Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chapter 252: Chapter 252: Competing with Lord Mosquito in Instant Teleportation? You’re Done For.

“You damn mosquito.”

Inside the ship’s cabin, Gu Yuexi’s face was pale. She smiled at Chu Sheng and spoke four words.

“Let’s… break the covenant.”

The moment she finished speaking, the expressions of everyone in the cabin changed.

Ye Qingzhou, Chen Shouzheng, and the others were all shrewd veterans. They instantly realized Gu Yuexi’s intention.

She wanted to break the covenant to prevent the Divine Mosquito from being affected by the Blood Covenant…

’Has she… given up?’

’Then again, it’s not like she has a choice. Even City Lord Ye is powerless.’

’Perhaps preserving the Divine Mosquito, a Demon Beast with an Emperor-level Bloodline, really is the best possible outcome.’

’What the hell?’

’Break the covenant?’

Chu Sheng froze, dumbfounded.

Just a moment ago, while the others were discussing what to do, he had activated his Nether Vision to search for the Ghost Assassin’s location.

’But the moment he turned back, Gu Yuexi was talking about breaking the covenant?’

’Did the poison fry her brain?’

Just then, Gu Yuexi spoke again:

“City Lord Ye, I have a Secret Realm that can forcibly raise my Spiritual Realm to Fifth-Grade in a short amount of time.”

“However, I’ll need your help.”

Ye Qingzhou sighed and nodded silently, which only further confirmed his suspicions about Gu Yuexi’s intentions.

Chu Sheng was speechless.

“BZZZ?”

’Seriously? You all talked for this long and *this* is what you came up with?’

’What about the antidote?’

’You don’t have one?’

’If you can’t do it, you should’ve said so earlier! Just let me give it a shot!’

’All this convoluted nonsense about forcibly raising her Realm and breaking the covenant.’

He couldn’t be bothered to waste any more time. He flew directly onto Gu Yuexi’s shoulder, extended his proboscis—the Soul-devouring Demon Spike—and plunged it into her delicate, pale neck.

Soul-devouring Nether Flame!

The Soul-devouring Nether Flame was a flame inherent to his Core Skill, the Soul-devouring Demon Spike. It could incinerate both flesh and soul, as well as purify curses and Bloodline impurities!

As for whether it could cure poison, Chu Sheng wasn’t sure.

Even if it could, the poison had already seeped into Gu Yuexi’s Qi Blood and even her Mental Power. This was different from just purifying a Bloodline; the detoxification process would be excruciating. If her Mental Power came into contact with the Soul-devouring Nether Flame, it would be like having her very soul set ablaze…

That was why he hadn’t tried using the Soul-devouring Nether Flame right away.

But now, he had no other choice but to try.

Chu Sheng guided the Soul-devouring Nether Flame into Gu Yuexi’s body and, just as he suspected, discovered a black substance within her blood!

It was the toxin from the Nine Nether Soul-Extinguishing Powder, clinging to and corroding Gu Yuexi’s flesh!

’Shit!’

’Still causing trouble in there?’

’I’m here to take you out!’

’Soul-devouring Nether Flame, get it!’

Under Chu Sheng’s control, the Cyan Flame Power of the Soul-devouring Nether Flame lunged at the toxin!

SWOOSH!

Instantly, any toxin the Soul-devouring Nether Flame touched dissolved into nothing!

“Ngh…”

Gu Yuexi couldn’t help but let out a soft groan.

’Just as I thought, it’s painful!’

’But it’s working!’

The black aura surrounding Gu Yuexi seemed to have faded slightly.

“This is…”

“This Divine Mosquito… can it actually cure poison? Even the Nine Nether Soul-Extinguishing Powder?”

“That’s impossible. Didn’t they say only the Poison Emperor could cure it?”

Gu Yuexi stared in a daze, the dim light in her eyes starting to brighten once more.

“You damn mosquito?”

“You… you have a way to cure me?”

Chu Sheng:

“BZZ, BZZZ. (This is going to hurt a bit. Hang in there.)”

…

Next, Chu Sheng focused completely, guiding the Nether Flame as it surged through her meridians. Wherever it went, the inky black toxins fled in a panic as if they’d met their ultimate doom, but they were all eventually incinerated!

Throughout the process, Gu Yuexi bit down hard on her lower lip, so hard that blood seeped from between her teeth.

Veins bulged on her forehead and cold sweat instantly soaked her hair, but she stubbornly refused to make another sound.

Before everyone’s disbelieving eyes, the black aura between her brows and around her body receded at a visible rate, and color returned to her ashen face.

