Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

The warship gradually sailed away from the island, leading many to genuinely believe that Yang Yu intended to leave.

But unexpectedly, before the warship had traveled a few kilometers, Yang Yu ordered Luo Luosi to repeatedly steer the ship, executing a drift on the sea followed by a sharp turn, heading straight toward Count Blood’s castle.

”Luo Luosi, do you remember the Blast Scroll I gave you earlier? As soon as you get there, bombard the castle at once!”

Luo Luosi wore a helpless expression, ”Just now you were only trying to gather intel... the way you acted made it seem like you truly planned to leave. Up to now, how many people have you deceived?”

Yang Yu chuckled, ”Do you remember how many loaves of bread you’ve eaten?”

”You rascal...” Luo Luosi was momentarily speechless, ”Forget it, thinking about it, if you were too honest, you wouldn’t have made it this far today. You’ve deceived Count Blood, he’ll never let it go. Once you launch the attack, there’s no turning back!”

”I know.”

Yang Yu’s answer was firm and unwavering, dispelling all of Luo Luosi’s concerns, who then drove the warship at full throttle toward the cliff.

As the castle drew nearer, Bai Jin raised her magic wand to the sky, various intricate Magic Arrays stacked upon each other at the wand’s tip, continuously absorbing the surrounding magic power.

While casting magic, Bai Jin relayed Yang Yu’s commands to everyone, assisting him in coordinating.

Once the magic power absorption was complete, a pure white beam shot out rapidly from Bai Jin’s wand, transforming into a rocket and soaring into the sky.

To prevent the Weather Magic from crashing into the Barrier, Bai Jin added an attack magic capable of pinpoint penetration before the Weather Magic.

Bai Jin’s magic split in the air like a rocket separating, dividing into two segments.

The first segment spun tirelessly like a gyroscope, accelerated forward, and first made contact with the Barrier.

Scarlet spread across the sky, outlining the shape of the Barrier, Bai Jin’s attack magic effortlessly drilled a hole through it.

The Weather Magic passed through the hole, blossoming in the clouds, and in an instant, the mist shrouding the island quickly dispersed, casting warm beams of sunlight down.

Yang Yu immediately ordered Luo Luosi: ”Blast the castle!”

Stopping the warship, Luo Luosi created tangible shells, cradling the explosive scroll Yang Yu had previously given her, rushing toward the massive castle like a moth to a flame.

Injecting magic power into the shell, Luo Luosi triggered the magic on the scroll, unleashing a frenzy of energy from it!

”Boom boom boom—”

The explosions echoed endlessly, thick smoke billowing, the stone walls, though protected by the Barrier, couldn’t withstand the continuous explosions, terrifying cracks spreading across the surface.

The sturdy walls crumbled, shattered rocks colliding with the cliff, plummeting into the sea.

Behind, the beautiful glass windows shattered, the ruptured walls casting rays of sunlight across Count Blood’s throne.

Count Blood’s face turned ashen, unable to believe what was happening, mumbling to himself:

”I never expected you would make such a foolish decision.

I laid it out plainly enough, made such concessions, yet you still chose to attack here without hesitation.

This time, I truly misjudged.

Since you’re so intent on being my enemy, I’ll make sure you suffer.”

His mutterings turned to laughter, Count Blood rose to his feet.

The explosion spread to the side of the hall, blasting through walls. Light sifted through the swirling dust, teasingly dappling the red carpet in front of Count Blood.

With each step Count Blood took, the light seemed to avoid him, scattering away.

In the forest lurked various Synthetic Beasts, ensuring that if Yang Yu attacked the island, he would be left with no escape.

Count Blood hadn’t anticipated such an unconventional approach from Yang Yu and his group.

Nevertheless, the Synthetic Beasts guarding the castle were sufficient to deal with them.

”Suffer in the inferno of poison,” he said.

The ring on his finger flashed a black light, and Count Blood headed toward the depths of the castle.

The explosions echoed continuously, amidst the vast smoke, Yang Yu saw Count Blood’s castle riddled with large holes from the blasts.

Drawing a shield, he wedged Helot into the gap of the shield, and Yang Yu leapt from the warship.

Using the Incredible Braking Boots and the Water Wave Walking Technique, Yang Yu tread on the roaring sea waves as if they were solid ground.

In quick succession, he jumped onto the rocks, using Climbing to stick firmly to the steep cliff, swiftly scaling upwards, approaching Count Blood’s castle in the blink of an eye.

Dodging falling debris, Yang Yu swallowed an Underwater Breathing Pill.

Helot quickly darted out from the gap in the shield, enveloping Yang Yu from head to toe.

Yang Yu leapt across the holes caused by the explosion, landing stably in a room.

Confirming no enemies were present, Yang Yu laid out a teleportation array scroll in a sunlit area.

Sensing the teleportation magic array was set up, Bai Jin, having just cast the Weather Magic, hurriedly organized personnel for teleportation.

A large number of Slimes emerged from barrels, finally prepared to enter the fray.

As planned beforehand, everyone swallowed Underwater Breathing Pills before heading to Count Blood’s castle, each donned strong Slime armor.

With Slimes for protection, even if the entire island were shrouded in poison fog, everyone could move freely.

The Slimes, with their strong defensive power, would absorb most of the damage, ensuring everyone’s safety.

The downside was, once a Slime died, it’s a double death, and with no oxygen inside the Slime, action is only possible with Underwater Breathing Pills.

Luckily, Yang Yu had a good stock of Underwater Breathing Pills.

Even with constant use, it would take three days to exhaust the supply.

Therefore, everyone needed only to manage the Slimes’ status well.

Managing a Slime’s status means managing one’s life.

The teleportation magic channel was completed. With the array not very large, Bai Jin planned to send personnel to Yang Yu in three batches.

Lotcar, Iyas, Lang Yi, Hualan, and Lingshan formed one group; Luo Hasta, Jiao Xi, Qiuye, Kula, Luo Luosi, and Bai Jin made up another group; the remaining Slimes comprised the third.

The teleportation array quickly activated, and after a dazzling flash, Lotcar and his group arrived at Count Blood’s castle and regrouped with Yang Yu.

However, just as Bai Jin was about to teleport the second batch, the warship suddenly trembled violently without warning.

A giant dark brown whale exerted all its strength, lifting the warship and letting out a prolonged call.

The warship was tipped so unexpectedly, Bai Jin’s teleportation magic couldn’t operate properly, making the second teleportation difficult.

Adding to the trouble, two forces flew out of the nearby forest to attack them.

One was the half-human, half-bird Hapi Clan, and the other, led by Aslit, was the Enchanting Demon Team.
