She is the Side Character! — Watch Her Change her fate!

Chapter 374: Chapter 373: Victims Behind the Holographic Reality Show, Part 26

Wen Chulin once again blocked a full arrangement; the school wasn’t far from here, and he decided to go there.

[Host, he blocked you again, what a coward.]

Ah Chen laughed: [Quickly let me out.]

[Let out now.] 997 said.

Ah Chen intended to send another message to Wen Chulin, when suddenly she paused, and turned on the TV in the room. Every channel was broadcasting responses to the merger of two worlds.

Suddenly some familiar figures appeared on the streets, quickly subduing the zombies, while those mutated creatures causing great harm were eliminated first.

At the same time, an orphanage was surrounded by mutated creatures, and the director and teachers protecting the children were in despair, as the door suddenly opened, their hearts skipped a beat—were they going to die? But seeing the people coming in, the children cheered and ran over.

”Sister Chenchen.”

”Sister Chenchen is here.”

”It’s Sister Chenchen!”

Thus, the orphanage’s crisis was resolved.

Ah Chen sat in the room, aware of all this, finally feeling at ease. Whether her other subordinates from the Virtual World could appear in the real world, she couldn’t be sure. But her character was sure to appear.

That’s also why she didn’t rush to the orphanage at the first moment.

It’s good to be out of danger.

She refocused her gaze on the TV, watching the official arrangements.

There should be quite a few subordinates in the Virtual World, and under the lead of Zombie Bei Chen, there should soon be a way to tackle the situation.

But whether the medicines researched previously have any effect still needs testing, it probably won’t go smoothly.

She thought of Xie Fuguang, who also researched medicines, not just one generation it seemed, if there could be cooperation between the two...

Zombie Bei Chen also embodied her soul, connected deeply with hers, as she thought of these things, that side thought of them too at the same time. After settling down the orphanage kids and the director and teachers, they would certainly arrange for someone to test first whether their researched medicine has any effect on the mutated creatures of the other world. If not, then continue the research, and eventually send Xie Fuguang over.

He should be willing.

Only he seems to have a problem currently, which she hasn’t figured out, needs an opportunity to check.

At this moment, Xie Fuguang’s voice sounded: ”I always felt this world became strange, turns out it’s... merged with another world.”

”You’re not from my world, but from another world, aren’t you?” he asked further.

Now calming down and observing, she was clean and neat, her complexion rosy, wearing jewelry, and her clothes weren’t suitable for combat and escape.

So, it made sense she was a person from another world.

”Your world was peaceful before, wasn’t it?” he continued to ask, with a tone of regret, regretting that a peaceful world had merged with his apocalyptic world, they could only face the apocalypse together.

But to undergo merging, it wasn’t something anyone could prevent.

Xie Fuguang was also receiving outside information, currently those leading it all were people from her world, the officials seemed to have known something like this would happen, the world was chaotic, but not as chaotic as imagined, even many places had been pacified.

Also, a batch of very powerful people appeared, quite numerous.

These people upon seeing destructive mutated creatures, mostly killed them, and upon seeing zombies, captured and bound them.

Surprised, Xie Fuguang wondered, what’s going on?

In his world, after the apocalypse, except for very few who couldn’t harm their loved ones, choosing to bind them, most would resolve crises as quickly as possible to escape. This is indeed the most correct approach, zombie existence endlessly threatens the living.

But these suddenly appearing powerful existences seemed ordered not to kill zombies.

Yet these people didn’t look like officials from her world, what on earth for?

Soon, Xie Fuguang saw among these people someone holding a spray medicine towards the mutated creatures, the creatures started struggling fiercely, appearing to become a bit more docile, their power weakened, but their ferocious traits hadn’t disappeared. Stunned, Xie Fuguang thought, is this... his eyes sparkled with surprise, does someone else hold the same idea as him?

Feeling the medicine direction was correct, lacking just a bit, just a bit more.

If he could communicate with them, perhaps he could research better medicine.

Only... his current situation wasn’t good.

Unpredictable when he could lose rationality, but... all his data was here, with those having researched this medicine, his data would surely be useful.

”Still don’t know your name?” Xie Fuguang suddenly asked.

Ah Chen answered, ”Bei Chen.”

”Could you help me, would you?” He hadn’t had such human interactions for a long time, several years of apocalypse, always staying at this place, never venturing outside. Whatever matter occurred, he arranged robots to handle.

Ah Chen asked, ”What is it?”

”Soon I’ll let robots deliver some document bags outside, these are data, before this, I will scan and backup them multiple times, then hand them to an authority from your world, first let them test on mutated creatures whether it works. If not, inform them, to restore zombies one must seek collaboration with those appearing brave in your TV screen.”

Speaking concurrently, Xie Fuguang arranged robot assistants to scan documents.

Ah Chen asked, ”What about you? Why not collaborate with them?”

”My situation isn’t good,” he paused and said, ”I feel I might lose my human consciousness anytime.”

Then become a monster, a very powerful monster, he felt it coming, therefore installed a self-destruct system long beforehand. In case human consciousness was lost in an instant, the self-destruct program would be triggered, his body blasted to dust.

Even if he was out of time, robot assistants would help, all preparations were well made, mistakes wouldn’t happen.

These matters he didn’t elaborate, considering it unnecessary.

”Could we meet?” Ah Chen asked, ”I’m curious about you.”

Xie Fuguang was somewhat baffled, even now, still curious about him, this woman indeed hailed from a peaceful world.

”I can agree, if you let me see.”

Xie Fuguang felt a pulse in his forehead, suddenly thought she was a bit thick-skinned.

But in Ah Chen’s room, the TV screen flickered briefly, revealing a figure in a white coat appeared on the TV.

His face pale, pupils no longer human-like.

No expressions displayed, but vaguely showing discomfort.