「A few moments later.」

Chu Sheng withdrew the Soul-devouring Demon Spike and buzzed nonchalantly:

“BZZZ. (All done.)”

…

“It’s cured? It’s really cured!”

Seeing Gu Yuexi completely unharmed, Chen Shouzheng and the others wore expressions of utter disbelief.

“That’s a poison invented by the Poison Emperor! Is there anything this Divine Mosquito can’t do?”

“That was a close call. This is wonderful!”

“Haha, I finally understand why that fellow Shepherd Mountain from the Hong Kong University Beast Taming Academy placed so much importance on a cockroach. If it were me, I’d do the same!”

“A cockroach? Hell, I’d build a shrine for a dung beetle if it could do that!”

The various Patriarchs now looked at Chu Sheng as if he were a priceless treasure, a top-tier artifact of immense value!

The poison was cured.

After taking a few Elixirs, Gu Yuexi quickly recovered.

And now, it was time to settle the score.

Chu Sheng activated his Nether Vision again. A field of view covering a thirty-thousand-meter radius instantly unfurled.

’An assassin who has mastered the Spatial Realm, you say?’

’Heh, so you like to use Instant Teleportation? Let’s see where you can run.’

…

「On a reef somewhere in the vast ocean.」

The assassin, Ghost, was hidden in a crevice.

’The mission is complete.’

’Next is the escape. After all, there’s an Emperor Realm Powerhouse on that ship.’

And Ghost’s method of escape was none other than Instant Teleportation.

Having comprehended the Spatial Realm to the level of Great Success was his greatest source of pride!

It was this very ability that had allowed him to complete so many seemingly impossible assassination missions and successfully escape every single time.

At that moment, tucked in the crevice of the reef, Ghost leaned against the rock wall, a miserable sight to behold.

His face was a mangled mess of blood and flesh, revealing a large patch of bone. Even his nose and lips were gone!

Just as he’d completed the assassination and was teleporting away, he had been hit by Chu Sheng’s Attack. Relying on his Instant Teleportation Ability, Ghost had been confident that no Attack could touch him.

But that black fire had appeared on his face out of nowhere, with no warning or trajectory, and had immediately begun to incinerate his flesh!

He had frantically tried to extinguish it, but nothing worked!

In the end, he’d had no choice but to brutally carve off a layer of his own skin and flesh from his face!

Now, Ghost’s appearance was utterly hideous, and a piercing pain continuously wracked his body.

“That damned mosquito!”

“Heh, but by now, that Gu Yuexi is surely dead. And since that mosquito is her Contracted Beast, it must be dead too!”

“Otherwise, I would have hunted it down for revenge! I’d have torn it open and let it have a taste of this pain!”

Ghost muttered, grinding his teeth.

Just then, a faint, barely audible buzzing sound reached his ears, making Ghost extremely irritable.

“Damn it, where did this mosquito come from!”

“Wait, a mosquito?”

Ghost suddenly sensed something was wrong. He spun around in shock.

There, a pair of exquisitely beautiful yet bone-chillingly cold eyes, filled with murderous intent, were staring at him. And the buzzing sound was coming from her shoulder.

“Damn it! This is impossible!”

“Why aren’t you dead?! And… and how did you track me here?”

Ghost was shocked that Gu Yuexi was still alive, but what terrified him even more was that she had managed to find him here.

This place was nearly ten thousand meters away from the warship!

’Unless… she can use Instant Teleportation too?!’

Realizing this, Ghost wasted no time. He vanished into thin air once more, reappearing several thousand meters away over another patch of sea.

However, the instant he appeared, a spatial fluctuation rippled nearby, and the figures of Chu Sheng and Gu Yuexi appeared almost simultaneously!

“Impossible! Even if you can use Instant Teleportation, how could you possibly know my destination!”

At this moment, Ghost was utterly panicked.

He hurriedly teleported again, but no matter where he reappeared, Chu Sheng and Gu Yuexi would effortlessly follow in the next instant.

A rare spatial cat-and-mouse game unfolded across the surface of the ocean.

The figures flickered in and out of existence across a sea area spanning tens of thousands of square kilometers, appearing and disappearing, appearing and disappearing.

’Heh, we’re both at the Great Success Realm!’

’Chu Sheng’s current Instant Teleportation range is about 330,000 meters! Ghost’s limit, on the other hand, is barely ten thousand meters.’

’What’s more, Chu Sheng has a “cheat” like Nether Vision!’

’You want to compete with Lord Mosquito in Instant Teleportation?’

’Sorry, but you’re… screwed!’
