Chapter 243: A Meeting Across Time and Space (6)

”Pika!”

Pikachu transformed into a yellow lightning bolt and attacked Tyranitar.

The two-meter-long behemoth slashed at Tyranitar’s waist and abdomen, knocking Tyranitar back several meters.

”There is something wrong with this Pikachu!”

Seeing this outrageous attack, Iron-Masked Marauder instantly realized that Pikachu was not simple.

It could fly, and its strength was even above his Tyranitar. Was this really the weak electric mouse?

Thinking of this, Iron-Masked Marauder hurriedly took out his remaining Pokémon.

”Scizor, Sneasel, work with Tyranitar to block that Pikachu.”

”Go, Arbok, Weezing.”

Jessie and James also released their own Pokémon to block Ash and the others.

”Lucario, Gyarados, come out!”

Ash released two more Pokémon. The Gyarados was naturally the red Gyarados he had captured not long ago. After this period of conditioning, Gyarados’s condition was much better than before, so he released it to battle and gain some experience.

As for the other Pokémon, it was not yet time for them to appear. With Sammy by his side, it was not convenient for Ash to use too much of his Psychic powers.

Moreover, by appropriately going easy on Team Rockets, his Pokémon could get a few more high-level battles, which was a great Helping Hand for improving their strength. Why not?

”Hey, Jessie, what are you three doing? Hurry up and stop them!”

Seeing Ash taking out other Pokémon, Iron-Masked Marauder hurriedly called for Jessie and the others to act.

Hearing this, Meowth took out a remote control and said, ”Lord Iron-Masked Marauder, we’ll act right now, meow!”

As it pressed the red button on the remote, several large nets flew out from the nearby bushes instantly.

Lucario reacted quickly and used Aura Sphere to blow up the net covering Ash and the others, but Celebi’s reaction was a bit slow, and it was caught squarely by the large net launched by Meowth.

Seeing that Meowth had succeeded, Iron-Masked Marauder laughed wildly, ”Well done, Meowth, I’ll mark you down for a great achievement later!”

Meowth: ”...”

It was speechless. Wasn’t Celebi a legendary Pokémon? How could it be caught by just one net?

If it had known Celebi was so easy to catch, Meowth would never have agreed to any cooperation with Iron-Masked Marauder.

James did not know Meowth’s true thoughts, so he directly shouted according to the original plan, ”Weezing, use Smokescreen!”

Seeing James covering for him, the smile on Iron-Masked Marauder’s face grew even wider. He didn’t expect these three idiots to be so capable; they were nothing like the ”useless trio” rumored within the organization.

He pressed the control panel of the robot, and a mechanical arm took advantage of the smokescreen to easily bring Celebi in front of him. Along with Celebi, Jessie was also brought up.

”???”

Jessie looked at Iron-Masked Marauder in front of her, her face full of question marks.

Why was it different from the plan?

At this time, shouldn’t they have succeeded and taken Celebi away, while Iron-Masked Marauder helped them cover their retreat?

”Jessie, you did a great job! Celebi is mine! I’ll credit you for it later.”

Iron-Masked Marauder took out a Dusk Ball and tapped it against Celebi.

Just as Celebi was taken into the Dusk Ball, the wild Pokémon in the forest all ran over, showing expressions of hatred toward Iron-Masked Marauder.

A flock of Pidgeotto even surrounded him and pecked at Iron-Masked Marauder himself.

”Hmph, do you want to save this Celebi? Heh, I’ll let you understand that the Celebi you know no longer exists!”

Iron-Masked Marauder released the corrupted Celebi.

The corrupted Celebi’s eyes were full of malice, and its body radiated a chilling aura.

”Celebi, take them out.”

Hearing this, Celebi released a powerful Telekinesis, knocking back the surrounding wild Pokémon.

This Telekinesis also helped Ash and the others blow away Weezing’s smokescreen.

James looked at the corrupted Celebi and looked at Meowth in Telekinesis.

”Meowth, is this your plan?”

”What do you mean my plan? My plan was that once we caught Celebi, Jessie would be responsible for taking it away, and we would find a chance to retreat, letting Iron-Masked Marauder cover our rear, meow!”

