Third Uncle, Second Uncle, Uncle, and other direct relatives of Li Yu were allowed to carry firearms around in the base.

The management of firearms was also under the control of Li Yu and Second Uncle. Li Yuan was responsible for the registration.

Even though there were also some people in the Outer City with firearms, it was only a few, and they were under strict control.

Firearms had to be applied for each usage, such as going on duty on the national highways or executing tasks.

There was also a mechanism, the highest level of alert in the base.

At such times, when it involved the life and death of the base, firearms could be used freely, both inside and outside the city.
