Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys

Chapter 792: Chapter 299: Lava Giant (Two in One Mega Chapter)

Asimov watched Rein, his eyes flickering.

The other’s strength far surpassed his expectations, not only was he a wizard and a Great Knight, he also seemed to be skilled in beast taming, able to control ferocious beasts such as eagles and dogs.

Moreover, the most crucial point was that the other party was still so young.

It was truly unimaginable how the other had achieved all this.

Now that enmity had been formed.

It naturally would be best to eliminate the other party as soon as possible.

He couldn’t sit and wait for the other’s strength to improve once more and come back seeking revenge.

“It seems that only by using that artifact will I be assured to eliminate him in one fell swoop,” Asimov said, a pained expression crossing his face, which quickly flashed by before his expression firmed up.

His entire face turned crimson in an instant, and he rapidly began chanting aloud, his pace and rhythm as fast as the top-level rap artists Rein had seen in his previous life.

At the same time, Asimov quickly took out an Array Plate with his left hand.

With the spell uttered at a speed that was almost unintelligible, the Array Plate soon began to glow, casting a pale green projection onto the ground.

A reversed pentagram array was swiftly displayed.

Immediately after, the ground where the witchcraft array laid began to flicker with bright red light, vibrating intensely and quickly bulging.

The moment his opponent used the innate ability ‘Frenzy,’ Rein knew that he was going all out.

Since that was the case…

With a tap of his toes, the water beneath his boots exploded into a ring of splashes.

And Rein, holding the Two-Handed Warhammer diagonally with both hands, its head nearly scraping the ground, rushed towards Asimov, the air torn by his high-speed movement instantly creating a long vacuum corridor in the pouring rain.

Rein could clearly feel that the vibration of the ground this time even surpassed the previous magma giant hands.

And to think, with the help of the innate talent ‘Frenzy’ of a troll and the cooperation of the Array Plate, one could imagine the power of the witchcraft that Asimov was using at that moment!

Indeed, just as Rein was about to bypass the swelling ground,

“Splash!”

Magma splattered everywhere!

Two magma giant hands extended out simultaneously from the ground, one on each side, forcibly splitting open the red light-flickering ground, and from the inverted pentagram array, a huge humanoid monster emerged.

This was a giant similar to the Obsidian Giants Rein had once seen, only the elements forming its body had shifted from obsidian to the more lethal, red-hot stone and magma!

But it didn’t end there.

Asimov’s voice suddenly became more strident, and he quickly took out a box from his chest, looking reluctant but still swiftly opened it, and pushed a fist-sized Crystal Stone, glinting with red light, towards the magma monster with force.

The heart-shaped red Crystal Stone automatically floated in mid-air and, like a red comet, swiftly flew into the chest of the magma monster and merged instantly!

Immediately, the momentum of the magma monster surged!

Its height grew from around six or seven meters to eight or nine meters, and its limbs and face became ever more defined, looking like an oversized human.

“With the power of the Legendary item ‘Heart of Magma,’ my magma monster’s strength has also successfully reached the power of the legendary magma giants,” Asimov thought to himself.

“Kid, time to die!” Asimov sneered with a laugh!

As soon as his mind moved, the tall magma giant clenched its fists together, landing a heavy hammer blow towards Rein.

Naturally, Rein wouldn’t opt to take the hit head-on; dodging the heavy strike, he rolled aside and nimbly evaded it.

“Boom!!!”

The heavy magma giant hands, each several meters in length, smashed into the ground, creating a huge semicircular crater about seven or eight meters in diameter, sending mud and magma flying in all directions!

Accompanied by the rain pouring from the sky, a hot and cold mist instantly formed, spreading around.

And the ground was shaking violently, as though an earthquake of magnitude eight had struck!

Rein managed to dodge successfully, but once again he felt that same sensation he had when facing the ancient hero, Mong.

“Such immense power!” Rein looked at the towering magma giant, his expression grave.

“Heh heh, you may dodge once, but how many more times can you dodge?” Asimov, standing atop the magma giant’s head, watched Rein continuously dodge and instantly felt elated.

Suddenly, Asimov seemed to seize an opportunity, smiling slightly, he waved his wand and pointed at Rein, shouting: “Magma Jet!”

The magma giant immediately opened its mouth, akin to a cave, and a jet of glowing magma gushed forth like a high-pressure hose, aiming straight for Rein!

“Not good!”

Rein narrowed his eyes and dodged twice in quick succession, narrowly avoiding this range attack.

But as he barely got to his feet, a pillar of flame followed close behind, another one of Asimov’s Flame Strikes.

Fortunately, Rein’s Magic Silver shield that surrounded him accelerated sharply, intercepting the pillar of flame, blocking most of the damage, and Rein was only forced back a small step.

Seeing that their well-coordinated strike had no effect.

Asimov ordered the magma giant at his feet to continue attacking Rein, while he conjured one Flame Strike after another with his hand, like a rapid-fire machine gun aiming at Rein.

At that moment, while under the effects of ‘Frenzy,’ he was like a non-stop talker, speaking faster than the cross-talk comedians Rein had heard about in his previous life!
