Demon King: Hero, don’t run away!

Sure, here is the translation based on your guidelines:

Although Qiuye has grown considerably during this time, there is still a huge gap between her and Kula Doreen.

The wet foot dragged a mark on the deck as Qiuye barely steadied herself.

Kula Doreen’s sword strike came suddenly, leaving Qiuye little time to react. She mobilized all her strength to barely withstand Kula Doreen’s blow.

Raising her head, Qiuye fixed her gaze on Kula Doreen’s figure, ready to face her father’s next attack.

However, Kula Doreen slowly sheathed his blade, showing no sign of emotion on his face: ”You did quite well.”

”Even though you were driven by emotions, your body still reacted swiftly. Qiuye, I must admit, you’re quite outstanding.

Let’s consider that sudden attack as a test.

You passed the test, so I’ll give you a chance.

But acting alone is indeed too dangerous.

Let’s go together.”

”But...”

Concern crawled up Qiuye’s face; she knew what she was about to face and didn’t want to involve others.

If someone died because of her, Qiuye couldn’t bear it.

”There’s no ’but’. We’re not here just for you this time.”

Kula Doreen gazed toward the direction in which the ship was sailing.

”Not just for me...” Qiuye’s eyes widened, ”Could it be...”

”Otherwise, what do you think it could be?” Yang Yu finally seized the opportunity and interjected into their conversation, ”I really didn’t expect to see you bumble and set sail alone so recklessly.”

Qiuye cast her gaze onto Yang Yu, recalling the scene where he had fished her out before. It was him who taught her much of the daily trivia, allowing her to successfully head to the Dragon God Conference.

”Did my father ask you to intervene? You’re the winner of the Dragon God Conference, with formidable strength, it’s only logical to seek you...”

Yang Yu smiled faintly,

”Don’t take yourself too seriously.

You’re extremely significant to your family, but you mean nothing to us.

We’re not just idlers; we have our own matters to attend to, unless your family can provide a reward that moves us, only then would I act.

Moreover, if I truly wanted to find you, given your clumsy personality, it wouldn’t take long to trace your whereabouts, wouldn’t have waited until now to meet you.”

”Clumsy...” Qiuye didn’t know how to refute, and could only awkwardly change the topic, ”Since you didn’t come to assist our father, what is your real intention?”

Leaning against the railing, listening to the sea breeze, Yang Yu sighed a long breath:

”These things you could learn with a bit of investigation.

Did you do absolutely no investigation during the Dragon God Conference?

Even if you didn’t, when I came to trade information with you, considering all that I taught you, you would have developed some interest in me and wanted to know why I had such deep knowledge of enchanting demons.

Before you set sail, did you not consider I might know where your sister is?”

Qiuye tilted her head, ”I never thought so. We don’t have much connection...

The first, second time meeting you, you didn’t seem like someone with secrets, quite ordinary...

What sort of person are you, why do you know so much?”

Yang Yu found himself speechless, unwilling to answer Qiuye’s question, should I really wear bizarre clothes in daylight to appear mysterious and pique your interest, making you think this cousin might know something, what a joke, that way I’d have been questioned by some unknown guard already!

Seeing this scenario, Kula Doreen wore a bitter smile:

”Qiuye, this gentleman is even more formidable than you imagine.

His identity is no secret among the upper ranks of the Luoze Empire.

Yet, it seems you haven’t paid much attention to domestic affairs.

The war between us and Wansheng Country is already over, someone manipulated enchanting demons to instigate that war.

Ending that war was precisely this gentleman.

The upper echelons of the Luoze Empire have given him the task to investigate the enchanting demons and the puppeteer behind them.

His presence here is also for that task.”

”Is that so...”

Qiuye lowered her head, feeling an inexplicable familiarity with her father’s words, as if heard elsewhere yet not heard.

Yang Yu pointedly addressed Qiuye’s confusion,

”In your subconscious, rescuing your sister sits at the top priority, and everything else becomes blurred and overwhelming to think properly?

Such a state truly reminds me of some fool; you’re as much a fool as she is.

Honestly, your current mental state isn’t suited for battle.”

Yang Yu’s panel displayed an emergency task received in the past: [Qiuye Doreen’s Reckless and Slim Hope Rescue].

This task would trigger two choices upon encountering Qiuye Doreen again: One, assist Qiuye Doreen in carrying out the slim hope rescue. Two, return Qiuye Doreen to her family.

Although Kula Doreen agreed to let Qiuye Doreen intervene, Yang Yu was the captain of this operation, so his word holds here.

Bringing along a tagalong would increase strategy difficulty, but at this point, there’s no turning back to send Qiuye Doreen away.

Yang Yu could only find a way to keep Qiuye Doreen in check, at least to stop her from causing chaos.

Discarding his previous jesting demeanor, Yang Yu crossed his arms,

”We may bring your father but might not necessarily bring you.

If you lose control of your emotions on the battlefield, you might pose unforeseen dangers to us.

There are more people than just you wanting to rescue your sister.

Your father alone will suffice.

Apart from your father, there’s no one else proficient in Broken Wind Style here, why do you think your father is here?

Rather than have an uncertain ticking bomb in the team, it’d be better just not to.

So, may I ask you to leave?”

Qiuye panicked, ”I’ve already thoroughly thought it through, I won’t be controlled by emotions anymore. Never like just now...”

Yang Yu continued to question, ”Who can guarantee?

From your performance earlier, I can’t fully trust you.”

”Then what must I do for you to trust me?”

”It’s estimated that no matter what you do, you won’t gain my full trust.”

Yang Yu said firmly:

”So this is merely a notice.

You can choose to leave, or you can choose to continue following me.

If you choose to stick with us....

Once you make any inappropriate moves, especially listening to those people telling you as long as you eliminate us, Aslit regains freedom, and turn against us in opposition...

At that point, I won’t hesitate to eliminate you.”

Upon finishing his speech, Yang Yu’s figure vanished on the spot, Qiuye realized Yang Yu, like her father, was now coming at her aggressively.
