Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chapter 262: Chapter 262: The Complete Destruction of the Mu Family, Time to Go Back

Chu Sheng flew up from Gu Yuexi’s shoulder, a Spatial Ring clutched in one of his mosquito-like legs.

He flew above the gathered Elders of the Mu Family. A round object then emerged from the Spatial Ring and plummeted to the ground.

It landed right before Mu Xiong’s eyes.

“BUZZ… ’Is this the Mu Family disciple you were talking about?’”

THUD!

A dull thud echoed in the ears of Mu Xiong and the others.

They looked at the object that had fallen before them… Was… was that a human head?

That was…

The head of… Mu Hong?

Mu Hong wasn’t just an Elder of the Mu Family. He was Mu Xiong’s own younger brother!

Seeing this, Mu Xiong and the other Mu Family Elders looked as if their eyes would split from their sockets. Their voices trembled.

“Impossible!”

“Mu Hong was escorting our Mu Family disciples on a ship! By now, he should be tens of kilometers away from Hong Kong Island!”

“Impossible!”

Just then, a realization struck Mu Xiong.

’If Mu Hong is dead, then what about the others on the ship?’

’No, it’s absolutely impossible!’

Trembling, Mu Xiong looked up just in time to see another head fall from the sky.

This time, it was Mu Wei.

Chu Sheng’s buzzing sounded again:

“BUZZ… BUZZ BUZZ… ’Oh, so this is an Elder, not one of the Mu Family disciples?’”

“BUZZ… ’Well, what about these?’”

As soon as he finished,

A deluge of dozens of bloody heads rained down from the sky, landing in a pile before the members of the Mu Family.

Mu Xiong’s pupils quaked. He stared at the faces of the Mu Family disciples, and his mind completely shattered.

“NO!!!”

A mournful, desperate roar tore from his throat.

All eighty-seven disciples of the Mu Family’s direct lineage who had been on that ship… not a single one survived.

From high above, Gu Yuexi looked down upon the desperate wails of the Mu Family, her expression remaining perfectly calm.

’They don’t deserve pity.’

’When you do something wrong, you must pay the price.’

’Especially when you offend a future—no, a past-life Empress.’

’The might of an Empress… Is it something that can be so easily challenged?’

’After Mu Linyuan’s death, the Mu Family could have cut their losses, but they continued to make one mistake after another.’

’This outcome… they brought it upon themselves!’

…

At this moment, witnessing this bloody and desperate scene, even the Elders from the other surrounding clans were secretly stunned.

They had only known that Gu Yuexi was planning to act against the Mu Family Elders who had laid this ambush.

They never expected that she had already dealt with the Mu Family disciples who were secretly trying to escape!

’So decisive, so thorough—eradicating the problem, root and stem!’

How had she discovered the Mu Family’s plot? And how, with two Mu Family Elders protecting them, did she manage to kill all those disciples in such a short amount of time?

No one knew!

Now, as everyone looked at Gu Yuexi and Chu Sheng in the air, their gazes held a newfound sense of awe.

It had nothing to do with their cultivation realm.

It was about their decisive actions, their ruthless methods, their sheer audacity!

Anyone else facing an assassination attempt from a major power like the Mu Family would have likely chosen to lay low for a while.

But…

…this human and beast’s choice was… ’You want to kill me?’

’Then you will all die. Not a single one will be spared. I will eliminate this problem for good!’

Who else possessed such domineering, arrogant audacity?

…

The members of the Mu Family had already sunk into the depths of despair.

Even Mu Xiong, confronted with the heads of his own direct descendants, was completely overcome by his emotions.

Just then!

Chu Sheng, still in mid-air, seized the opportunity—a flaw that appeared in Mu Xiong’s defense as his emotions shattered.

In an instant!

He activated the tenth gear of his Silent Annihilation Battle Armor!

His figure instantly transformed into a streak of blood-red light, piercing through Mu Xiong’s body with incredible Speed and Destructive Power.

It all happened so fast that no one, not even Gu Yuexi, had time to react.

DRIP. DRIP. DRIP…

Blood trickled from Mu Xiong’s mouth and body, dripping down to pool on the ground.

In a direct confrontation, even at full power, Chu Sheng would have been no match for Mu Xiong.

But the immense shock from seeing the heads, combined with the fact that every Hong Kong Islander cultivates Mental Power and thus has a fragile physique, gave Chu Sheng the momentary opening he needed.

Finally, Mu Xiong raised his head. His vacant eyes stared at Chu Sheng before he collapsed, lifeless.

The remaining Mu Family Elders soon fell one by one as well.

Viyar Port had become the final resting place for the Patriarch of the Mu Family and his Elders.

…

「Meanwhile.」

On an ordinary cargo ship sailing from Hong Kong Island to a port on the Continent.

A gaunt, white-haired old man was huddled in a corner of the ship’s hold.

No one would have ever imagined that this was one of the former Twelve Emperors of Hong Kong Island—the Grand Elder of the Mu Family, Mu Cangxuan.

Indeed, Mu Cangxuan had not been on the ship with the family’s direct lineage, nor had he joined Mu Xiong in the ambush to kill Gu Yuexi.

He had another important mission.

His mission was to travel to the Continent, to the Capital City, and find the Mu Family’s most outstanding disciple: Mu Chen, who was currently studying at Capital City University.

Mu Chen was the Mu Family’s last hope for a resurgence. Mu Cangxuan’s mission was to secretly protect what might be the final strand of the family’s Bloodline.

If necessary, he would even escort Mu Chen to the White Eagle Empire.

For this reason, he had not hesitated to adopt this disguise in order to leave Hong Kong Island undetected.

As the cargo ship drew ever closer to the port on the Continent, a faint smile touched Mu Cangxuan’s ancient face.

But just then…

A pair of feet appeared before him.

Mu Cangxuan looked up, and his face instantly turned deathly pale.

The visitor was none other than the Hong Kong Island City Lord, Ye Qingzhou.

“Mu Cangxuan, your Mu Family is suspected of colluding with the White Eagle Empire. You’re not going anywhere.”

Mu Cangxuan’s face was a mask of utter shock.

“Impossible! There’s no way you could have known I was here!”

He prepared to flee, but Mu Cangxuan, whose cultivation had long since declined from his peak, was no match for Ye Qingzhou, an expert at the Peak of the Emperor Realm.

He had barely risen to his feet before he slumped back down. His head lolled to one side, and all life left him.

…

At Viyar Port, a gentle sea breeze was blowing.

Everything here had already been cleaned up under the direction of the Nine Great Clans.

As if nothing had ever happened.

Gu Yuexi stood alone atop a high tower overlooking the port, her hair dancing in the wind.

Perched in her hair, Chu Sheng had clearly witnessed Mu Cangxuan’s death through the Reconnaissance Louse he had planted on the man’s head.

Thanks to the Reconnaissance Louse, Chu Sheng had been aware of all the Mu Family’s movements from the very beginning. When he learned that Mu Cangxuan was escaping alone, he had secretly transferred the louse onto him.

“BUZZ… ’Mu Cangxuan is dead, too.’”

With that, the Mu Family was utterly destroyed. The only one left was Mu Chen, far away in the Capital City.

Hearing this, Gu Yuexi nodded.

Her gaze swept across the nighttime view of Hong Kong Island before finally settling on the Continent across the water.

’All my objectives for coming to Hong Kong Island have been completed.’

’The old scores have been settled.’

’It’s time to go back.’
