Super Gene Hunting Ground

Yang Xiao laughed:

”Who said it’s for you? You can give it to the Ape King, just say it’s an Elixir Medicine bought from the Genetic Store on Witch Star that enhances Genetic Evolution Ability, which could help break through the evolution bottleneck.”

”But what if the Ape King dies after eating it?”

”This side effect might not occur, its Evolution Level is higher than yours and it has strong resistance; it shouldn’t happen. Besides, it’s not you who’d die, why are you scared?”

”This?”

Black Jinkang scratched his head.

Yang Xiao whispered softly:

”It’s a mission; you have to help me complete it. You eat so many killed Demon Beasts every day, did you suddenly become soft-hearted?”

”Hehe, okay, sure!”

Black Chimpanzee laughed.

For Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King, Yang Xiao held an absolute first place in their hearts, as he was their hope for survival.

Although they didn’t know why Yang Xiao asked them to do this, they would carry out the task unconditionally.

Yang Xiao handed the specially made elixir to Black Jinkang,

”I will come and check tomorrow.”

After saying that, he turned around and left on a Spaceship.

Black Jinkang took the Elixir Medicine and ran toward a distant valley where a group of gorillas gathered.

The Ape King was already an Emperor Level Demon Beast, capable of transforming into a human shape, but it still preferred to keep its animal form, as its Combat Power was strongest in that shape.

In the entire tribe, only three gorillas had evolved to Emperor Level, and the Ape King was the oldest among them.

Black Jinkang from Earth shared the same species with the gorillas from Purple Origin Star.

Because of the strong backing of the human Yang Xiao, Black Jinkang had become a powerful figure in this colony.

”Boss, boss,”

The Ape King was lying under a big tree sleeping, and Black Jinkang came over, softly calling.

The Ape King opened one eye, glanced at Black Jinkang, and then closed his eyes, saying faintly:

”I am going to sleep, go play with the other gorillas.”

”Boss, I have something good for you.”

”Oh?”

”My brother just gave me an Elixir Medicine, purchased from the Genetic Store, which can break through the Genetic Evolution Bottleneck. I thought you are currently facing the bottleneck, so I especially brought it over for you.”

”Hmm?”

The Ape King opened his eyes wide and sat up.

”Shh, speak softly, don’t let the other two brothers hear it; I only have one, it’s very precious and hard to get.”

All Demon Beasts knew that the Genetic Store on Witch Star was miraculous; some injured Demon Beasts even sought the Small Blood Pill and Medium Blood Pill from there, known as Divine Medicines.

Black Jinkang held the black pill in front of Ape King.

The Star King took the pill, looked at it, and saw it was black with a translucent sparkle, evidently of good quality.

He smelled it; it had a fragrance of herbs.

”Can this thing really break the Genetic Evolution Bottleneck?”

”Is it? I told my brother a while ago that I was facing an Evolution Bottleneck, so he said he’d get me this Elixir Medicine; he especially brought it with his Spaceship today. But I thought, Boss, you need it more, so I brought it to you.”

”Hehe, good, Black Jinkang. You’ve really earned my care. I’ll give you my daughter when she grows up a bit.”

”Hehe, thank you, Boss!”

The Ape King, holding the black pill, was extremely excited. The Genetic Evolution Bottleneck that had troubled him for many years was about to be broken.

”Just eat it directly?”

”Hmm.”

Black Jinkang nodded.

The Ape King, without hesitation, popped it in his mouth. The pill immediately transformed into a cooling electric current inside his body.

”How does it feel?”

Black Jinkang asked, all the while watching the lower body of Ape King, worried that the Ape King might suddenly die.

”Mmm, comfortable, it feels good,”

”Well then, that’s good. My brother said, sleep after taking the Elixir Medicine, and everything will be fine after waking up.”

”Oh? I do feel a bit dizzy and wanted to sleep.”

Suddenly, Ape King felt darkness before his eyes, and he straight away collapsed on the grass.

Black Jinkang looked back, stood up, and muttered in his heart:

”I don’t know what effect this thing has on Boss, using these gorillas for experiments probably isn’t anything good. I better get going quick.”

Thinking this in his heart, Black Chimpanzee deliberately said loudly:

”Alright, Boss, have a good sleep, I won’t disturb you anymore. I’m off.”

The nearby gorillas, seeing Ape King lying down to sleep, didn’t think anything unusual.

Still a bit antsy, Black Jinkang returned to the water’s edge and found the Golden Lion King, whispering:

”Lion, I don’t know what kind of strange thing the Boss made. After the Ape King ate it, he just fainted. Darn, it scared the hell out of me.”

Golden Lion King indifferently said:

”Whatever it is, just do what the Boss told us to. Did other gorillas see you doing this?”

”Am I that dumb? Of course not.”

”Heh, truly you are impressive.”

”Heh, we’ve been following the Boss for so long, we’ve surely become a bit smarter. I can tell what the Boss is up to by the way he lifts his behind.”

”Oh, say that to the Boss’s face tomorrow.”

”Me? Silly lion, we can’t snitch in front of the Boss; otherwise, I’m breaking off our friendship.”

”Hehe...”

...

In the evening, Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King returned together to Gorilla Canyon, and from afar, they saw dozens of gorillas forming a circle, howling loudly.

”Wow, something’s up, what do we do? Lion!”

”Silly chimpanzee, don’t panic, let’s go see it first.”

Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King, with uneasy hearts, walked over and asked:

”What happened, what’s going on?”

”Oh, Black Jinkang, you came back just in time, come see, the king, he…”

Black Jinkang stepped into the circle, glanced at the Ape King lying on the grass, and his mind went ”buzz” as it exploded.

Ape King was in a deep sleep,

”Did the Ape King die?”
