Chapter 1611: Chapter 557: King of Tyrannosaurs

Soon, the Twin Flame Spirits, Ogre and Otto, descended on fire hawks beside the group.

At this moment, Sword Saint Terrio began introducing everyone to Rein.

”Lord Rein, these two are the ones known as the ’Twin Flame Spirits,’ Ogre Zock...”

”Lord Rein, although this is our first meeting, I have long heard of your glorious deeds from Lord Terrio,” Ogre greeted, bowing slightly.

”Lord Ogre, hello.” Rein nodded slightly with a smile.

However, at this moment, the attitude of the other five top-level Federation champions, besides Terrio and Haleem, had changed significantly from before.

Previously, these few were more or less dissatisfied that the Dragan Empire only sent a young man to participate in this cooperative exploration. Some even thought of creating challenges for Rein, making this young man retreat in the face of difficulties.

But now, not only did the five of them take the initiative to bow, there was no doubt or disrespect in their eyes.

This is the change brought by strength.

Rein was naturally aware of this.

”It seems there’s no need for further demonstration,” Rein thought.

After all, in a joint exploration, if everyone in the team is dissatisfied or suspicious of each other, it would obviously prevent unity when facing difficulties, which is extremely important when exploring the high-risk Floating City Ruins.

Of course, although it’s still premature to say everyone can work seamlessly together, it’s at least a good start.

At this moment, Rein believed that his words carried more weight than before.

After a simple introduction and exchange of pleasantries, the group headed once again to the cavern camp.

”Lord Terrio, have you made any further explorations of the ruins recently?” Rein asked casually.

”No, alas... recently...” Sword Saint Terrio sighed and shook his head, then briefly outlined the situation.

”Oh? Have you all been obstructed on the second basement level? A massive metal dinosaur appeared on the second basement level?” Rein was a bit surprised to hear this.

He had thought that with the Federation’s team of seven epic strongmen, they would have explored to the third or even fourth basement level, but...

As for the massive metal dinosaur on the second basement level, Rein was sure that when he explored the prison on that level, there was no sign of it.

After all, according to Terrio’s description, an enormous metal dinosaur even larger than Metheus could not have gone unnoticed.

”Yes, Lord Rein. Moreover, I am basically certain that the giant metal dinosaur appearing on the second basement level should be the top-tier force of the ancient goblin mechanical legion — the Mechanical Tyrannosaurus King.”

At this point, Haleem chimed in.

Hearing the words ”Tyrannosaurus King,” Rein noticed a flicker of fear in the eyes of those around him.

”The Tyrannosaurus King?” Rein nodded, deep in thought.

He trusted Haleem’s judgment.

But why would the Tyrannosaurus King appear on the second basement level?

Normally, the third basement level is the location of the goblin military camp, meaning the creature moved from the third to the second basement level of its own accord.

This is... an escape attempt?

Suddenly, a flash of insight crossed Rein’s mind, and he thought of this possibility.

”Have there been any recent disturbances?” Rein continued to ask.

”Yes, according to the soldiers responsible for continuous surveillance, the frequency of noises from the Floating City has been increasing, and the sounds are becoming louder, although there are no obvious surface changes,” Terrio explained.

Hearing this, Rein became even more convinced of his earlier speculation.

It’s highly possible that the Fiend Demon is manipulating goblin corpses at various levels, attempting to escape from the Floating City Ruins. Otherwise, the machines wouldn’t proactively move from the third to the second basement level.

Obviously, they cannot allow the opposition to escape from the ruins.

Otherwise, unforeseen severe consequences will occur.

It seems... that they must explore quickly.

As the outer rock walls of the cavern camp had been further dismantled, the two Giant Dragons, Metheus and Dorick, also followed Rein inside, startling many of the Federation soldiers and researchers.

”Lord Rein, perhaps you should rest for a bit first, over here...”

”Wait, Lord Terrio, I see everyone is in good condition. Why don’t we set off now?” Rein waved his hand, interrupting Terrio’s suggestion for him to rest.

”Now?”

Hearing Rein’s words, those present, including Haleem, looked at Rein in surprise.

As if to ask, isn’t this a bit too much?

You’ve just arrived from a long journey across the Empire, and now you’re going to explore the ruins?

”Yes, I feel that the longer we delay, the more unfavorable it will be for subsequent explorations of the ruins,” Rein said solemnly.

At Rein’s words, everyone fell silent for a moment.

As the strongest among them, every word Rein spoke was worth careful consideration by all.

”Alright, Lord Rein, then let’s set off now.” After a brief thought, Sword Saint Terrio nodded.

In fact, as the team leader on the Federation side, he was under considerable pressure since there hadn’t been much progress or substantial discoveries despite all the time that had passed.

Moreover, it’s not necessarily about making greater discoveries this time; even gaining further understanding of the changes within the Floating City is considered laying a solid foundation for the next steps in exploration.
