Chapter 240: Encounters Across Time and Space (3)

Ash glanced at the unconscious Sammy, then looked behind the shrine.

Misty crouched down and patted Sammy, ”Hey, are you okay?”

”Ash, he seems to have passed out. Should we...” Misty looked up and saw Ash staring behind the shrine, asking confusedly, ”Ash! What are you looking at?”

”There is a special Pokemon behind the shrine. Misty, you and Brock take this boy to Miss Miku’s house first. I’ll come over in a bit.”

Celebi’s injuries were not light. Ash planned to provide some simple treatment for Celebi first, then take it out.

”Okay!”

Although they didn’t know what Ash planned to do, Misty and Brock knew it must be something extremely important.

Brock picked up Sammy on his back and walked toward the outside of the forest.

Seeing that the two had walked far away, Ash walked behind the shrine and saw Celebi wobbling and flying in one direction.

Seeing this, Ash stepped forward quickly, gathered Celebi into his arms, and channeled Natural Power to heal it.

”Bi?”

As the Natural Power entered its body, Celebi felt as if it had returned to the embrace of the forest. In the blink of an eye, most of its injuries had recovered.

”Hello, Celebi!” Ash said softly.

”Bi?” (Who are you? Why can you use the power of nature?)

Celebi looked at Ash in Telekinesis. It was the first time it had seen a human who could mobilize the power of nature. Its Family could only mobilize the power of the forest, and the forest was only a part of nature. In other words, Ash’s authority was higher than its own.

What made Celebi even more confused was that Ash also carried the aura of various deities.

”My name is Ash, and I am a Pokemon Trainer from Pallet Town in this time and space. Welcome to our time and space, Celebi,” Ash answered.

Celebi could travel through forests in various time and spaces. Although Ash had seen the original theatrical version, he was not sure if the Celebi that came to save the day at the end was the same one.

However, judging from the different Celebi that idiot encountered during his travels in the original work, Celebi also existed as a species.

But one thing was certain: the Celebi in front of him was a visitor from another time.

”Ash? I will remember it!”

Celebi silently kept Ash in its heart.

It looked around and asked, ”By the way, Ash, where is the boy who came with me?”

”That boy passed out, so I had my partners take him out of the forest. Celebi, I’ll take you to see him.”

Hearing this, Celebi breathed a sigh of relief and nodded in response, ”Mm!”

That boy was ultimately a person from the past time and space. Celebi still needed to take him back, otherwise, there would be big trouble!

It concealed its figure and followed behind Ash.

On the other side, Brock and the others, who were running toward Miku’s house with Sammy on his back, also arrived under the treehouse of Miku’s house.

”Miss Miku!” Brock called out anxiously.

Up in the treehouse, Miku and her grandmother looked down at the tree in Telekinesis.

Seeing Brock carrying a boy out, they hurriedly climbed down the ladder.

At this moment, the unconscious Sammy gradually regained consciousness.

”Brock, he’s woken up!” Misty reminded him.

Hearing this, Brock hurriedly put Sammy down.

”Hey, pull yourself together. Are you okay?” Brock asked in a low voice.

Sammy seemed to recall something bad, pushing Brock away, ”I... I won’t hand over Celebi!”

”Hey, calm down! No one here is snatching your Pokemon!” Misty said.

”?”

Hearing this, Sammy showed a confused expression.

When Miku’s grandmother saw Sammy for the first time, she went up and hugged him with a happy face, saying, ”Ah! You are the one from that time... That’s great!”

”Grandma, do you know him?” Miku asked in Telekinesis.

”Didn’t I tell you that a boy disappeared in this forest forty years ago?”

”Ah?! Could it be this child?”

Miku showed a surprised expression. She had thought her grandmother and the old people in the village were lying to them young people.

”Yes, it can’t be wrong,” Miku’s grandmother nodded.

In the past, she had watched Sammy enter the forest with her own eyes. She would never forget Sammy’s face.

Sammy looked at Miku’s grandmother, as if remembering something, ”The big sister who gave me bread?”

”Hey, Misty, Brock!”

At this moment, Ash also walked out from the entrance of the forest.

Misty said, ”Ash, you’re finally back. Look, he’s awake.”

Ash glanced at Sammy’s expression and said slowly, ”It’s good that he’s awake.”

Subsequently, the group was invited by Miku’s grandmother to be guests at her home.

As soon as they sat down, Miku’s grandmother took out a wrapped notebook and handed it to Sammy, saying, ”This is what you dropped back then, right?”

Sammy just took one look and recognized it as his own sketchbook, ”This is mine!”

”I think you must have traveled through time and space!”

Miku’s grandmother’s words made everyone feel confused. Brock said, ”Travel through time and space? Is that really possible?”

”Brock, with the help of the legendary Pokemon—Celebi, it is possible,” Ash said.

”Celebi?”

Misty and Brock looked at each other, their inner Telekinesis growing.

Hearing the familiar name, Sammy, as if grabbing a life-saving straw, asked Ash, ”Celebi? You’ve seen Celebi, right? Where is it now?”

”Celebi, it is right here.”

Just as Ash finished speaking, Celebi appeared on Sammy’s shoulder.

Seeing Celebi safe and sound, Sammy looked relieved and said, ”Celebi, it’s great that you’re okay!”

”Bi~”

Celebi responded with a big smile on its face.

”Celebi’s injuries still need some time to Recover,” Ash reminded him.

Although Celebi was only at the Elite level, it was a legendary beast after all. Ash’s Natural Power could not make it fully Recover.

”Perhaps there is a place that can heal Celebi,” Miku’s grandmother suddenly said.

Sammy asked, ”What place?”

”Legend has it that Celebi lives in the Life Lake deep in the forest. The Life Lake has a very special ability to heal the injuries of any Pokemon.”

”Life Lake?”

Sammy looked at Celebi and said solemnly, ”Okay, I’ve decided. I want to take Celebi to the Life Lake!”

”I’ll go with you,” Ash said.

”Me too!” Misty and Brock also spoke up.

After some introductions, the group of four set off on the road to the Life Lake.

...

Inside the forest.

Blown away and crashed, the Team Rocket Trio were now hanging in a tree.

”Where on earth is this?” Jessie asked weakly.

Meowth sighed and said, ”I don’t know either, Meow!”

”Hm?!”

Suddenly, the Team Rocket Trio looked down and happened to see Ash’s group passing by.

”That... that’s the Ash’s group?”

”Looks like our luck is pretty good!”

When James saw Celebi flying around Sammy, he looked excited and shouted, ”Wait, I’ve found something good!”

”What good thing?” Jessie and Meowth turned their heads to look in Telekinesis.

”Look at that green Pokémon next to the Ash. That’s Celebi, known as the Guardian of the Forest, capable of taking people through time and space!” James said.

”Guardian of the Forest?”

”Traveling through time and space?”

Combining these two terms, dollar signs appeared in Jessie and Meowth’s eyes.
