Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Zombie corpses were everywhere, Li Yu took a look around and headed towards the main gate.

He wanted to check the convenience of exiting from the main gate to the cement road.

After all, later on, they would need to bring in vehicles to load food.

A look revealed that although there was a Ginkgo Tree about ten meters outside the main gate, it would not hinder vehicle movement.

Everyone quickly checked the surroundings, found and dealt with the remaining zombies.

After handling these zombies, they soon came over to Li Yu, waiting for new instructions.

...

After Dapao went down, he arrived at the foot of the mountain, the first thing he saw was the Luo Tianyan nameplate that Lao Shie had blown up with a Hand Grenade during their escape up the mountain the day before.

This nameplate was made of granite and had fallen into pieces after being blasted.

At the moment, it was blocking the road down the mountain.

Dapao glanced at the debris, then looked up at Lao Shie, who was scratching his head upon seeing the debris, noticing Dapao watching him.

Lao Shie felt a bit embarrassed; he hadn’t thought about now when he blasted it.

No choice, clearing it up it is.

Fortunately, they had many people with them; six or seven people moved forward and carried away the rocks one by one.

Luckily, the nameplate had shattered when it fell; otherwise, if it was a whole piece, they wouldn’t have been able to move it.

After moving the shattered granite, Dapao and his team started clearing the road of cars.

Most of the car keys were still in the vehicles, so they started the engines,

moved the cars to one side, then cleared a path in the middle.

For vehicles without keys, if they could push them aside, they did; for those they couldn’t push, they used functioning vehicles to force open a path.

Soon, they had cleared a path.

Having sorted this all out, Dapao and his team then chose three trucks and two vans and drove up the mountain.

On the mountain.

Li Yu and his group also moved the zombie corpses on the cement road to the sides; they would need to use this road later to transport food.

When Dapao and the others were coming up in the vehicles, the cement road was very clean, without a single zombie body present.

Seeing Dapao and his team driving up the mountain, Li Yu glanced at the cargo capacity of the vehicles and roughly estimated, sighing.

These five vehicles combined didn’t hold 60 tons, roughly the same tonnage as a large truck.

But there was nothing to be said; Li Yu thought for a moment, then told Dapao and the others, ”Drive directly into the cave.”

He then turned back to command everyone to start loading and transporting the food.

Inside the cave, the lights were bright.

Everyone worked together, moving with small trolleys, and in less than an hour, more than forty people had filled up the five vehicles.

Li Yu hammered his waist and said:

”It’s too slow relying just on manpower. After you transport the food back, in addition to driving the trucks back, bring over the forklift and that small excavator as well.

This way, the transport will be easier, so people won’t be exhausted.”

Hearing Li Yu say this, Third Uncle asked, ”Aren’t you going back to the base?”

Li Yu shook his head and said, ”I’m not going back for now. Let’s talk after you bring the trucks over. I’ll ask a few people to wait here.

Anyway, we don’t need that many people back there.

Just take twenty people with you back to the base, let them drive the trucks here, and the rest of us will just wait here for you to return.”

Third Uncle didn’t refuse; after all, it made sense.

With so much food, they couldn’t transport it all in a short time, and someone still needed to watch over the food here.

So Third Uncle said:

”Okay, it’s 11 a.m. now, it’ll take us about an hour to get back. Wait for us here, and it’ll probably take half an hour to unload the food, and we’ll be back by around 1 p.m.”

Li Yu nodded and said, ”Good, start heading back early, and we’ll wait here for you.”

After finishing talking, Third Uncle immediately got into the vehicle, followed by Li Gang and others, and they left.

After Third Uncle and his team left, Li Yu called over Dapao, remembering that they had also driven some vehicles during this trip.

However, when they were close to Luo Tianyan’s place, to avoid making too much noise that might alert Black Snake and the others, they had parked the vehicles in a hidden spot next to the expressway exit.

The vehicles still had some packed meals and bullets inside.

Since yesterday until this morning, they had been eating compressed biscuits which, although filling, weren’t very tasty.

So he had Dapao take a few people to drive the vehicles up the mountain.

After hearing this, Dapao went down the mountain again to bring the vehicles back.

Having done all this, Li Yu suddenly remembered, if Captain Luo and his team wanted to go back, how would they transport without vehicles.

So he proactively asked:

”Old Luo, when you go back, do you have specific vehicles? Ordinary cars can’t carry much food.”

Captain Luo, who was feeling much better compared to yesterday after basking in the sun and looking rosier, thought about it.

Before coming to Luo Tianyan, he had found several heavy trucks on the road.

Given the current situation, the lives of his three men were in others’ hands, and after the interactions from yesterday and today, he had developed some trust in Li Yu.

After all, if Li Yu really wanted to monopolize the food,