Plans couldn’t keep up with changes, and Meowth was very helpless.

”Damn it, what exactly did you do to Celebi?”

Seeing Celebi’s personality change drastically, Sammy asked Iron-Masked Marauder angrily.

”Heh, Celebi has been captured by me with a Dusk Ball, and now it is an evil Pokémon!”

Iron-Masked Marauder laughed wildly.

”Come on, Celebi, let me see your power again!”

As soon as his words fell, Celebi released an even stronger Telekinesis that swirled around its body. This powerful Telekinesis transformed into a suction force, attracting dust, leaves, branches, flowers, and grass, forming a sphere in mid-air.

The sphere grew larger and larger, finally turning into a large sea urchin made of dust and dead branches.

The events happening in the forest soon attracted the attention of the Fruit Tree Village outside.

Miku and her grandmother flew toward the forest in White’s airship.

Meanwhile.

On a distant mountain, after seeing the rampaging Celebi in the forest, Suicune also quickly rushed to the scene.

On the airship.

”Sammy, don’t worry, the Dusk Ball is not unsolvable,” Ash comforted.

Sammy said, feeling rather indignant, ”But it’s too much that he is using Celebi to cause destruction.”

”That’s right, using the Forest Guardian to destroy the forest, how can there be such a person!”

”People from Team Rockets cannot be described by common sense; they are just a bunch of extremists.”

Misty stared intently at James and Meowth, who were hitching a ride on the ship.

”Hey, hey, hey, little girl, this matter cannot be blamed on us. It was Iron-Masked Marauder who did the bad things; don’t push it onto us, meow!”

Feeling the unkind gazes of the others, Meowth hurriedly shifted the blame to Iron-Masked Marauder.

”Heh, you guys are in the same gang as him, and you just teamed up to attack us,” Brock said.

”That was Iron-Masked Marauder forcing us. It’s not like you didn’t see that Jessie was captured by him.”

James also indicated that he would not take the blame.

Just kidding, if they took the blame for this, they would definitely end up in jail, and he didn’t want to dig a tunnel with his hands to escape from jail.

...

On the other side.

On top of the large wooden sea urchin created by Celebi.

Jessie, who was hanging upside down, called out, ”Lord Iron-Masked Marauder, please let me go!”

”I need someone to witness my great power. Jessie, just stay there and enjoy it! Watch what kind of power I have obtained.”

After Iron-Masked Marauder finished speaking, he looked up at the Celebi above and shouted again, ”Celebi, destroy to your heart’s content!”

Receiving the command, Celebi opened its eyes, and a strange purple light lit up in its eyes. Subsequently, the wooden sea urchin changed its form, becoming a giant treant.

A purple beam shot out from the treant’s head, cutting down a large number of trees, and finally, the beam shot into the Life Lake, causing waves dozens of meters high to explode.

”Lord Iron-Masked Marauder, I have seen it, and I am very aware of Celebi’s power. Since the experiment is over, I think you should send it to Boss Giovanni as soon as possible,” Jessie reminded.

Upon hearing this, Iron-Masked Marauder seemed to have heard an incredible joke and laughed wildly, ”Hahaha, not to mention that Giovanni is currently in the distant Kalos region, just the fact that I have already obtained the strongest Pokémon means no one can resist me. Why should I hand over Celebi?”

”The moment I obtained Celebi, I was no longer under the jurisdiction of Team Rockets! I am the only one who can conquer the world!”

Just as Iron-Masked Marauder finished cheering, a Gengar with patterns on its body and a huge size descended from the sky, landing in front of him.

”Gen-gar!”

As soon as Super Ancient Gengar appeared, it greeted him with a Dark Pulse.

Boom!

The Dark Pulse hit the treant’s arm, instantly blowing it off.

”What is this thing?”

Iron-Masked Marauder looked at Super Ancient Gengar with a bewildered face.

Jessie, who had seen Ash command Gengar, whispered, ”That is... the Ash’s Pokémon?”

”Great, we’re saved!”
